they were renovating during our stay so some ammenities weren’t exactly where they are but overall it was a value for money stay. they upgraded us to the executive suite which was a really big room. some parts of the room like the paint is abit worn down if you really stare at it. the water pressure was really bad but despite that the room was clean and service was good.
in room meal was not the best in terms of taste, didnt get breakfast tho. hopefully once the renovations are done it will look much betterb

Ho fatto il check-in nella camera 718 e sono stato svegliato la mattina presto dal rumore dei lavori di ristrutturazione al piano di sopra (il suono di trapani elettrici e martellamenti; quando ho fatto il check-in, non mi è stato detto che erano in corso dei lavori di ristrutturazione sopra l'8° piano e che ci sarebbero stati rumore). Quando ho visto l'ora erano solo le 9. Poi ho chiamato il servizio di pulizia, ma non ha funzionato. Era inutile lasciare la stanza e dirlo al personale delle pulizie nella stanza accanto. Quando scesi alla reception, l'addetto alla reception PETROS in realtà disse che ora potevo cambiare stanza. Ho chiesto di negoziare con il direttore generale Dopo avermi contattato, il cameriere ha detto che il direttore generale era in riunione e ha contattato lo staff tecnico per fermare il rumore delle decorazioni.
Passarono 45 minuti, ma il suono delle decorazioni era ancora lì. Sono dovuto scendere alla reception verso le 10 circa per lamentarmi con il direttore generale, ma è scomparso. Dopo aver protestato ripetutamente alla reception, la responsabile della reception NADIA è uscita e ha fermato il rumore causato dalla decorazione. Era già passata più di un'ora.
Dopo l'incidente, l'hotel non si è scusato.

Love the small welcome note that left in the room by the housekeeping team, small gesture but felt warmly welcomed. Keep up the good work.
Room was clean and cozy, amenities sufficient, only feedback is on the room door, couldn't close on its own hence have to close it manually everytime I went out.
There is this nice Kueh chap just opposite the hotel, must try! And a good bar further to the left opposite the hotel.
Nice location, Good reception, second time I'm back for business trip.

Anche se l'edificio dall'esterno è piuttosto vecchio, ma affascina vista dall'interno. Il posto è confortevole. Solo problema con la doccia calda. E il personale non è stato cordiale durante il check out, il che è piuttosto triste.

Have been to Kuching couple of times but 1st time staying at this hotel, chose it due to proximity to the Waterfront.
Stayed at the King size room with a view of the DUN building and waterfront, can watch light shows every night from the room at 6th floor. Room was very spacious. Hotel is old, the mirror door was cracked.
My concern was that as the hotel is linked to a mall and the mall share the same lift with the hotel, it keeps the lifts busy and us hotel guests have to wait for the lift and some non guests were able to access the rooms level if they just stayed in the lift even though they intend to access the mall, which I witness many times. Weirdos from the mall can just come knocking at your hotel room since they can just follow you to your floor without having to tap hotel card in the lift! To me this is a security and privacy concern to the
safety of hotel guests. By right, non guest should only be able to access the lift up to the lobby or use a separate lift that doesnt give access to the pool and rooms. Or the lift to the mall for hotel guest be kept separate. Breakfast spread was good though I find ex at RM30-40 for my 6 year old. She could eat breakfast for free in european hotels. Pool water is also cold as you don't get the sun in. Hotel staff are all very helpful.

Ci sono andato per un breve viaggio in famiglia, fortunatamente solo per due notti. L'hotel è un edificio antico. E il prezzo è un po' alto, considerando che i servizi non sono proprio comodi. La piscina è letteralmente all'ingresso della reception e vicino al bar. Non so chi stia cercando di impressionare nuotando davanti a queste persone.

I was a bit disappointed with my stay. Prior to check-in, I had sent a message via chat and also called directly to request a simple anniversary decoration in the room. I was assured that a basic swan towel deco could be arranged. However, when I arrived, there was nothing prepared at all. It was quite disheartening, especially since this stay was meant to be a special occasion. In addition, I noticed that there was no tissue box provided in the room, and the one in the bathroom had not been replenished. We had to make do with just toilet paper. The bidet pipe was also leaking, the floor was wet. I attempted to contact reception and housekeeping, but the in-room phone was not functioning at all, leaving us with no way to communicate our concerns during the stay. Made it seem like its there just for decoration.
These may seem like small issues, but as a guest, it’s the little touches and attention to detail that make a hotel experience memorable. I wasn’t expecting anything extravagant, just the basic comforts and a gesture that was promised. Unfortunately, this time, the experience fell short. But the view was amazing though.

Overall very nice resort, kids like it very much. Alot activities as the pool and the beach are nearby, easy to play around two side. The food in the hotel nice too. But there is no parking lot for the hills room take the luggage up for walking up 3 level staircase, difficult for the elderly as once they back the hotel will not willing to step out anymore.

CCik MinahRecentemente sono rimasto all'Hotel Theatre, ed è stata una piacevole esperienza in generale. L'hotel è bello e nuovo, e sono stato impressionato dal moderno contatto – che non usano più le carte di accesso, invece, si usa un codice per entrare nella vostra stanza, che è un approccio fresco e conveniente.
La stanza era pulita e ben mantenuta, rendendola un luogo confortevole per rilassarsi. Tuttavia, il colazione potrebbe servire un po’ di miglioramento. Sarebbe bello se avessero una stazione d’uovo vivente per offrire più varietà e opzioni freschi preparate. Vorrei inoltre proporre di estendere la selezione del pane per una più ampia gamma di opzioni.
In generale, è un ottimo luogo per soggiornare con potenziale per una più piacevole colazione esperienze!

