I recently stayed at Kingwood boutique hotel for one night and had an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and professional. The check-in process was smooth, and I was impressed by the warm hospitality.
The room was clean, and suitable for budget business trip. The housekeeping team did an excellent job maintaining cleanliness throughout my stay.
Location-wise, the hotel was perfect, with easy access to any shopping center.
Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Miri.

The best place to stay in Miri. Definitely no doubt about it. The standard room type was clean with a panoramic view, facing the south China Sea. The bathroom showers very good and so powerful. The bed was soft and clean. Except for the pillows. I should have changed to a soft one.
However, the morning breakfast was superbly delicious and we enjoy it every moment especially the nasi goreng.

Staying for 3 days and 2 nights at the hotel. Everything is good especially the room due to the deluxe room being full & upgraded to a premier room 😍😊
But the bad thing is, the receptionist is kinda gloomy & unwilling to solve the problem. On the first night staying, i still didn't sleep & forgot to lock the door. Luckily the door guard is intact, and i heard someone trying to open the door. The next morning, I requested to see CCTV footage to know who the one opening our door room was. But the receptionist said, ”oh we wrongly gave the room key last night to the guest”.. that's not the answer to what we want.. that means the hotel is not secure at all for a guest to stay.
On the 2nd day, i already set the button for the make up room, but no housekeeping doing make up room after back from Bazaar Gawai late night.. and i ask the receptionist and they answer ”Oh, we fully book & need to clean the room ASAP & didn't do make up room” 😅 is that an excuse not to do make up room??
All the time I'm going to the receptionist, the same receptionist is not smiling at all 😅😅
For the facility, everything is good but no phone in the room 🤣 so it's hard to reach reception or housekeeping.

È un hotel decente situato vicino all'aeroporto. *************. Quando siamo arrivati, potremmo già vedere l'hotel dalla pista. Forniscono un servizio di navetta eccellente tra l'aeroporto e l'hotel. Ci piaceva che fosse così vicino all'aeroporto, che nostra figlia ci univa solo dopo l'atterraggio a mezzanotte, che il personale era amichevole e cortese, e che ci piaceva anche il lavanderia che avevano fornito. E'di grande complimento se portate il vostro detergente. Altrimenti, potete comprare il detergente dalla macchina di vendita. Il colazione era un buffet e un semi-buffet. La sauna e la piscina infinita erano molto invitanti, ma non abbiamo avuto tempo di provarli. È troppo cattivo.

The hotel has a great location — it’s conveniently surrounded by many eateries, making it easy to grab food at any time. The room itself is quite spacious, which was a pleasant surprise.
However, the overall maintenance of the hotel needs serious improvement. The main carpet in the hallway had a strong unpleasant smell, and the windows looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Inside the room, both the floor and bathroom were noticeably dirty, which affected our comfort during the stay.
With better cleanliness and upkeep, this place has the potential to be much better.

The hotel is located at a convenient location, at the center of Miri city. We got the street view room which comes with some problems. It can become noisy at night as the road in-front is very busy. On the first night I could not really can a good sleep due to the noise but subsequent nights I used ear plugs which solves all the problem.
The hotel provides free parking to it's guests, there are only about 10 open-air car lots in-front of the hotel if there are no available slots the staff allowed us to park beside the building. There is a cafe right beside the lobby of the hotel and many restaurants within walking distance around the hotel. It is not recommended to park outside the hotel building zone as you might get fined.
Wifi was bad at the level that I was staying at, my mobile data has better connection haha. The room was really spacious and the TV has hdmi plug so we just played our own media in it. Overall it was a good experience given the price per night.

There’s old and new wing to the hotel. The new wing reception is nearer to Starbucks which is in a mall.
I stayed at the old wing and I think it’s more convenient.

SSariy RezzaLa nostra stanza era eccellente, la posizione era grande, le strutture erano buone e il servizio era molto soddisfacente.
L'unica cosa che ha bisogno di migliorare è lo spazio di parcheggio, che era un po' limitato.
Oltre a questo, tutto era perfetto!

KKenyalangThank you to the front desk staffs. They were very helpful, professional with high working spirit. Hotel location is perfect. You can’t get lost anywhere in Miri because it is not only centrally located and the hotel can be seen at every angle you go. Beddings were great but only lack of amenities for the bathroom. Although it was a holiday season (Gawai) that time everyone tried their best to make everyone staying at the hotel as comfortable as possible. Thumbs up for them. Breakfast was ok. Just wish there were more varieties of bread and fresh vegetables at the salad corner. Other than that it was an awesome stay for us. Thank you.

Aazz412Checked in at 4pm but the rooms was not ready, thus i got a free upgrade to the next category room. Ocean view room offers a majestic view. The room was clean and spotless and no noise can be heard from outside. Bath tub overlooking the ocean. The only downfall is there is no carpet thus the floor can be cold when u walk barefoot.

JjanaLocation is unbeatable. The only problem during my stay was the bathroom sink was partially clogged. It took quite a while for the water to go down. I ended up brushing my teeth and washing my face in the shower cubicle. I did not call the hotel staff as it was only one night.

UUtente anonimoThe location is strategic and it is walkable. Lots of restaurants nearby and even there is the hotel's restaurant. The foods are delicious 😋 Next time, i will come to this hotel again! I hope the hotels can be improved again especially the smell of the toilet, a bit smell fishy but still durable !

Set back is the Hotel WiFi in room drop-off frequently (very unstable).. Check with Front Desk.. inform that WiFi under maintenance and servicing but didn’t see any workers around..
Book and confirm with 2 nights stay at this Hotel but abandon the 2nd night and move to nearby newly opened Hotel..
