When you enter the building, the hotel itself is actually located on the third floor. So you need to find the the elevator and go up. Previously I already requested to do early check in at 01.00 PM via booking.com and fortunately the room was ready and I was able to put all my stuff and hopefully enjoy my two nights stay there. I was given a vitamin C and a mask when I checked in, and when I turned on the TV in the room, it showed how the hotel tried to maintain the cleanliness during Covid 19 by doing disinfection, etc. I chose Whizz Prime Kelapa Gading because it is located across MOI and it has a swimming pool. I want to spend my staycation by swimming in the hotel, at least that's what I thought. When I was swimming, the pool staff approached me and told me that since I was not wearing a proper swimsuit, I was actually not allowed to swim there, for your information, I was wearing a hijab and it was impossible for me to wear a swimsuit, the staff even suggested me to take off my hijab which of course I said no. The next thing I know that the security approached me and telling me quite the same thing, because I was not wearing a proper swimsuit, I was not allowed to swim there. I noticed that the other guests who were also at the pool were staring at me and I felt humiliated. That's it. I got out of the swimming pool and heading to the receptionist and complained. I was assisted by mbak Sarah and she told me there should be no problem if I want to swim and she will talk to the swimming pool staff. When she returned, she told me to sit by the pool and she would talk to the GM. I was already angered by the situation and I chose to go back to the my room and write a complaint in the contact us section of the hotel website. And I decided to go back to the swimming pool and took a picture of the swimming pool. That's when Sarah approached me again, and apologized and make sure that I can swim in the swimming pool with the approval of the GM. I still don't get it, why did the pool staff and the security treated me like that, even need approval from GM, for a lady who wore hijab, to be able to swim at the hotel, while I was the guest and I paid for the room including the facilities? At the end, the manager talked to me and I apologized, ok, I accept the apology but I am already disappointed and cried. I felt horrible. I decided to check out early and ask for a refund. I am now waiting for a refund.

Ho prenotato questo hotel con mia moglie per il nostro viaggio d'affari. Era una grande esperienza, un grande cibo, una grande stanza. Vorrei ringraziarvi molto al personale FO che ci ha permesso di effettuare un check-in un po' precoce (circa 12.44 - 13.00). Siamo arrivati presto e avremo una riunione online alle 1 pm. Ho provato la nostra fortuna a controllare presto, e è successo. Un'altra volta, grazie per il personale di FO durante il turno quando ho controllato. Mi dispiace, non ricordo il nome, ma lei (la signora con hijab) era molto accogliente.Grandi cibi durante il colazione, ma la squadra di servizio deve essere più lieto. Un po' rumoroso in camera (penso sia stato a causa di un progetto che si verifica nello stesso edificio) In generale, continuerò a raccomandare questo hotel come prima scelta di soggiornare nella zona di Kelapa Gading. Grazie.

Stayed there several times. The location is convenient. The room tariff is reasonable. Both the cleanliness and hygiene standards are high. Only drawback is the room is somewhat dated with occasional water leaks from the air conditioner. The breakfast buffet can be further improved with better quality coffee. On balance, it is worth another return stay for my next trip.

I’ve been here almost half of years visiting Jakarta for business purposes. Amongst the rest hotel in Kelapa Gading area, 101 Urban Kelapa Gading is the best place to stay in ! Beside, the restaurant in the lobby hotel service was greats! Thanks to the waiter Pak Agus and Waitress Buk Tika for the service given throughout time I'm having meals. Not forget the food really superb tasty ! Thank you 101 😊👍
