Out of all the five star hotels I could have stayed in this was the one that I chose. The hotel itself is located perfectly. The staff pleasant until it came to pay my bill. As a result of my having a sleepless night my first night as a result of some fan problem in my bathroom they suggested I move my room despite me saying that I would move hotels if they could give me earplugs. They offered me use of an executive lounge that I didn’t want and chose to give me another room. The second room was actually a room adjoined to another room which had a couple in it that might as well have been in my room. I asked to move again. They then said they would give me an upgrade which I didn’t want as I had thought that a five star hotel would at least reimburse at least one of the nights. They gave me an upgrade which was nice. I had packed up twice in my four day stay and had three different rooms. The last night the electricity blew in my room so I was in total darkness at ten at night and had to wait for the maintenance to come and fix my problem. I received my bill with the money for four nights automatically deducted. When I went to ask I was met by a very rude man at reception who plainly said ‘this is the money you need to pay’. No manners. No interest. No conversation. I would not recommend this hotel as it shows it is all about the money and nothing to do with client satisfaction or service. Disappointing.

The David Citadel hotel as far as proximity to the Old City, is perfect. Whether you pay for the terrace or a balcony, your views will be great! The beddings and pillows were soft and clean. The cleaning crew and everyone else was extremely nice and polite and tried to help with any questions we had. The breakfast which lasts from 6 am until 11 am has a large variety of delicious foods for any kind of liking. The omelettes are done by Yevgeni which are one of the best omelettes one sn ask for. We will definitely come back to this hotel when we come to visit Israel again.

Tutto è ad alto livello. Abbiamo chiesto alcune piccole cose in camera, erano gratuite. C'è un parcheggio economico, 15 dollari al giorno. Abbiamo preso una camera Grand Deluxe era spaziosa con un balcone e un ampio bagno. Colazione ottimi succhi vino cibo, servizio camerieri. Siamo andati a cena al ristorante di carne dell'hotel, dove abbiamo dovuto aspettare per entrare, poi abbiamo aspettato a lungo l'ordinazione ei prezzi erano alti.

E’ stato tutto incredibile. Ci siamo sentiti coccolati come una reggia d’altri tempi. Cibo curato nei minimi dettagli e camerieri professionisti che hanno servito prima di noi, presidenti da ogni dove. il giardino profuma di rose e dalla finesta entra un arietta magica mente la vista della citta’ vecchia abbaglia la mente. La sera ci hanno portato vino e cioccolatini delizioni in camera e il direttore ci ha fatto un tour storico del posto. Consiglio a tutti di vivere questa esperienza unica. La sera si sentono le campane del YMCA (nella foto) suonare melodie che rendono l’atmosfera ancora piu’ speciale.

This is my wife and I’s third stay at 7 Arches, even though the remodeling of the hotel and grounds has been in progress for quite some we love it here, the view of the Old City and the Temple Mount is spectacular! The staff is very helpful, the rooms are clean, the air conditioning is great, the dining hall serves very good food! Our favorite time of day is in the late evening when the myriads of mosques announce the call to prayer, from the Old City to Bethany, for non-Muslims we enjoy it… We have no complaints!

L'hotel era inserito in un tour niente di eccezionale comunque pulito, comoda la doccia molto ampia, zanzariere alla finestra che non guastano mai. Anche in questo hotel il problema è il piumone che nel mio caso è sempre corto e ti lascia scoperto 30 cm di spalle, sembra che sia una caratteristica qui in Israele e io non sono alto 1,87 cm quini non un gigante. La comodità di questo hotel è di essere a poche centinaia di metri dalla porta di Damasco, quartiere mussulmano e quindi si può accedere facilmente alla città vecchia ed in una ventina di minuti non di più sei già al muro del pianto. Non è neanche lontano dalla new gate e quindi dall'ingresso del quartiere cristiano ortodosso

O my God... where do I begin?... The hospitality & love the staff shows is apart from anything I've experienced in Jerusalem! It is the.most moderately priced hotel (yay for that!), but the breakfast you get is nutritious & vast enough, the mint teas or coffees you can pour yourself throughout the day are a very special touch, and if you need a pick-me up lunch or dinner they make that available to you, too, with no hassle just love, and it's delicious! They renovated the 3rd floor, which is really special with marble floors, a big TV screens and very nice rooms! Lower floors are less expensive & modest, but they're all you need when you're on a pilgrammage, and was perfect for me! Also... this is the clincher: you begin the Walk of Jesus from this very point to the Garden of Gethsemane along Palm Sunday Road, then through Lion's Gate and Via Dolorosa to the very, very Church of the Holy Sepulchre! And this, you must walk for the full experience or you're seriously short-changing yourself! - Which means, you should be based at this hotel! The best upscale & quaint restaurant & cafe is right beside the Hotel and everyone says they ate the ery best shewarma of their lives here! Also... another clincher: the Mount of Olives Hotel is right beside the Ascension rock from whence Jesus ascended! A must visit! Orthodox churches & monasteries are all around the Hotel so again, a perfect choice for Orthodox Christians, and remember, you can walk to Old Town Jerusalem from here or take a local bus! And you have the best wide angle view of Jerusalem from the Lookout Point, overlooking the Dome of the Rock & the Golden Gate! And on a personal note: someone stole my iPhone from the OldCity, so I had to ask staffers umpteen times to use their mobile phones for whatsapp communications with my security advisor, and they were always obliging, understanding patient & compassionate! Albergo-ristorante ubitato a 100 metri da Porta di Damasco e alla stazione degli autobus. Facilmente raggiungibile con mezzi pubblici. Si tratta di una struttura tipica (non è moderna per intenderci) in stile arabo. Camera di dimensioni adeguate, pulita e bagno con doccia. Nonostante si affacciasse sulla strada la notte è stata tranquilla. Ottima la colazione soprattutto per quanto riguarda il salato. Disponibili ad anticipare l'orario. Abbiamo usifruito per due volte del ristorante, vengono offerti piatti classici della cucina israeliana (hummus e falafel) ma anche buone alternative ad prezzo corretto. Segnalo l'estrema cortesia di tutto il personale dai camerieri di sala, alle persone alla reception e un plauso speciale alla sigra che parlava anche un discreto italiano molto gentile (con omaggio alla fine del soggiorno). Questa è una casa di ospiti, quindi è di base, ma buona. Tutto è pulito. Il personale è molto utile. Le camere sono semplici e la nostra camera ha un frigo. Situata vicino alla vecchia città che può facilmente camminare. Molto vicino al troll e un autobus guida per la porta. Il colazione ha un paio di articoli caldi, uno dei quali cambia di tanto in tanto. Molte selezioni fredde, frutta, succo e pita. Molto adeguato per iniziare il giorno.
