Hotel con colazione inclusa a Koh Samui

Soggiorno per 6 notti con colazione. Ottima la posizione della struttura sulla baia di Chaweng, con ampia piscina affacciata sul mare. Buona la camera standard e la pulizia. Colazione internazionale, con pochi elementi dolci, servita presso il ristorante fronte mare, la cui vista vale il soggiorno. Personale sempre cortese e disponibile. Usufruito del servizio massaggi, tour organizzato e transfert per aeroporto

I read many reviews about this resort and studied the Mantra Samui website, but never learned until after I booked (4 nights stay) my room that they had cancelled , during Covid, the regular shuttle that took guests down the hill to Fisherman Villa. I learned this because I called the hotel before my trip to ask some questions and also ask how to reserve a place on their shuttle. The resort does have one auto/driver that will drive you down to the bottom of the hill if it is there, and if it is not picking up someone at the airport. The shuttle delivers you directly to the bottom of the hill, is pretty much is just a local road. Then you can wave down a taxi and negotiate the price. Some fun! The Mantra Sumai should update their website to say the regular shuttle has been cancelled, and replaced by their maybe available one car. Continuing my story... We booked a massage at another hotel that is about 20 minutes away, and gave ourselves one hour to get there. So the night before we reserved to get the ride down to the bottom of the hill for the next day afternoon. When we went to reception, we were informed there was an accident, which was a flat tire, and the tire 'might' be fixed in half an hour and then another 20 minutes to get back to the Mantra. They apparently felt no responsibility to contact us. Just wait for the guests to show up and then tell them. They felt no responsibility to call the driver for any update. They then offered to call a taxi, but that would take about 20 minutes to arrive. Also when you call a taxi there is no opportunity for negotiation. My hour was dwindling. Well 20 is better than maybe 30 + 20 minutes. So they called the taxi. Luckily the Mantra driver showed up after 15 minutes, and the taxi was cancelled. My conclusion, after all the interfaces with reception, is they have a poor sense of responsibility and lacking the ability for logical thinking to provide a good guest experience. There are other examples beyond the above. Our suite room was in good condition, and everything functioning. Well, except the phone did not work, but I did not need that. The suite has a king size bed and a separate built in bed in the back of the living room. OK, so 4 people can stay. But the flaw in the suites is there is only a 2 person love seat to sit on. There is no chair, and no desk. It is no fun to use your laptop when the coffee table level is below your knees. A simple 4 leg table for a desk, and a simple chair would be nice, and not cost very much. They do have an on-site co-work room somewhere, but I did not use it. I think it is an extra cost and I did not have that much work to do anyway. The highlight of the Mantra Samui was the included breakfast. There are many cooked to order choices plus a buffet of juices, fruits, cereals, yogurt, pastries, and several breads you can toast yourself. We stayed here for 6 nights. in January 2023. Staff were friendly, respectful, accommodating & wanted to make our stay wonderful. Special thanks to a lady who ensured our room was really special and cleaned. The room was great and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was awesome and an old man was there, paying attention to all the guests. The hotel in ideally located right on a road opposite of Chaweng Noi beach that is very quiet and amazing place to suntan and relax. A seven eleven is near by the Hotel just 10 min walk. it is 100 Baht to take into the town center by tuk tuk. We rent a motorbike from the hotel which was brand new and we did not need to pay for a taxi anymore. The hotel restaurant offers a variety of foods & overlooks a nice pool with lovely setting. I would definitely come back here & would recommend it without hesitation. Thank you Chaweng Noi Pool Villa for an amazing holiday.

Away from the hustle of central Chaweng, so is a good spot to be based for quiet times and used as a base to explore the island. Beachfront pool villas are nice, large and great views of the ocean. Private pool is a bonus and well worth the upgrade. Hotel was busy when I stayed and everyone seemed to be happy and enjoying themselves. The pool isn’t the largest but plentiful for the amount of rooms. Don’t forget, there are the villas with private pools, so a fair number of guests will be in their own area. Access to the beach is not directly in front of the hotel, but that’s a good thing otherwise I would be hearing everyone in front of my villa each day. Access is the side of the resort just past the restaurant. Along this stretch of beach has a few other hotel bars and restaurants to eat and drink in and if you head to the furtherest headland point, and head inland, you will come across a handful of bars and restaurants. As many people have said, the hotel is next to a road - but like most hotels in Samui, it’s just the design of the island. You can avoid the main road for your walk to the local area by going along the stretch of beach. And when you are on the island, why wouldn’t you want to walk along the beach?! So don’t listen to those comments about nothing nearby. If you want the hustle of the nightlife, Chaweng central is 15 minutes away. Get on the shuttle or order a taxi for 300thb. It’s a 4 star hotel, trying to get back to some kind of normal after covid and over time, I am sure the owners will reinvest their money to make improvements where some other guests have commented about in other posts but I do think it is dependent on the room type you book and/or are assigned as most of them are fine. Give it a go, it is worth it. I’ve been to many hotels over the years - more than the average Joe - and it’s only recently where I’ve checked in and out of two hotels on the same day in all these years.

