Karlsruhe: hotel a 2 stelle

Hotel della catena B&B Hotels che ben conosciamo grazie alle esperienze positive avute in Francia, Italia e Germania, comodamente situato a breve distanza dall’ingresso sud della stazione centrale di Karlsruhe. Prenotato tramite il sito internet di B&B al costo di 78€ per una notte, due persone, colazione esclusa, posso dire che si è trattato di un ottimo soggiorno. Probabilmente il prezzo è stato un po’ oltre alla media ma, la presenza dell’ampio parcheggio gratuito in garage, collegato direttamente alla struttura tramite ascensore, è stato perfetto e ci ha permesso di girare la città anche il mattino successivo, solo questo vale un voto massimo. La camera è la classica di questo tipo di albergo (qui era presente anche un terzo letto) con bagno (dotato anche di phon) Wi-Fi, aria condizionata e, dietro al letto, una riproduzione della particolare mappa cittadina a ventaglio. Come in tutti gli alberghi della catena però, la mancanza un piccolo frigorifero è la cosa che più si fa sentire e, almeno per mio modo di vedere la stanza, aggiungerlo cambierebbe molto. In ogni caso, il gentile personale dell’albergo si è mostrato disponibile a mettere in fresco dei ghiaccioli, utili per trasportare qualcosa nella nostra borsa frigo. Grazie alla vicinanza alla stazione, basta percorrere il lungo passaggio che dall’ingresso sud porta all’ingresso principale per trovare diversi tram comodissimi per il centro città oltre a treni diretti nelle vicinanze o anche oltre e, ancora più in periodo di 9-Euro Ticket, questo è stato veramente perfetto. Un ottimo albergo, comodo, silenzioso, ben gestito, sicuramente sarebbe la prima scelta per un nuovo soggiorno a Karlsruhe.

Good location if travelling by train. We had a good sized room with a large bathroom. We did need to open the windows to get as much fresh air as we liked and, being next to the Hauptbahnhof, it can be noisy (but absolutely silent with the windows closed). As usual with the Ibis chain it was clean, efficient, and practical. Prices very considerably depending how busy they are. We paid an average of 1200euro per night for 1 room / 2 people, which I think was ok value, but on our last night they were asking 190 euros for guests who had not booked in advance, and in my view that was high for the quality of hotel (but then it's a matter of supply and demand) Our only criticism is that the chambermaids did not come into our room, even to empty the bins - which we raised with reception (presumably this would have been sorted out if we had been staying longer)

What a pleasant surprise. The room size was adequate for a couple. The bathroom was clean and had a good shower. Then you go down for breakfast and WOW! Great variety of food on offer and fresh coffee on the table. The thought down to the last detail, just fantastic. Great job by the restaurant staff. Thank you.

Incredibilmente sporco, personale inamichevole e hotel senza atmosfera. Non costoso, ma troppo costoso per quello che è stato richiesto. Non pulito. Capelli nel bagno di doccia, muffa, asciugamani inodore e il shappo e sapone più economico che sembrava trovare. Un aria condizionata troppo rumorosa che non si raffreddava e abbiamo avuto entrambi problemi di prurito tutta la notte. L'ispezione di notte è andata incredibilmente lenta. Ci sono stati due ospiti e il loro processo di check-in durò più di mezz'ora. Tutto sbaglio insensata. Quando ho informato se c'era qualcosa, non c'era alcuna risposta imprudente; nessuna spiegazione e l'ospite fu detto che ero un ”@&€&&&” che doveva aspettare a sua volta. Quando alla fine sono tornato, il ricevitore disgustoso ha negato di averlo detto e sapeva anche dire che tutto non era un suo problema, e poi mi è stato detto che c'era un problema con il processo di automatizzazione. Tuttavia, l'altro funzionario (che è venuto più tardi) poteva accedere a noi in tre minuti ... NUOVO. Bah, che esperienza noiosa.
