I am not surprised with Novotel. A regular customer by them. The location is good close to everything. The hotel cannot be faulted it was all seamless stay.

Location is relatively central and within walking distance to Jungfernsteig shopping district, 5 min drive from Alster Lake. The hotel is relatively new and clean, well maintained. There is a Nespresso machine in the room however there was no hot water kettle. When queried, the staff said to just use the Nespresso machine for hot water or drink water from the tap! Only sparkling water bottle was provided, if you want to buy a bottle of still water, it will cost EU7.00 (no thank you)!

Fresh of renovation, rooms clean, friendly service and good position.

位置很近車站，房間空間足夠，但被安排2樓最尾的一間房間，房間很大陣裝修後濃烈的臭味，十分不好，必須開窗散發，床上的被鋪亦明顯有污跡，沒有任何冷氣空調，晚上太焗熱必須開窗通風，但樓層太矮，對正樓下晨早巳有工程發動攻勢嘈音令你睡醒，亦十分大麈，房間內包括枱子等設施亦是塵埃。

Die Klimaanlage unseres Zimmer (215) war kaputt und wir konnten nicht schlafen, weil es zu laut und kalt in dem Zimmer war. In der Rezeption hatte ich 3 Mal über das Problem Bescheid gesagt, und nur als ich persönlich dort war, haben die Mitarbeiter des Hotels reagieren. Als Lösung des Problems haben sie uns 2 andere Zimmer um 02.00 morgens angeboten. Sehr unprofessionell.

Sehr modern und neu, schöne Zimmer, Service muss sich noch einspielen (lange Wartezeit beim Check-In etc.)

Sehr neues Hotel, Personal ist besonders freundlich.

Come sempre Novotel non delude mai, stanza pulita, silenziosa, letto comodo e grande tv. Bagno spazioso con doccia. Struttura nuova, moderna e ben tenuta. Personale serio e professionale. Colazione particolarmente fornita, dolce, salato, frutta etc etc. Consiglio caldamente questa struttura!

Business hotel located an easy walk from the railway station. Typical Novotel - a chain one knows what to expect - with a good breakfast offering and pleasant staff who found some extra decaf pods for the coffee maker for me. Just across the road from Saturn if you fancy some retail therapy :-)

New hotel, clean rooms and good location! That’s as much as you can have, unfortunately. With the exception of Maria, front desk, the team is unfriendly and unhelpful - to say the least! Honestly, I am not sure they know what they are doing or what customer service means! We were told breakfast would start at 06:30h, to come down at the given time, to watch the team running around to get things sorted! The cherry on the cake, however, was the barman. I had the restaurant menu on my hands and ordered a given food to him, to be said I could not have it in the bar. Fair! Then, got the bar menu and was speaking to one of his colleagues to order something else to be told: “You've tried with me and now you are doing the same with my colleague?” Manners??? ... No where to be seen!

Hmmm, it’s a near-brand-new hotel… and it shows. The room and bathroom were immaculate. In fact, the huge shower room felt quite palacial. Lots of glitches that I’m sure will be addressed over the next couple of months. (1) Nespresso machine sits perfectly on a cabinet but there is no electrical socket so the machine had to be moved onto the floor across the room. (2) No milk/creamer, so we had to trek to reception. (3) Safe inoperable as it was locked shut (4) Despite given two room keys we were advised that we should always use the same one for the lifts otherwise it causes problems. Great location so close to the station. Lovely breakfast - very typical Novotel selection. Definitely recommended
