Ostelli a Il Cairo

L'ostello è un gradito rifugio dal caos del Cairo. Da notare che si sviluppa su due piani, il primo e il quarto, ma sono collegati da un ascensore d'epoca e da una tromba delle scale. La colazione servita ogni giorno è stata sinceramente apprezzata e deliziosa, preparata al momento per ogni ospite. I letti sono comodi e dotati di una piccola luce e di una presa di corrente per ricaricare i dispositivi. C'è un'area comune dove trascorrere del tempo con gli altri ospiti e fare nuove conoscenze. Alcuni sanitari dei bagni sono rotti, ma ve la caverete bene.

È vicino al centro del Cairo e la zona circostante è tranquilla, il che è piacevole. Il personale è molto cordiale e le camere sono pulite. È possibile preparare pasti semplici in cucina e c'è una piscina. L'unico inconveniente è che molti ospiti cinesi sono maleducati e rumorosi. A parte il quartiere, questo ostello offre servizi eccellenti.

La posizione è in centro città, vicino al Museo Egizio. Numerosi servizi sono raggiungibili in 10 minuti a piedi. Il famoso Koshary Abu Tarek è raggiungibile in 6 minuti a piedi. Le camere sono ben tenute. Il personale della reception è disponibile 24 ore su 24, 7 giorni su 7. Sono ammessi ospiti di tutte le età e nazionalità. Suggerimento per il miglioramento: 1. Gli asciugamani devono essere forniti al momento del check-in e non su richiesta. 2. L'ascensore dovrebbe essere migliorato, perché mi è capitato più volte di rimanere bloccato all'interno a causa di un blackout. E spesso l'ascensore non funzionava perché la porta non era chiusa correttamente. Si prega di notare che l'ascensore non è gestito dal vostro ostello. Si prega di richiederlo al proprietario dell'edificio, poiché non è accettabile. 3. Si consiglia di installare un sistema di aria condizionata centralizzato. Chiunque può spegnere il condizionatore, disturbando gli altri.

Situato nella Città Vecchia del Cairo, molto vicino al museo (a pochi passi di distanza), l'hotel è ospitato in un edificio antico che mi ha ricordato il mio periodo a Wuhan. La pesante testiera in legno e i pavimenti in legno scricchiolanti creavano un'atmosfera piacevole. Il personale era incredibilmente accogliente. Il bancone era piccolo, coperto di monete provenienti da vari paesi; si potevano cambiare dollari statunitensi in sterline egiziane utilizzando il tasso di cambio online, il che era piuttosto comodo. L'edificio è piuttosto alto e l'ascensore era un po' problematico: aveva una porta scorrevole all'esterno e una porta a soffietto all'interno che sbatteva rumorosamente. C'era un gruppo di gatti magri e timidi nel corridoio. La colazione è stata servita, ma non mi è piaciuta molto. In breve, se non siete troppo esigenti in fatto di alloggi e avete solo bisogno di un posto dove dormire e fare la doccia, questo posto offre un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Tuttavia, se siete abituati a soggiornare in hotel con stelle, potreste rimanere delusi dai servizi offerti.

La stanza è in un'ottima posizione ed è molto sicura. È stata appena ristrutturata, molto bella e pulita. L'unico problema è che la doccia usa uno scaldabagno elettrico, quindi bisogna aspettare un po' dopo aver fatto la doccia. Me ne sono dimenticata, quindi ho finito per avvolgermi in un asciugamano da bagno e sono andata in un'altra stanza vuota per fare una doccia. Puoi anche preparare la colazione al sacco, lo Starbucks locale è a 1 minuto di distanza e il KFC è a 3 minuti di distanza al piano di sotto

Un buon hotel nel centro del Cairo. Situato sul dodicesimo piano, ci sono ascensori. Il rumore del traffico non è sentito. Puoi ordinare colazione o caffè in un caffè sul tetto.Nella mia camera (124) c'era un spazioso balcone, doccia moderna, frigorifero, gabinetto. Il personale dell'hotel è responsabile.

