UUtente ospiteSicuramente una recensione a cinque stelle! Ho piantato l'erba il primo giorno del mio soggiorno. Per fortuna ho prenotato con due giorni di anticipo. Per la colazione al primo piano c'era un flusso infinito di persone che venivano a prenotare le stanze Naturalmente, nessuna stanza era disponibile. I camerieri e le signore erano tutti pacati e il loro servizio era molto dettagliato. Erano molto entusiasti quando salutavano e salutavano. Hanno fornito il servizio in camera in modo tempestivo. Durante la colazione, ci hanno guardato con i nostri bambini e ci hanno chiesto calorosamente abbiamo mangiato bene e se vogliamo aggiungere qualcosa, aspetta, oltre alla nutriente colazione e allo squisito tè pomeridiano, ci sono anche dolcini che scaldano il cuore o porridge per lo spuntino notturno, che possono anche essere consegnati in camera attento. UUtente anonimoRoom is a bit small, but location is very good. We got green lake at the back, and old street nearby. Easy to order food. The only drawback is most of the taxi we ordered will stop in the middle of the road instead of infront of the hotel, since the hotel located on the street where they can't stop (or maybe it's just an excuse from our taxi driver).
Breakfast is so-so and cheaper if you buy at least a day before with the receptionist. But i think it is better to just order food outside. They deliver the food to the room with delivery robot.
Laundry room is a big plus for this hotel! We got to get back home with clean clothes.

UUtente ospiteThe hotel has a heavenly bed. The room was super clean which I appreciated a lot after long travels. The reception staff were sweet and friendly. They helped me to book a taxi from the hotel because their shuttle bus service stops at 2:30PM.
For travellers coming to Kunming from abroad note: bring cash RMB because you will need to pay the taxi, 40RMB two way ride. Taxi gives receipts. There is no public transportation such as bus or metro to the hotel area. Alternatively, you could download WeChat, didi applications. Unfortunately the hotel's wifi is weak and I was not able to download the apps. Otherwise enjoy a nice luxurious room with super comfy bed. Highly recommend the hotel.

L'hotel si trova nel mezzanino del secondo piano. L'ingresso è relativamente vicino dal gate di partenza n°1. La camera è molto pulita e, poiché è all'interno dell'aeroporto, il prezzo è più alto rispetto ad altri hotel in tutte le stagioni. Le ragazze della reception hanno un servizio molto buono ed entusiasta.

XXileliangyaoSembrava che il capo ricevesse parenti da lontano, guidando il treno ad alta velocità per prenderlo e lasciarlo. Quando entrò nella stanza, sembrava che fosse il suo nido confortevole. Era ben attrezzato, pulito e igienico posto tranquillo nel mezzo del trambusto. Era circondato da vivaci strade per gli snack e il trasporto era conveniente. Era a circa un chilometro dalla stazione dei treni ad alta velocità. Il servizio della coppia di capi è così premuroso! Eccezionale! Grazie capo per aver dato una ”casa” confortevole alle persone che vagano lontano.

PPsymondDespite the convenient location, comfortable beds, and all-important quiet sleep we managed to get, the hotel's communication to arrange our pick up from the train station at night and what turned out to be a self-check-in was just dismal, clearly needing more training to ensure better organisation for future guests. The following constructive advice is to help the hotel improve and for (particularly foreign) guests to note:
1. Ask for guests' phone number and inform the driver well in advance of our arrival, instead of waiting till the very last minute to do so. We reached out to the hotel via WeChat the day before and rightfully received detailed instructions (in Chinese) to find the driver (the pick up service is actually outsourced to a separate company using 3 different vans), but once we found the van, the driver angrily insisted we call the hotel to identify us by confirming our phone number - we were not allowed to board without the hotel's confirmation, which should have been done directly with the driver well in advance of our arrival.
2. This hotel is not manned after hours, let alone 24 hours, so please make it known well beforehand that we will have to check in ourselves if arriving after hours, and provide clear instructions on how to do so instead of communicating them through the phone while guiding us using the security cameras. It is not the guests' responsibility to do your administrative work (to report ourselves to the authorities by scanning the police QR code and filling out our details) at 11 o'clock at night when we have an early morning train to catch the following day. The hotel should allow guests to enter the room as soon as possible upon arrival, not have us wait half an hour while they struggle with what was clearly their first time checking in foreign guests - worse still over the phone - insisting that this be done before we could enter our room.
3. If the hotel truly wants the patronage of foreign guests, they will have to prioritise our convenience and comfort over theirs by actually having someone check us in in-person. Remotely doing so to save costs is as absurd as expecting foreign guests to communicate our details over the phone, sending photos of ourselves, our passport details etc. via WeChat, and then finding our room card and the room by talking to someone over the phone in Chinese. At the very least, these requirements and instructions should be clearly produced and communicated beforehand so that nothing is improvised.
We hope the above experience helps improve what is a decent hotel providing good value for money.