Additionally, the strategic location of the hotel, with its proximity to nearby shopping malls and easy access to the hospital, was incredibly convenient and added to the overall comfort of my stay.
However, I would like to provide some feedback regarding the buffet breakfast. I noticed that the current selection of breakfast items is somewhat limited. Adding more variety to the menu would greatly enhance the dining experience for guests. Perhaps including more options such as a wider range of fruits, pastries, hot dishes, and local delicacies could cater to diverse tastes and dietary preferences.

Il check-in è stato semplice ed efficiente, con personale alla reception cordiale e lieto di rispondere a tutte le mie domande.
La camera era impeccabilmente pulita, spaziosa e arredata con gusto. Ho apprezzato in particolare il letto e la biancheria comodi, che hanno reso il mio sonno fantastico. I servizi offerti, tra cui la macchina per il caffè in camera e il set di cortesia, hanno aggiunto un tocco di lusso.
La posizione dell'hotel era perfetta: comoda vicino alle attrazioni e ai ristoranti locali, ma abbastanza tranquilla da far sentire l'ospite in un rifugio tranquillo. Ho apprezzato anche i servizi in loco, come la palestra e la piscina, ben tenuti e accoglienti.
Un punto forte del mio soggiorno è stata l'eccezionale esperienza culinaria presso il ristorante dell'hotel. Il cibo era delizioso, con un'ampia varietà di opzioni nel menu, e il personale ha offerto un servizio eccellente.

Room : have kitchen cabinet filled with items you can cook, heat light meals and have it in the rooms, wit flat table.
Bathroom : shower n Toilet size minimum if you dont mind the space. They have split it with mirror n utensils section before entering toilet/shower..

Quello che mi piace di più di questo hotel è la colazione a buffet! Dove trovare hotel che servono laksa sarawak e mee kolok come buffet? Qui servono tutto!!! E anche la vista è accattivante dato che abbiamo preso la camera con vista sul mare :) ma gli aspetti negativi sono che il bagno ha solo il bidet ed è piuttosto lento e la piscina è nell'ala puteri quindi devi camminare un po'. A parte questo, tutto è fantastico e conveniente in questo hotel! ❤️❤️❤️

FFazlie BinTo best describe this place, it's like a mini paradise atop a cliff overlooking the beautiful sea, with a twist of staying in large cylindrical concert culverts.
You can easily spot it along the road to Damai with its large circular logo at its gate. It was closed upon my arrival at 3pm, but due to the main entrance being easily seen from the receptionist area, it didn't take long for them to open the gate, and I just drove right in.
The receptionist was very polite and welcoming, decently professional as well, after checking us in we were given a quick tour around, highlighting the facilities and public areas.
The room itself, being quite quirky in its own way, isn't too difficult to maneuver around, as long as you don't rush yourself and knock yourself around the relatively tiny room. Adequate steps are built to help climbing up and moving around, with simple storage spots around the bed, which by itself takes up about half of the room. The other side of the room is the bathing area, which I would say is surprisingly spacious enough to use. So a bed and a bathing area sums up the entire, unique cylindrical room.
The hotel itself is nicely planned, guests can pamper themselves by picking their favorite spots located around the place, and enjoy a marvelous view of the sea. There's also a small private beach all the way down the cliff too. Facilities include swimming pools, sauna room, washer + dryer machines, gymnasium, library, etc. are pretty neat if you need them.
I would say the place is great for couples, and a short refresher trip. I technically live in the city just half an hour drive away, but to catch a break from work and relax here for a day, I'd recommend this place in a heartbeat. Just make sure you've got the legs to climb up and down the place!

WWee PengThe overall staff services provided is excellent including the receptionists, male and female,all of them are showing me their smiling face while asking for information especially Robert, allaisteir and few female, l can’t remember her names. Room facility is a bit run down and no renovation done. Hotel building exteriors looks good but room interior is with 80s furniture . The water colour is yellow especially the toilet and wash basin, l need to flush for 5 6 times, then the water becomes clearer. Bath towel upon request from laundry , not available in the room. The bathtub is leaking at the corner edges each time we took our shower, the floor nearby the toilet bowl will be watery and can’t comfortably use the toilet as our bare foot will get wet. With the rate l paid through trip.com is still acceptable. Housekeeping forgot to provide the daily drinking water for my 2nd day but managed to have it after inform receptionist. Eatery areas can be find easily, there is one infront of the hotel ( famous for Sarawak laksa)and across the road, commercial shop lots with a lot of kopitiam and aircond restaurants they upgraded our room due to running high occupancy ( association rooms booking)

MMOHD HUSSINThis was my second time staying at Hotel Dormani in Kuching, and it had its ups and downs. We were fortunate to secure a room with two single beds for less than RM80, which was quite a steal given its proximity to Masjid Bandaraya Kuching. The main reason we chose this hotel was its convenient walking distance to the mosque, allowing us to easily attend Eid Adha prayers.
However, our room was not without its issues. The bed linens were disappointingly dirty, with noticeable blood stains in several places. The window frame was dusty, indicating a lack of thorough cleaning. Moreover, one of the towels provided was torn, which was inconvenient.
On the positive side, the staff at Hotel Dormani were exceptionally friendly and attentive throughout our stay. They were quick to address our concerns and tried their best to make our experience comfortable despite the shortcomings.
In conclusion, while this hotel offers excellent value and convenience for those visiting Kuching, improvements are needed in maintaining cleanliness and the condition of amenities.