Buongiorno noi abbiamo soggiornato 15 giorni in Questo hotel. che tutto sommato era carino ma non un 5 Stelle le camere più volte non era stata rifatta e bisognava rincorrere il personale addetto Di questo hotel bisogna sapere un po’ di cose 1 La spiaggia non è attrezzata anche lì bisognava fare delle corse per avere un lettino e ombrellone per poi rimanere seduti su un puf tutto il giorno 2 Dentro la struttura costava tutto il triplo in accettabile !!come prendere in giro il cliente 3 La sera in struttura era un vero mortorio 4 Per uscire dalla struttura visto che era un 5 stelle mi aspettavo una navetta che ci portasse almeno in centro, invece no fuori ci sono tuc tuc che adesso hanno capito come sfruttare il turista e hanno prezzi non convenienti , per gente che usciva almeno 2 volte al giorno. come noi è stato un problema e soprattutto un stress.Appena arrivati abbiamo avuto un problema ci siamo confrontati con il Manager Il sig Max non è stato risolutivo anzi ci siamo sentiti presi in giro è stato molto angosciate perché. da parte della struttura non abbiamo avuto l’assistenza Dovuta. .L’isola di ko samui bella ma molto sporca i thailandesi. non ci tengono. siamo solo da sfruttare . Ho sentito dire che la thailandia e economica non ci credete. !!se mangiate per strada non ci sono le norme igieniche idonei sicuramente vi beccate un interitte i intestinale è così si è costretti a girare per ristoranti e spendere un salasso Apro una parentesi per hotel la colazione è ottima per fortuna .

La posizione dell'hotel è centrale, vicino a tutto. Mi è piaciuta molto la piscina delle scimmie che è molto lunga, divertente e pulita da giocare, e c'è un bar nell'acqua. La stanza Bangalow è abbastanza confortevole, anche se c'è solo 1 presa sul pavimento, il che significa che se vuoi far bollire l'acqua devi mettere la caldaia sul pavimento. Non ci sono molti asciugamani, se ne vuoi di più devi chiamare il servizio clienti. Ci sono rumori di aereo e bar ogni giorno e notte, ma io dormo fino a tardi quindi non mi dà fastidio.

Questo è il nostro primo viaggio all'estero dopo che mia moglie è andata in pensione e l'epidemia di tre anni si è conclusa. Il Silavadee Resort è la nostra ultima tappa e quella che non vediamo l'ora di fare, quindi voglio ancora dare una valutazione di questa tappa te stesso. Nel complesso sono soddisfatto, ma non perfetto. Innanzitutto il servizio di accoglienza dell'hotel è stato molto buono ed entusiasta. Possiamo comunicare tramite l'APP dell'hotel. Non ero soddisfatto della camera n. 28 che ci era stata assegnata all'inizio, perché era vicina al ristorante , aveva scarsa privacy e le basse piante verdi davanti alla piscina bloccavano la vista. Grazie al coordinamento di Ctrip, siamo stati trasferiti al n. 32. C'è un albero nel cortile e un grande albero vicino alla piscina. Sebbene sia diversa dalle foto promozionali, posso accettarlo. Pensavo di poter vedere l'alba e il tramonto, ma in realtà potevo vederli entrambi, forse a causa di questa imperfezione, ho ritenuto accidentalmente che fosse il vantaggio più grande di questa stanza è che altre stanze simili non ce l'hanno. Poiché un grande albero può ombreggiare il sole, possiamo goderci la piscina per almeno 2 ore ogni giorno. La felicità è una benedizione sotto mentite spoglie. Il ristorante STAR dell'hotel ha un ambiente fantastico, lì puoi vedere la bellissima alba, specialmente di notte, puoi guardare il tramonto sulle montagne e la luna che sorge sul mare ricevere il suo eccellente servizio. Motivo della detrazione dei punti per i servizi: c'è un problema con il rubinetto dell'acqua calda del lavandino sul lato sinistro del bagno, ma non dovrebbe essere così. Motivi per detrarre punti per il servizio: La colazione è davvero squisita, ma il servizio è un po' scadente Possiamo accogliere gli ospiti europei e americani con un sorriso, perché no? Anche il servizio all'uscita dall'hotel era rigido ed era un hotel completamente diverso da quando sono arrivato. Oh, quasi dimenticavo, i biscotti al cocco negli snack gratuiti forniti dall'hotel sono davvero deliziosi. Si dice che li facciano loro stessi. Devo ringraziare il pasticcere dell'hotel.

