We were absolutely gutted with our stay at village lake this time. We have stayed here lots however this was by far the worst stay we’ve had. We booked 6 weeks before, and arrived at 4.30pm For checkin, to find our room had had the carpet cleaned. The chairs etc had not been put back and we’re just inside the doorway of our unit. Both bedrooms had all the furniture on top of the beds upside down. Once we got that sorted went to settle the kids in to find they didn’t have a bed for our 3rd child (whom we paid for of Course) when asked about the bed that wasn’t provided, got told by the manager that we have to pay an extra $40 for a trundler bed. Even though we had paid extra for each Of our 3 kids to stay with us. All the lights bar one tiny light worked and this was hanging by wires in the second room. No extra toilet paper to use but the roll on the holder. We also booked for 5, and they only provided us with 4 towels every single day they came to clean. We had to keep asking for more. The front door to our room didn’t lock properly. It appears to be locked however with a solid push the door still pops open, so the unit was not secure. We asked to have this looked at and nothing was done about it. We were charged premium 5 star pricing for our stay, and asked to pay up front which we did as we’ve never had a problem before. It absolutely was NOT up to 5 stars.

Questo motel era uno dei migliori - era perfetto per quello che avete bisogno, e con un bilancio realistico e ragionevole per corrispondere. Carichi di asciugamani da prendere in prestito per prendere in piscina e tornare per lavare quando si torna. La piscina è a 5 minuti a piedi facile. Fantastico deposito biciclette disponibile e gli ospiti erano super amici e utili. La stanza era incredibilmente pulita. Non c'è lavatrice disponibile, ma c'è una rack di vestiti se si dispone di travi bagnati, ecc. Situazione tranquilla, ma molto vicina ai negozi e ai posti da mangiare.

Abbiamo soggiornato in diversi motel mentre ci fermiamo a Hanmer Springs e abbiamo trovato il miglior alloggio finora. Dovremmo caricare le nostre batterie e prenotare un soggiorno di 5 notti. L'appartamento era grande, che per due di noi aveva molte camere da raffreddare. La struttura è stata molto confortevole e il letto è molto rilassante. La cosa migliore che ci piaceva era lavare completamente, così potresti andare alle piscine Hanmer, tornare e asciugare subito il tuo attrezzo di nuoto. Il giorno scorso potevamo lavarci e asciugarci i vestiti, quindi non dovevi farlo quando tornavi a casa, il bagno aveva un bagno spa alto e lavatrice,shampoo ecc era molto buono. Abbiamo letto quando abbiamo prenotato i vestiti, ma non riuscivamo a trovarli, così andava alla ricezione, che ci ha detto che non c'era problema se volevamo, ma tu devi solo chiederli.Erano lussuosi, caldi e pesanti. Non abbiamo trovato una richiesta che non fosse troppo. La posizione degli appartamenti è perfetta per il campo da golf e le piscine, insieme alla strada principale e alle ristoranti a distanza di toccamento. Ora ci sarà un problema non prenotare Clearidge in futuro, a meno che non si prenoti.

I took my daughter to Hanmer for a birthday treat. We decided to stay at the Hamner Springs hotel because it looks lovely from the outside. I’m afraid to say it was nothing like that on the inside! The first room they put us in on the top floor was dark and musty. We tried to open one of the doors in the room and the handle completely broke off. They then put us in room 108 on the bottom floor - it was sold to us as a king deluxe room. It was anything, but that besides, the room being tired the TV didn’t work, the extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t work. The shower pipe fell off the wall while I was showering and all the light switches were connected, so you could not turn off particular lights when you wanted. We ordered room service from the in-house restaurant. We had a seafood pasta, which was totally average. The Greek salad had no fetta or olives- when we complained, they return the salad with some sprinkled feta on the top. The whole thing was a total disappointment, the hotel is shabby and tired!. I gave it a two star rating because the staff were helpful and very friendly. Besides, that I would give this place a total miss so sad because I have stayed there in the past, and it was super.🥲

Popped up to Hanmer Springs for Easter. Been years since we visited ad golly the town has grown. Stayed up at Alpine Holiday Park (Use to be the old AA Motor Camp in the day). Couples trip with two camper buses and we took ot two dogs. We had a ball!! The hosts were very friendly, even to suggesting the best way for Evan to park his 11m bus and the two adjoining sites were both of a good size and were sunny. The toilets and showers were spotless, an there's no charge for the showers with ample hot water, and while we didn't use the the kitchens and family games room looked to be excellent. For those not camping or in campers there is a lodge accommodating up to 40 plus motel rooms/cabins. Children on site were well catered for with pedal carts and a decent sized play ground area. The camp is a wee distance out of town; no issue with an e-bike, but it makes up for that by being lovely and peaceful. Ideal for a long weekend break.
