Hotel a Hartford County, Stati Uniti d'America

We recently stayed at this hotel after traveling there for a wedding and did not have the experience we were expecting. Aside from our room being in the ”motel” portion of the facilities, which was disappointing, our room had no hot water in the shower. We discovered this early Saturday morning. The solution provided by the front desk clerk was for us to use the shower in a room 4 doors down. This was a surprising and inconvenient solution, but due to timing of our plans, we did need to shower and meet with others by a certain time, so we took turns showering in the other room. We couldn't move into the other because there were 3 of us staying together and only 1 bed in the room. The front desk clerk said we had access to the shower room until noon. When it was my turn to shower, I locked the door to the hotel room AND the bathroom door, since I was by myself. I took a shower and when I got out of the shower, someone was trying to enter the bathroom and wiggling the doorknob. I said ”hello?” and whoever it was left and I heard the hotel room door shut. I was frightened to say the least, so I called my roommate and asked them to wait outside of the room for me to exit the hotel room. This was terrifying! The front desk clerk said it could have been a maid and was very unconcerned that this had happened to a guest. She said she was still trying to get a different room for us to move to and she'd call when they had one. When we got that phone call around 3pm, we were offered a room on the other side of the motel building, close to the loud and busy intersection. I politely declined this room and said the only we would go through another inconvenience of moving rooms was if it were to a nicer room. She said take it or leave it, so we left it. We did not enjoy our stay and wish there were other accommodations available in Avon but couldn't find any. I was kind, pleasant and understanding and gave ample opportunities for the staff to make our experience better, and all they did was take the $30 facility fee off of our bill. Every person I share this experience with tells me that we shouldn't have been charged at all for our stay, and I agree. We should be fairly compensated. I really hope this experience doesn't happen to any future guests.

We had an error on our reservation that was our fault...mistakes happen. When we realized our error, I called the general manager and she was so helpful in putting everything right for us. She really went out of her way to put the customer experience first and made sure that we enjoyed our time in the Hartford area. Great job and thank you to everyone at the Courtyard Hartford Farmington!

Il Hampton Inn di Farmington è bellissimo.È pulito, il personale è amichevole, ci siamo sentiti al sicuro durante il nostro soggiorno, ben accennato parcheggio, diverse opzioni per colazione, anche se avrei voluto vedere latte non lattiero-caseario per caffè/tea/cereale. Ho avuto una bella esperienza di soggiornare in questo hotel. Ho dovuto estendere la prenotazione iniziale e il personale l'ha organizzato senza soffitta. Il manager, Jeri, è fenomenale. E' molto personale, attenta, e comunicativa. I membri del personale del servizio frontale erano costantemente piacevoli e cortesi, e non ho avuto altro che amicizia e aiuto in qualsiasi occasione che li incontrassi. Brian, capo di manutenzione, non solo si sorprendeva di ridere di tutto ciò che doveva essere attento, ma anche di sorridere e ridere, non importa quanto fosse necessario fare. Lola e Ricky erano sempre amici e consapevoli.
