My wife and I just finished a 7 day stay at the Hotel Copernicus. The hotel is perfectly located in Old City. It is a classy establishment with rooms that are spacious and well decorated. Ours offered a view to Wawel Castle. Bathroom had a gigantic tub and a separate shower. The breakfasts were delicious and served in a lovely dining area by professional staff . We did a food tasting paired with wine that was outstanding. From reception to restaurant to housekeeping all staff were at the top of their game. Hotel Manager Joanna made our stay memorable with her kindness and attention to our stay there. 5 stars in all aspects and a must to stay in when visiting Kraków.

tappa in questa bella città,veramente un bel hotel,con prezzi buoni per essere a 5 minuti a piedi dalla famosa piazza del centro storico,in confine con il famoso parco che fa da contorno a tutto il centro storico,bella hall,belle camere spaziose,bel bagno con doccia spaziosa,cambio degli asciugamano tutti i giorni(ne danno uno a testa,(a noi sono bastati in quanto mi porto sempre via gli accappatoi in microfibra)letto comodo come misure anche se scritto letto alla francese,2 bottigliette di acqua tutti i giorni,hotel silenzioso.C'è un però,l'aria condizionata c'è,ma è come non ci fosse,l'impianto nelle camere è da rivedere,non era un problema solo della mia camera,anche i miei amici avevano lo stesso problema,purtroppo abbiamo pure beccato due giorni caldissimi,quindi glielo abbiamo fatto presente e ci hanno fatto trovare in camera un ventilatore,altra cosa che metterei dato che il posto c'è un piccolo frigo.per il resto ve lo straconsiglio.

Plus point is the view, IF you get a river view. Half the rooms don't have one, so be specific. Nothing else is good. Why else do you think it features so highly in their own adverts? There was perhaps a time when the hotel was great. But it has not been maintained. The rooms are bare, with a horrid rough carpet and they give the impression of being from a museum of life under communism. The breakfast was very poor. Coffee machine worked intermittently. Little variety or choice. I've had better breakfasts in several Polish youth hostels. As I sat down to breakfast, I found a dollop of congealed yoghurt and crumbs on my seat. This did nothing for my appetite. My main concern is that I booked a room late on a Friday. I knew it wouldn't have a river view - see from my pictures what view it did have - But I did hope to sleep. That hope never materialised. They gave me room 11, which is right underneath the motor for the air conditioning in the whole hotel. I tried to sleep and couldn't, being kept awake by frequent intermittent banging noises from the pipes overhead. They knew what they were doing when they gave me that room. At 2.45am, I got the receptionist to come up snd listen. he agreed it was awful. Then he went downstairs and turned the whole system off. it came back on again at 7am. Waste of time. Laughably, he tried to claim the noise was my air conditioning. But he had to be quiet when I pointed out it was not even switched on. They cynically exploited a lone foreigner, hoping he wouldn't complain.

Gli appartamenti si trovano in una posizione praticamente perfetta per visitare la città, accanto alla collina del castello di Wawel e a metà tra il quartiere ebraico Kazimierz, pieno zeppo di locali e ristoranti di tutti i tipi e la piazza del mercato, entrambi raggiungibili in circa cinque minuti di cammino, inoltre la zona è servita da diversi mini market e caffè dove poter fare anche colazione. La struttura è nuova e gli appartamenti sono dislocati all’interno di un palazzo con un cortile interno e la reception è situata al piano terra, attiva h24. Il personale composto da ragazzi e ragazze giovani è sempre disponibile, cordiale e pronto a soddisfare ogni richiesta. L’appartamento che abbiamo avuto era abbastanza spazioso, come anche il bagno, tutto molto pulito, arredato bene e dotato di ogni i confort, compresa la lavatrice e la lavastoviglie che non abbiamo mai usato, angolo cottura completo di macchinetta del caffè, bollitore e forno a microonde e tradizionale. C’era anche un balcone con tavolo e sedie che purtroppo non abbiamo potuto usare per via delle basse temperature. L’unica nota negativa se così si può dire è relativo alla pulizia della camera che purtroppo non è compresa, non essendo un hotel suppongo, ma per fortuna a richiesta vengono forniti gli asciugamani puliti durante il soggiorno. Se dovessi tornare lo sceglierei nuovamente e di sicuro lo consiglio a tutti.