I nearly changed my holiday because of the negative reviews that i read here, however i was so pleased i didn't and went with my gut instinct. I have just returned from the most wonderful relaxing holiday at the Mai Samui beach resort. The hotel has been built in a traditional Thai style, on a quiet peninsular of Samui. So if you are looking for a glossy high rise concrete soulless block with entertainment and plenty of bars surrounding you, then this is not the place for you. There are a few local restaurants and a coffee shop only a few minutes walk away. With lively Bophut, with the Fisherman's market and Nathon are only a short taxi ride away (or free bus from hotel every day). The hotel has a variety of rooms to stay in, a couple of restaurants and a great beach bar with an extensive cocktail menu. The staff are all amazing, friendly and helpful. The hotel is currently having a few renovations but so has everyone else. Hotels and bars across the world have all suffered being locked down for several years due to Covid 19, and have only just re-opened, so yes they all need to do a bit of catch up. The renovations did not impact us in any way, and did not spoil our holiday one bit. I chose not to do all inclusive and opted for breakfast only. There was plenty of choice every morning. The egg chef was always busy with everyone's individual orders. One very small negative is the lack gluten free options or milk alternatives, but we worked around it. The beach is not your usual tropical lounging sandy spot. This is a very shallow tidal bay with some rocks and corals. It is great for a low tide walk, but not swimming. To make up for this the hotel has a couple of large well thought out swimming pools. and there is a raised sandy area to the front of the beach with plenty of sunbeds and chairs to lounge on. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel if you prefer a quite resort but with easy access to livelier towns. If i have the chance i would definitely come back again. I booked Rocky’s mainly because it was “starred” in Lonely Planet, and the price did not feel outrageous for what appeared to be a fine looking and well-reviewed resort. Somewhere to enjoy for a few days at the end of a long work trip in Asia. Initial doubts over it not being directly adjacent to the main Lamai beach were quickly banished. In fact, after my one visit to Lamai beach, the southern end of which is about a 15 minute walk from Rocky’s, I was only too pleased to return to the peace and tranquillity of the hotel. I stayed in one of the rooms overlooking the garden pool. The room was amazing: huge, beautifully appointed with great balcony/terrace, and a huge bathroom. Within 30 seconds you are swimming in the garden pool, or within a leisurely couple of minutes, can be swimming in the sea or the hotel pool next the beach. The beach itself is small, yes, but it’s right next the hotel pool, and feels safer and less steeply-shelving than nearby Lamai, and is pretty much for the exclusive use of Rocky’s residents. There is a great beach-bar by the pool and the whole place feels just the right size. There is an old offshore reef you can kayak to at low tide, and have a swim off there. The water is a little clearer and stays waist to chest deep for some way. But if you go out there, make sure you wear some sort of footwear as the coral is sharp at that spot. The headland makes the cove calmer during higher winds than at Lamai. The water at all the beaches the week I was there was not so clear but there were a lot of storms so that tends to churn things up a bit. Brilliant, attentive and helpful staff throughout. Food was excellent, even if some dishes and drinks seem a little overpriced. The setting, location and high quality accommodation more than compensated. Plus, you could order food up to quite late, and always someone at the bar to serve you a drink well into the night. For a change of dining scene there are a number of really good restaurants very nearby. Scooter hire is pricier than in town (relatively speaking) but there’s a certain peace of mind knowing you’re booking through the hotel. Even with its Lonely Planet approval, Rocky’s is an understated gem of a hotel/resort on this island.

Buon hotel posizionato direttamente sulla piu bella spiaggia di Ko Samui, a Chaweng Noi. Il ristorante offre piatti thai ma anche piatti italiani. Abbiamo usufruito del ristorante sia a colazione, che a pranzo e a cena. Tutto buono e preparato con cura. Camera deluxe con vista mare non grandissima ma confortevole. Staff molto gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo usufruito del servizio taxi interno all’hotel, molto comodo! Ottima scelta a Ko Samui!