The hotel is quite close to the Egyptian museum, The facility is okay - The place is quite old but clean. The hotel staff here are very nice especially Mr Anas he was quite energetic and really looking forward to service + friendly I didn't expect that he was invites me to the lunch together with them ** note** for someone who cannot sleep with the noise - the hotel is quite close to the Egyptian Street which is always honking the horn. Solution ** ust bring an earplug ( The one that you would receive on in airplane ) and everything's gonna be fine In conclusion this hotel is reasonably priced for this quality. if you don't expect for something luxury but friendly , This hotel could be your choice

In general, it is not bad for me to stay in a single room with a common bathroom for 10 nights. Above all, I would like to express my gratitude to the staff's efforts to manage the City Hostel clean which is too old and out fashioned building. * Location & Transportation Without noise, it is the best location to stay. It is located at 2 2-minute walk distance from Attaba subway station that connects to the Ramsis Railway Station and the Egypt Museum, only 1~3 stops away, charging 6 EGP per way. Of course, you can go to both by walk in 20 minutes. It means you can also enjoy the Nile riverside which is close to the museum. And it is a 2-minute walk distance from the Attaba market which is the biggest public market in Cairo and so many locals visit to buy their livelihoods stuff at a cheap price. In addition, you can also walk to the Al Azhar Mosque and Khan El-Khalili traditional market in 30 minutes, and St. Marc Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in AL Azbakeya in 10 minutes Two problems I experienced are firstly the noi⁹sy from 8 am to 3 am outside the building due to market area and cars' horns. It took 3 days for me to adapt it. Any room in the hostel cannot escape it without changing the windows to soundproof ones. If you are sensitive to sound, it is better to find other lodges in a residential area or modernized ones. Secondly, its location on the Uber taxi map and other maps is not accurate, so drivers have some problems in finding the city hostel. I have to meet them in front of the KFC next to the Attaba subway station. The signboard of the hotel is too small to recognize it. * Building and room conditions Like many other buildings in Cairo, the hostel building is old and shabby. The interior design and facilities are also outdated. However, the staff manages it so clean, particularly a common toilet and shower room. It is quite convenient a washstand in each room. However, it is bad there is no electronic kettle to boil water in a room or a common space. I could not enjoy my tea or coffee time at any time. I have to ask for hot drink water every morning when receiving breakfast, and store it in my tumbler. It will be better to provide a tea or coffee service area in the hostel. * Cleanness & Safety Cleanness and safety are very good. I have no issue with this. * Services There is no basic service that most guesthouses provide in general: toilet paper and drink water. Wifi is too weak to use the internet. Other services like laundry are satisfied. * Others During my stay, I couldn't enjoy having an exchange time with other travelers. I think it is because there is no reason to stay in a common space where only sofas and a table are. Largely guesthouse provides a commonplace where guests enjoy better the internet or drinks including tea or coffee and foods, which makes guests meet each other naturally and structurally. In conclusion, if the hostel provides basic services like toilet paper and commonplace with drink water and electronic kettles, it will be much better. And it is necessary to change its signboard so that is more recognizable. Except issues I mentioned above, it is a very good budget lodge.

When we arrived, it was a little difficult to find the building, because there was no sign of Lucky Hostel in the lobby. However a very persistent man outside, insisted that the building with sign “El otel”, is the correct building. We trust him and we entered. Another problem, it looked like to use the elevator to 4th floor, we must have access card. We wait for about 5 minutes and fortunately there was a man came down, and we asked his help to tap on the elevator using his card. Other than that, my husband & I were happy to stay in this hostel. Our room was so big and with sofa too!! Staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good. Hot shower was very pleasant in cold morning. And we were very happy that the staff allow us to put our luggage while we were away to Luxor. We stay for total of 4 nights and we were allowed again to put our luggage while we went shopping, because our flight was in the middle of the night.

L'hotel offre un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Proprio nel cuore del Cairo. Per il prezzo, non ci si può lamentare. Purtroppo il personale non parla molto bene l'inglese, ma ha comunque soddisfatto tutte le nostre richieste.
