GGuntoubupahoThe hotel is located in a central prime location in a busy but relatively quiet side street, very convenient and close to everything you ever need. Plenty of attractions,restaurants, cafes and places of interest all within walking distance. We had a fantastic time here in Quanzhou with superb and hospitable weather all through the week, no withstanding the taiphoon passing nearby.
The facilities are modern, even an inhouse cafe/ restaurant which provides prompt services with near perfect tasty food and drinks. The room service on the low desk in the room made it the best and most memorable dining experience we had during the mini honeymoon. See the photos attached.
The staff esp the reception, even the cleaners, went out of the way to attend to every needs and request from us, always with a smile and highly professional disposition. I personally saw how they handled a particularly difficult client with such grace and calmness, which settled the impasse pretty promptly. I saw the client a few days later who was full of smiles, satisfaction and appreciation of the level of comfort and services she received.
I couldn't have been happier the 4 days staying and could have extended more days had there been rooms available. But I promise to return when the first opportunity avail itself.
The only suggestion I can give is to make the slippery floor in the toilet more slip resistant. Perhaps with some thin layer of anti slip mat whenever requested by more senior clients like me. I was extra careful going in and out each time, as the water ponded easily there .

La posizione, anche se non accessibile da grandi veicoli, è ben servita da veicoli più piccoli, chiamati ”xiao bai”, che ha fatto girare un vento, questo pensiero accresce il fascino del luogo.
Una delle nostre eminenze era la colazione. Come qualcuno di Singapore, mi eccitava di trovare il mio colazione a casa, che era presente accanto alla cucina di Quanzhou. La fusione dei gusti era deliziosa e ci aspettavamo ogni mattina.
Il personale è stato eccezionalmente amichevole e utile, con una menzione speciale a Zhuang Zhuang per andare oltre e oltre per rendere il nostro soggiorno piacevole.
Abbiamo trascorso quattro notti qui e ci siamo divertiti tutti i momenti. Raccomando vivamente QUANZHOU WEST ST. GUCHENG ALLEY YU Hotel a chiunque visita Quanzhou. Grazie per un soggiorno memorabile!

PPearlin LewActually, I was staying in another international known hotel chain, but due to the poor room condition and isolated location, I decided to change to this hotel which I used to stay before. To my pleasant surprise, upon check in, our rooms were upgraded and we totally enjoyed the stay and hospitality from the hotel. What's more important is that this hotel is centrally located accessible to services and amenities nearby. Definitely will return in the future.

HHaohaodemamaNon male, qualità intercontinentale online, i piatti ed i servizi del ristorante cinese sono molto buoni, si può gustare del cibo delizioso senza uscire, ci sono anche piatti al vapore tra cui scegliere, giusto in tempo per pranzare mentre si aspetta la camera. La stanza è relativamente grande, ma il bagno è progettato con un lavandino singolo e il bagno non ha il lavandino. Tutto il resto è abbastanza buono. PS, la colazione è OK, ci sono noodles locali tra cui scegliere e accanto alle bevande al caffè sono posizionati bicchieri di carta usa e getta. È bello prendere un drink prima di uscire.

LLia KudoI stayed at the hotel for work and this is the third time I've stayed with the team. I had some orders to receive and the hotel called me to let me know every time I received the order and it was a little exhausting because I was in important meetings and I don't speak Chinese. The gym and restaurant are good, there are very few employees who speak English, if you need anything I recommend staying with the translator to communicate.

LLauren 红月I spent 6 nights at 2208. It had been saved on my Trip.com for many months before my summer holiday, so I was happy that they had availability for the week I planned to visit.
In order of importance for me as a solo (foreign female) traveler are: location, safety, and helpfulness of staff.
1. Location: I think the location is perfect. It’s on a small alley behind West Street and directly across from Kaiyuan Temple’s west gate. This area is very central and convenient.
2. Safety: Overall, the city is safe, but in reality it is nearby a main tourist destination, so to prevent non-guests from entering there is a gate with keypad access for late night. There was always staff inside at other times.
3. Helpfulness of staff: There were some language barriers due to my lack of fluency, but the staff tried to help as much as possible to make sure I was comfortable. If there was a problem it was resolved quickly and if I didn’t understand, they were patient and tried to explain it another way.
Other than these things, I’ll say there are actually two 2208 buildings in the same area. One has a view of Kaiyuan Temple from some rooms and from the rooftop; the other seems more modern but without this view. There is cleaning service available if you need it and free water bottles daily.
If you are looking for amenities such as a television or breakfast, maybe this is not a suitable option, but if you want a place to sleep nearby the best sites in Quanzhou, and have friendly staff greet you each day, then it’s a good choice.

