Bene, tutto è bene, è pulito n moderno. Ma la posizione è tranquillo n un po 'di distanza dai parametri (e mi sembrava che la strada è vuota, nessuna PLL n negozi) anche se ci sono voluti 15 minuti a piedi per raggiungere le attrazioni, ma quasi niente si può acquistare lì. Quindi se la vostra ricerca di hotel che r conveniente, non sarà la migliore opzione, ma il rapporto costo-beneficio è ok a questo £ per quanto riguarda la pulizia n moderno design.

Bella hotel. Tuttavia, devi essere consapevoli che ci sono molte famiglie dislocate che restano qui, che sono assolutamente a favore, ma, la famiglia vicino a noi aveva un cane e ci svegliamo 3 giorni in fila da un.cane barking per 1 ora mentre erano giù per colazione! Non ci aspettavamo la pausa rilassante, ci sono state feste, venerdì e sabato, che erano molto rumorose, e sono un po' troppo lontane dal centro. Facile da prendere un taxi e circa £5-7 ogni modo, ma Krakow è così economico da pensare che si otterrebbe un alloggio nel centro per equivalente a questo hotel più un taxi ogni giorno.

For a hotel whose main purpose is to service conference guests, it is unfortunate that the in-room WiFi connection is utterly unreliable and makes working impossible - the signal could not support any remote working. I had to use my non-Polish cell phone data as a hotspot for my laptop. This is a huge issue that really needs to be resolved for business guests ASAP. When I complained about this, I was told to use the executive lounge for a better connection - yet I can hardly inflict a 2 hour long Teams meeting on the other lounge guests. The hotel road access must also be mentioned - frankly the design is stupid. The single access lane with boom gate to the hotel is constantly blocked by a steady stream of taxis and food delivery cars. They park there while waiting for customers or to drop off food orders, so guests cannot enter and must wait around - on one occasion this was for 5 minutes and the driver was rude and aggressive when I politely requested he move and wait elsewhere. Breakfast at the Fifth Avenue restaurant is barely acceptable - I have had better free basic breakfasts at a Hampton Inn. The quality of the food is lacking, but also the poor preparation/cooking really stands out - e.g. undercooked, cold hash browns. The guy on the desk was obnoxious and acted like it was my fault my name wasn't on the list - even though my Honors loyalty status means I'm automatically entitled to breakfast as a benefit. Apparently I was to blame for a lack of communication amongst hotel staff. The restaurant itself was heaving with poorly behaved guests, children running around screeching and spilling liquids. The young wait staff was overwhelmed - needed tables were left uncleared. I had to do this myself, then ask twice for fresh cutlery/china. The quality of food from room service was equally sub-standard and disappointing. The parking ticket machine does not work. After wasting a ridiculous amount of time trying to pay for parking, I went inside to reception where the guy laughed and said 'Oh no, it doesn't work. Pay here at the desk'. Maybe put up a sign? Guests should be aware that the pool is shared with guests from the adjoining Hampton. Apparently it's not intended to be used by child free adults before 20:00 - the rest of the day it's taken over by noisy kids playing ball games who prevent actual swimming. If you need to withdraw money from the automatic teller machine - good luck doing this of an evening when the area is closed off and inaccessible. Finally, the mattress was uncomfortable. Neither firm nor soft, just lacking in decent springs/support and in need of an update. The one positive was the evening happy hour at the executive lounge. Good quality options - goulash soup really good. The two male waiters very helpful and good at clearing and monitoring. Given the inconvenient location away from the city centre and the overall average quality of the hotel's offering, I've asked my company to avoid booking future stays

Discreto hotel di fascia economica appartenente alla famiglia Hilton, purtroppo penalizzato dalla sua posizione, alla periferia di Cracovia e letteralmente in mezzo al nulla. In più la presenza di un centro commerciale abbandonato proprio di fronte all'hotel non migliora l'appeal della zona. Il primo impatto con l'hotel non è stato dei migliori: sono arrivato in tarda mattinata, quando la camera non era ancora pronta (avendo la tessera fedeltà Diamond Hilton se vi sono camere disponibili viene garantito il check-in anticipato) e l'accoglienza dell'addetta alla reception è stata abbastanza seccata, come se fossi arrivato a disturbare. Ho lasciato in deposito il bagaglio e sono andato in città, per poi rientrare nel tardo pomeriggio, quando la camera era pronta e dove l'accoglienza della nuova addetta è stata diametralmente opposta, altamente cordiale e professionale con diversi consigli su come muovermi in città, e mi ha fatto pure recapitare in camera un set di cartine e brochure sulle cose da vedere in città. Le camere hanno il tradizionale layout di tutti gli hotel Hampton by Hilton, gli spazi comuni sono ampi, vi è anche una palestra, una piscina e una spa (a pagamento a meno di avere una tessera fedeltà Hilton) in condivisione con l'hotel gemello Doubletree by Hilton. Eccellente la colazione, molto al di sopra degli standard di tutti gli Hampton by Hilton. Come già detto l'hotel è in posizione molto periferica, e per questo motivo, a meno di non riuscire a trovare tariffe stracciate che compensino il disagio, lo vedo più adatto ad una clientela business e non ad un turista, che si deve spostare più volte al giorno verso il centro città. Per quanto riguarda i mezzi pubblici la fermata più vicina è quella delle linee di tram 1, 14 e 22 che in circa 15 minuti arrivano in diverse zone del centro (il 22 permette anche di fare coincidenza con il bus 300 per l'aeroporto). La fermata si raggiunge in poco più di 5 minuti a piedi attraversando una ferrovia e percorrendo poi una strada in una zona in parte disabitata; rientrando a tarda sera l'area appare un po' inquietante, soprattutto se siete da soli e non siete pratici della zona. Altra soluzione potrebbe essere il taxi, il cui costo per una corsa verso il centro è attorno ai 6 euro, ma a mio parere la cosa non ha assolutamente senso per un turista: ipotizzando 2 viaggi giornalieri di andata e ritorno verso il centro si spendono almeno 24 euro, vanificando la convenienza di scegliere un hotel periferico perchè più economico (per il mio pernottamento ho pagato circa 60 euro). Meglio in questo caso spendere qualche euro in più e alloggiare presso un 4 stelle centrale a costi di poco superiori ai 100 euro, considerando che mediamente gli hotel in Polonia sono più economici rispetto all'Italia.

We visited Krakow in order to attend Bjork's tour. To anyone interested in concerts, it is the best choice, as it's just 15 mins on foot from Tauron arena, or 5' if you get transport. There is a railway stop just outside the hotel taking you to the old town in 5 minutes, as well. The decoration of the lobby is really interesting and seems like decorators put really effort into it. Despite the young age of all staff, they were quite friendly and helpful. Another good point was the shower, as you can set the temperature really easily. There was also a shared iron room, which I found a really good idea. What could be improved is that there should be one use flip flops in the room as amenities, as it was quite uncomfortable visiting the bath bare foot. Temperature was really high and we couldn't set it to a lower but just turn the fan speed to 0. Also, I feel that the food catalogue was too expensive, so we were discouraged to taste anything from the hotel, even just a burger. For a 3 star city hotel, such food should be cheaper than every place in the city, not the opposite. We really enjoyed our stay and If we had to visit Krakow again, we would definitely come back.

Una veloce camminata e sei al Barbakan. Letto comodissimo, servizi igienici basici ma efficienti. Conveniente, include colazione tipo continentale. Pulito. Sicuro, reception h24, ascensore, doppia entrata vicino alla stazione centrale. Non prenotare se cerchi il lusso. Prenota a colpo sicuro se vuoi viverti la città.
