Stayed for 3 nights with family in December and found the Thanya and Koh Ngai to be everything we hoped for and more. The island is stunning - this is proper paradise off the beaten track and away from the masses. The beach is breathtaking with clear blue waters and a thriving reef right outside the hotel. The accommodation is really basic and this is where the Thanya loses a star because we found it really difficult to sleep as a result. Every single noise outside from nature to other guests sounds like it is in your room. We were woken 2-3 times every night unfortunately. Then as soon as the sun starts to rise the room is bathed in sunlight. Beyond that though the Thanya is charming. The pool is great, the staff are lovely, the breakfast is perfectly adequate. We will be back and we will stay for longer (we’ll just bring ear plugs and eye masks next time).

Just wonderful. Outstandingly beautiful location. We loved: The welcome from our longtail and help from the staff to take our luggage to shore. Free kayaks and snorkel gear...and water! Spacious bathrooms Interesting wildlife including tucans...hermit crabs...lizards Dive man!!! Took our 11 year old for first dive Fabulous chef...utterly wonderful food. First class Great waiters Comfy beds Child friendly and felt safe

Spędziliśmy kilka dni mieszkając w pokoju typu superior. Pokoje superior położone są na lekkim wzniesieniu, ale warto zrobić kilka krokòw pod gòrę, ponieważ dają więcej prywatności niż te w dolnej części (nawet te o wyższym standardzie) i mają lepszy widok (poza najdroższymi willami). Sam domek miał już trochę lat, ale był przestronny i czysty. Na minus dosyć głośny klimatyzator na tarasie. Śniadania bez rewelacji, ale to raczej standard w tajskich hotelach. Natomiast potrawy z karty bardzo smaczne. Położenie oczywiście rewelacyjne. Koh Ngai jest kameralną, piękną rajską wyspą. Zrobiła na mnie największe wrażenie z odwiedzonych do tej pory miejsc w Tajlandii. Warto spędzić tam kilka dni odcinając się od cywilizacji. Ceny na Koh Ngai wysokie (jak na Tajlandię), ale wiadomo - im mniejsza wyspa tym drożej:)
