Great duvet for a cheap hostel. Service and facilities here are the same as they with Onederz, which is top-notch for a value hostel. 

Clean and safe

The staff were extremely helpful and the pool area was great. Dorms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The restaurant was also great!

I have stayed here many times and its never disappointing. The staff here were very on things, the food was great and the ppol was as it always is well looked after. Only negative was there was some building work being done, but in fairness it has to be done at some time. I will stay here again as there really is no other hotel that can match the value. Keep in mind it was 20 percent more to book on trip than it was on *********** and they do take cards if that is your issue.

Great location, pool area clean and chilled out place food and drink good prices. Rooms clean and tidy.

The staff with attitude i want to book 2 rooms for2 bed each for khmer new years.at first they said per room allowed 3 people in out of nowhere they mention about their policy 1 rooms that has 2bed allow 2 people only they charge extra 2$ per person. i been many hotel guest house never have this kind of problem. I when to different hotel it call Vibola guest house nice pool nice room cost me 20$ each room for 2 bed. allowed 4 people each room .

I've lived in Cambodia, the Philippines and Thailand for a combined 18 years, and have travelled extensively throughout the region ... but last week I had the worst service I've received in all that time. Looking for a place to stay in Kampot, I thought I'd go for a swim and eat at the Onederz Hostel before I booked a room. I sat at a table, and waited and waited for a waitress to come to me, but they were too busy chatting to each other behind the bar. Finally I caught the eye of one, and mouthed the word, "Menu?" She then pointed to a pile of menus on the bar in front of her, and told me to "come and get one myself!" So I went to the bar, and took a menu back to my table. Then having decided what I wanted to eat, I signalled to the girl to come and take my order. But she remained behind the bar, and told me to come to her! So I went to place my order where she told me I must pay in advance! She finally brought the food to my table where I told her I was disappointed with the attitude of her hostel staff. And she replied ... "IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT ... LEAVE!!!"

Really nice hostel but don’t trust the laundry service with whites! My friends all got stained with random colours, and they were very difficult when it came to asking for a reclean and partial refund. Apart from that it’s a great pool and clean facilities

I went to Onederz because I had heard they had a nice pool and the food was good. Nothing could be further from the truth. Since I already had a place to stay I thought it would be a great idea to go there for a swim and have some breakfast. I was told it was $5 to swim, which I thought was a little high considering it was a backpacker venue. After arriving I ordered my breakfast, (bacon+eggs) $3:50, which I thought was average, and an ice Cafe, $1:75, which is not average, but acceptable. There were only a few sunbeds, and half of them were missing umbrellas, or broken. There was no shade around the pool so I went in for a swim, and after a lengthy wait my breakfast arrived, but completely cold. I had to say something, and made it clear I wasn't going to eat cold eggs and bacon. So I waited another length of time, finally got my breakfast and ate. As I was going to leave I went to pay, and was told the price now was $8 for the pool, or $50 per month. Since my bill was much less than $8, (it was $5:25) I explained that I heard it was $5, to which they replied, "yes, but we changed it." No notice, no information posted anywhere. I explained I didn't know and they told if I come back it's $8. Not a great experience, the pool is filled with kids and backpackers who stay there. I was told by some backpackers who stay there that a single Aircon room is $20 up, and the dorms are $7 up. All in all a greedy place with incompetent staff.
