La signora pulizia della stanza molto attentamente e buono. La stanza è sempre pulita e tempestiva. La stanza di lavanderia ha 5 lavastoviglie e 5 asciugamani - mi piaceva. Situazione vicino al metro, ma non molti negozi. Tuttavia, devo solo camminare per meno di 10 minuti per raggiungere negozi e ristorante.

UUtente ospiteI booked the Jimu Suite, which was a corner room (with a separate sitting room) located on the hotel’s 6th floor. The room was generally comfortable, although the A/C did not always work very well (it could take time to get the room to cool down on warm days). There was no safe in the room, but the minibar was well-stocked (and everything was included). The bathroom, though a bit dark, was well-equipped. They provided a robot-delivered room service, which proved quite convenient if you wanted to order from the room. The breakfast was also very good. The hotel, with its unmistakable multicolored facade, is ideally located in the city center of Jinan (within walking distance of the famous Daming Lake).

EEvoFunkHonest Review of The Madison Hotel, Jinan – Good but Not 4-Star Standard According to Trip.com’s grading system, The Madison Hotel is listed as a Trip Plus 4-star hotel, but based on our recent stay, we believe it falls short of that rating. While we had a mostly pleasant experience, there were noticeable issues that prevent us from agreeing with the 4-star classification. The Positives - Check-in & Staff: The reception team was friendly, and one staff member could communicate a little in English, which was helpful. - Room Comfort: Our room was spacious and nicely decorated, with a very comfortable bed. The air conditioning worked well and allowed individual adjustment. - Amenities: We appreciated the complimentary bottled waters and two soft drinks restocked daily in the fridge. - Location: The hotel is conveniently located inside Wanda Mall, making shopping and dining easily accessible. The Negatives (Why It’s Not 4-Star) - Cleanliness Issues: The room wasn’t cleaned to a 4-star (or even 3-star) standard. We found nail clippings on the bedside mat, indicating poor vacuuming. - Shower Water Pressure: The water pressure in the shower was quite low, which was inconvenient. - Breakfast Limitations: While the Asian food options were good, there were very few Western choices. Additionally, the Western cutlery felt sticky and wasn’t properly cleaned. - Staff Sleeping at Reception: On our second morning, when we tried to check out early, the reception staff were asleep on the couches. We understand they may have been exhausted, but this is unprofessional for a 4-star hotel. Final Verdict The Madison Hotel is a decent option, but we’d rate it as a solid 3-star hotel, not 4-star. If you prioritize location and comfort over luxury service and cleanliness, it’s a reasonable choice. However, management should address housekeeping and staff training to meet higher standards. MMasalHKRooms: Good size room, 6/F partly refurbished (especially electrics, carpets), 4/F not done. They have an executive lounge but it is just a lounge, no benefits that you get in other hotels. Facilities: 2/F has pool tables, table tennis, card/mahjong rooms, gym; Floor B1 has a huge pool. All quite busy as they allow members of the public to pay to use. Breakfast: Good, some western options. RMB40/pax at hotel. Location: Perfect. easy walk to Daming Lake, Kuanhouli, Black Tiger Spring, shops. It is on the route of the Tourist shuttle bus which costs RMB5/day and goes to all the main sites. Frequent at weekends, less so weekdays. Restaurants: Lots around hotel. South to malls on Quancheng Road where there are lots of all you can eat hotpot and BBQ. Also south to Kuanhouli, the snack street and some good restaurants (Huixian Floor Restaurant). North is the famous Shandong restaurant: Kui Sheng Ju. There was always a queue so we went to a similar restaurant across the street from it. Also next to it is the Jia Chuan Min Guangzhou restaurant which is excellent. Service: We had a problem with the shower on 6/F as water pressure was very low or just cut out altogether. Initially we asked the front desk staff to sort it out but not much happened. Then asked the duty manager and he was very helpful and moved us to a suite on the 4/F. So if you have a problem, make sure you ask for some one in authority and the service will be excellent. Language: Mandarin only Will defintely consider again if we return to Jinan.

UUtente ospiteI was overall very satisfied with my stay, giving the price it’s definitely worth it. The staff was nice, friendly and helpful. The bedroom was kept clean (at least in the women’s section), also it was a no shoes hostel, so you were provided with indoor slippers. You get a locker for your things and also a level of privacy because of the curtains around the bed. The shared spaces are also nice, you have a really nice view over the city, lake etc. you can train, play billiard etc. I extended my stay with 3 days, very nice.
