Sophie Hotel

Very very old. The shower water is very weak. But the price is the same ETO other hotel. I don’t recommend.

Tôi đã lựa chọn khách sạn này để quay về Việt Nam cùng với em gái. Tôi đã đặt phòng qua trip nhưng đến khi nhận phòng c chủ đã báo là không nhận được booking của tôi trong khi tôi đã thanh toán xong. Sau một hồi nói chuyện tôi đã được nhận phòng. Nhận phòng thì chăn rất bẩn đến nỗi tôi không dám sử dụng. Phòng thì nhỏ không có chỗ để đồ. Tuy nhiên địa điểm khá tiện. Lúc trả phòng thì c chủ không có ở đó và báo nhân viên tôi chưa thanh toán tiền yêu cầu tôi trả tiền mặt. Mặc dù tôi có biên lai nhận phòng và thanh toán thành công trên app. Sau đó tôi liên hệ chăm sóc khách hàng của trip để giải quyết. Và mất 30p chờ. Thực sự trải nghiệm tệ. C chủ luac giải quyết vấn đề thì nói chuyện chợ búa :))

在老城區，圖片是5年前or10年前的。應該有兩類房間，前面房間的沒看，衹是樓梯和走廊對比就有差異，後面的還要穿過廚房。尤其是訂了就不能退，所以沒得選。

假照片，很實際房間完全不一樣，讓人很不愉快。我傍晚六點鐘到的，辦理入住讓我等了20分鐘。

Difficult to find the place using Google map because it's in a small alley off the main road. I booked a standard room using Agoda. It said 20 Sq meter for 500K dong. They ask us to wait for the room to be cleaned so we drop our bags and go around the old quarter for a few hours. We came back and the woman checked us in and led us about 100 meters down the small alley to another building and up 4 flights of stair to a room that would barely pass as a small closet. The bed literally filled the entire room. Not anywhere close to the room in the pictures on agoda. She advised us to disregard the pictures 🤔. She said we could upgrade to a larger room at additional cost. We took a look at the upgrade and had to laugh, it was so small I could not believe anyone would consider it an upgrade. Long story short, I would advise anyone not to book a room at this very poorly run establishment. It's cheap for a good reason. When we mentioned that I was going to give an honest review, she threatened to call the police! They don't care about providing honest service for the money. We got our money back and ended up booking a lovely room for 50K more.

About what you would expect from a 1 star hotel. The lady who runs the hotel is the most lovely person, incredibly helpful with anything you need. the location is fantastic too. we had room 403 and 404. 403 is the better room, with a nicer bathroom.

Lovely hotel with friendly owners and great service. Received free bananas, free water at reception, always willing to help with any of your needs and they even invited me to join them for dinner one evening. The rooms vary in size depending which one you get given and in a good location. Would happily stay again 👍

On nous a donné une chambre ne correspondant pas à notre réservation: toute petite. Puis une correspondante après réclamation. Nous avons dû attendre pour la deuxième fois 30 min la chambre n'étant pas prête alors qu 'il était 17h. Le canapé est sale taché. Des plinthes sont arrachées. Le chauffage ne fonctionne pas ( il faisait 9° à Hanoi). La salle de bain est insalubre : murs avec taches de moisissure, peintures écaillées, lavabo qui ne tient plus au mur et coule dans la pièce. Le balcon censé avoir vue sur la ville n'a que la vue sur le mur des voisins à 20 cm Cet hôtel ne tient aucune de ses promesses il est à EVITER

La verdad es que el hotel deja mucho que desear ya que está todo bastante sucio, telarañas en el cuarto de baño, el WC con pinta de no haberlo limpiado nunca, olor a humedad, ventanas con una suciedad y polvo que te da asco tocarlas para abrir y cerrar... Pero ya lo peor ha sido EL ENGAÑO DE LA PROPIETARIA. Nada más entrar al hotel, comentó que la habitación que teníamos reservada era demasiado pequeña para nosotros (talla media española) que estaba bien para vietnamitas pero que para alguien de nuestra altura no, que nos cambiaba como cortesía a una grande. Pues bien, esta nueva habitación era como la mansión del terror y mira que no somos muy especialitos con los alojamientos en viajes así, pero está estaba en la última planta de un edificio/lavandería y parecía que no había entrado nadie desde hace meses. Lleno de polvo, telarañas, mosquitos y las sábanas con unos lamparones que prefieres no pensarlo...y para terminar ¡un enorme agujero en la puerta del baño a través del que podías hablar con él que estaba en el WC desde la cama! Pero lo más gracioso es que la dueña en nuestro segundo día de estancia, empieza a a poner en duda si habíamos pagado la reserva a través de la plataforma o no, que le enseñamos justificante (lo que hicimos sin problema) y nos dice que TENEMOS QUE PAGARLE MÁS POR LA HABITACIÓN NUEVA QUE NOS HA DADO COMO "CORTESÍA" . La verdad es que lo pagamos porque no queríamos problemas a mitad de la estancia etc.y la diferencia no era muy significativa pero nos molestó mucho la "jugada" y cuando se lo comenté el último día, se ofendió muchísimo y me dijo que ya no entendía inglés. Eso sí, está bien ubicado pero fin. El peor hotel de nuestro viaje sin duda. (En la foto de la puerta se aprecia el agujero y al otro lado las piernas de mi pareja)