UUtente ospiteI wasn’t sure what the hotel would be like since I am a foreigner but let me tell you!!!!
First of all the room is a great size. Large bathroom, very comfortable bed and pillows. Shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap provided. Along with dental kit, shower cap, and vanity kit. The shades are automatic and the AC works perfect. It does stop when you leave the room but it cools down fast enough. There was a charger provided in the room but it didn’t work for me. But it wasn’t an issue as I had my own. There was also tea and kettle, and water. Water was replenished every day as well. The room felt very clean as well.
The lady that was cleaning came every day to thrown away the garbage and give me new towels or anything else I needed.
The ladies at the reception were amazing too. Every day I asked them for recommendations for things to do and palaces to visit and they gave me great recommendations. They did recommend the most amazing self serve bbq so ask them for the same one! Xiao Li was so so sweet and so soft spoken. The helped with a solution for something and I am forever grateful for her help!
Now the breakfast!!! It was amazing every day. 6 stirfry platters with different things. My favorite were the egg and tomato and potato and bacon one. To die for! There was also a steam bun section with several sweet and meat options. There was bread and pastry box. There were 3 plates with fried options like nuggets or fries. There was a section. With two rice and grain porridges and a section with boiled eggs along with a boiled root vegetable every day. There was hot and cold drinks and yogurt. And also 3 fruit options. Watermelon, dragonfruit, orange, grapes, tomatoes (it seems that they eat tomatoes for dessert in China)
The hotel is located on a street that has a looooot of food joints. You can have it all from street food to more nice sit down options. Across from the hotel there’s two bubble tea places and several more along the road. There are also two massage places. Everything is open LATE. 12am-1am so you can enjoy everting late. The hotel is also walking distance from the Ancient city, several temples, and West Street which is another popular destination with a great night market and lots of food options. It’s about 30-35 min walk. The location of the hotel is actually great to the proximity of the popular attractions.
The only thing I would have loved is a fridge in the room, or alternatively an ice bucket so I can keep a few drinks or small things on ice. Their ice machine is really tiny and you won’t be able to fill a bucket anyway. That’s my only feedback. I’d absolutely 100% stay there again. It was lovely!

YYas_miniNot sure if this hotel is independently run or under the park in brand. The checkin and check out and getting left luggage just took forever. The staff were not friendly, no uniforms were worn, no welcome was given . Nothing was even said when I checked in. I was given a room that was clean and tidy. However the first night being a Saturday I was kept awake by the thumping sounds of the nightclub and the screaming sounds of KTV bar which kept me up all night. Then at 6 am the construction started digging and grinding. I asked to switch rooms and the next room was smaller . Somewhat clean. But it over looked the roof of the building where the aircon machines were which was absolutely loud.
The breakfast in this hotel was abysmal . Not much western food or vegetarian options. Except over sugary cereal and toast with no toppings. Every morning the room was filled and mosh patrons wasted half of what they took it was disheartening to see soo much food waste. The breakfast fruits were also always finished and nothing was being replenished. The chairs and table were dirty and stained. And I’m not sure the type of hygiene that went on cause no staff wore any type of uniforms. The coffee machine was dirty with finger marks and the overall cleaning was just poor. Skip the breakfast it was loud and in there and I saw guests sitting with the feet on the chains and kids sleeping all over the place.
The location is not very convenient it’s a bit of a distance from the west street and buses are not frequent but the bus stop is right outside.
The restroom in the lobby was also in a very poor state when I wanted to use it.
Again it is 2025 why are wel allowing smoking in public establishments! The halls smelt like smoke and one day my room a non-smoking room had a stench of smoke coming through the vents. The daily house keeping was also suspect, one day the toilet was cleaned and floors mopped the next.
Seriously , not sure if it’s actually is a radisson or what. But overall the room was clean and tidy.

UUtente ospiteAfter further experience, it seems that this place is typical for this area at this price range. So I guess I got what I paid for. But still, I was significantly disappointed by the lack of cleanliness.
The lobby seemed clean and new, but after that, the elevator, hallway, and room were disappointing. And although this room was a bit cleaner than a cheaper room at a different hotel nearby, the floor and bathroom were still noticeably dirty. There was a stain on the bedsheet, which I don’t doubt was perfectly sanitary, but still added to the impression of it being dirty. There were some free condoms and lube in a container near the bed, which made the place feel even more shady and unappealing.
Besides those things, it was fine. The breakfast on the top floor (you have to go up a set of stairs to get to it) was ok, though quite simple, Chinese-style breakfast items.
Overall, it was tolerable, and from experiencing a few other hotels later during my stay, I came to see that it’s hard to get anything much better than that for that price range. I paid about $28/night for this place. If you want a clean place to stay, you’ll probably have to pay a decent amount more money, probably more than $40.
