La posizione è magnifica, proprio nel centro di Kathmandu, a piedi da Tamel. Altre interessanti segnali sono facilmente raggiungibili con i taxi ausiliari (sempre presenti al di fuori delle porte). Il personale dell'hotel è molto gentile, sincero impegno in conversazione e utile per fornire informazioni turistiche. Le camere sono costose e decorate caldamente. L'hotel dispone di un bel giardino adatto per una passeggiata rilassante. La piscina è bello e molto pulito! Raccomando molto questo hotel sopra altri hotel a Kathmandu. Stai qui per 9 notti, amava il servizio e le camere sonore. Il pranzo e la colazione erano sorprendenti e la posizione dell'hotel è parte del centro Chaya che ha un sorprendente luogo di caffè chiamato Arabica caffè!! Una volta che abbiamo raccolto i nostri berretti intorno a Tamel, gli shopping e i ristoranti esterni sono molto facili da camminare e godere. Quando usiamo i taxi abbiamo risparmiato così tanto scaricare Pathao così non abbiamo dovuto negoziare il prezzo e diventare sovraccaricati. Molto consiglia Aloft a Kathmandu e sono grandi ambasciatori del nome e del marchio Marriott!

THIS is a quality hotel from its spectacular rooftop bar and swimming pool right down to its graceful foyer and reception area. Facilities are only part of the story and the Mulberry's friendly and helpful staff are what turns a good hotel into a great hotel. They were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble for them from the moment I arrived tired after more than twenty hours of travel to the moment I left to explore other parts of Nepal. At the core of relaxation was my lovely comfortable room with a huge double bed, good storage, a room safe and a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower. Hot water at a good pressure was always available. The breakfast area offered a chance to eat either outside at tables near a little garden or inside at tables where attentive staff swiftly brought me a pot of chi. If you wanted omelettes or eggs then they were prepared freshly to order at a small outside cooking point. Inside guests could choose from a whole range of foods from fruit and meats to cereals, toast, jams, marmalades, yoghurts, fruit juices, Nepalese and international breakfast dishes. The choice was extensive. There is also a full quality restaurant for those who would like to savour an evening meal at the hotel. There were so many nice touches to underline a top class stay. For instance, I had bought a number of presents and souvenirs that I didn't really want to carry round with me for nearly a week to three other destinations. Not a problem, said the Mulberry, who agreed to store them all until my return to the hotel for my last night in Nepal. This they did and everything was safe and ready for me to pack away when I returned. The Mulberry is also sited in a great position to explore the city's Thamel area which can be viewed in all its glittering night-time glory from the rooftop bar area. I was able to enjoy the view and a leisurely local beer yet within ten minutes I could walk into the centre to get a good meal at a variety of tasty restaurants before leaving to enjoy the late night delights of the Purple Haze rock bar knowing my room was close by when I wanted to sleep. It was the sort of perfect hotel and stay that travellers dream about and if I come back to Nepal there is only one place I will stay and it will be the Mulberry. Wonderful hotel.

Hotel is in good location, staff was friendly who checked in us. I loved the room as they were quit big and comfortable, had an air conditioning in the room too. Shower facilities was good but could be better, plus point hot shower was available and bonus bath tub was available as well. Kettle was provided to us with drinking water, could be better if tea and coffee was available but staff was superb as they provided us with tea and coffee on request. Overall, it was excellent for me, in comparison to price, room sizes, location and friendliness of the staff. I even recommended my friend to stay as I was there.

This was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had, and it was because of the staff — namely, a young man named Rabin at the front desk. He provided a really welcoming feeling to the place — so much so that I thought he was the owner, because the sort of hospitality he provided usually only comes from those who own a hotel and have a vested interest in making sure the guests have a pleasant stay. I’m not sure if that guy ever goes home. I saw him there at 7 in the morning, I saw him there at 10 at night. It seemed like he pretty much did everything at the hotel, from answering phones to checking in guests to serving breakfast. And more than anything else, I really appreciated his willingness to just have a chat about the city and the country. Coming to a new place can be a bit confusing, and he was more than happy to help explain things or talk about what life is like for people in Nepal. It didn’t feel like one of those generic corporate hotels where the staff is coldly friendly in the sense of “Yes sir, whatever you want, sir.” It felt like he treated guests like actual family members. I saw him walking around and chatting with everyone at breakfast and doing whatever he could to make sure their time in Nepal was great. You didn’t have to approach him to ask a question, either. He’d ask if you had plans for the day, how your day went, and so on. As for the property itself, it was nice — and absolutely spotless. I saw two women cleaning the place constantly. I even watched one of them dusting the leaves on a plant in the lobby. My room had no dust and no dirt whatsoever. Yes, the hotel has no elevator, but that wasn’t an issue at all. There are people around who are very experienced at carrying luggage up and down the steps — and yes I tipped, though it’s worth noting that the guy who carried my bag to my room started to leave before I gave him one, as though he wasn’t expecting it. The breakfast is good, and cooked to order in a little kitchen next to the lobby. It’s not a buffet or a “continental breakfast”: you tell them what you want, and they make it! The location is nice as well — it’s right in the Thamel area, which is the main tourist section of Kathmandu. Everything you’ll want from shops to restaurants to grocery stores are within walking distance, and there’s taxis parked around the streets nearby. The street the hotel is on is also pretty quiet, as it’s a couple of blocks from the busier road. But I’m sure many hotels in the area are comparable. The difference with this one is Rabin, and I can’t thank him enough. Like I said, you typically only find this degree of hospitality from owners of hotels, and he’s the reason I’m giving this place such a positive review.

Dopo aver completato l'esercizio di Annapna, siamo tornati a Gard'Ann, trovando l'hotel Jay come l'ultima stazione del viaggio. La stanza dell'hotel è molto pulita e comoda. È un buon ambiente di alloggio fuori dalla finestra.La colazione inglese è ricco e può mangiare molto dolce! Rabindra Thapa, Assistente Manager, è molto amichevole, il nostro inglese non è fluido, ma il personale dell'hotel è molto gentile, paziente e in contatto con noi, fornendo camere appropriate. Dopo aver lasciato la stanza, aspettando l'ora del volo, il personale dell'hotel aiuta a mantenere il bagaglio e a ospitarlo con gentilezza. Si sente molto bene, è un hotel molto amichevole.
