Haridwar: hotel con bar

We stayed 1 night here in the last week of Dec '23 during our UK vacation. This was booked for us via a Dehradun based operator - Allseasonz. At first glance the hotel looked good but had some issues as we started using the room facilities. Broken Taps, Incorrectly working sink, health faucet, cramped room, smelly interiors etc. Lunch was good as we asked and paid for Khichdi. Dinner & breakfast was below par as it was a buffet and had limited choices though they were ok to get us Dhal Fry on request. Seems like the better rooms and services were provided to a bunch of South african tourists rather than normal indians. It is a few kms from the main River and temple locations in Haridwar and right next to the highway which makes accessibility easier.

Unkept property, cockroaches in rooms. I had to change my room thrice. Poor sanitation and cleanliness.

One of good property In Shivalik Nagar very near to Har Ki Pauri i stayed till date. The greenery around the property is like awesome. The hospitality was good. We wanted a late check out and they agreed without charging extra money. Rooms were spacious. Experience was nice and comfortable place. Food was also delicious. We will fully recommend to others.
