"We do really love this hotel. It’s on our special occasion and they contacted us prior to arrive if we want to have cake. They also arrange a hand written card which is very cute. The room is spacious with nice decoration, room also have a kitchen and dining area with ding tools. Staff is very helpful and friendly, we planned for a cherry blossom but it’s too soon. She recommends us for a nearby town with full bloom period. I can’t remember her name but she’s great. For next time in Hakuba, we’ll surely stay here again!"

"Receptionist aren’t polite upon check-in/ unfriendly and very rude towards customers! Not helpful at all! The only great staff are AO Suyama and Shuji kato, they were working very professionally up to Marriott’s standards. Restaurant all are excellent! Super nice super friendly and very professional in there profession. Housekeeping need to ask for everything ! Very tiring! Room was dusty a lot hairs ! Old facilities! Not a happy stay!"

"Nice hotel, room is quite spacious. Hot springs are one of our favorites facilities, they provide free ice cream and milk. 4-5 private onsen in the hotel (pre-book). Varities of breakfast but it’s the same every day. They have free flow drinks and snacks in late afternoon and evening. ski & snowboard rental shop in the hotel is quite limited and out dated, locker room also."

"My wife and I visited as part of a ski trip. Hifumi is a bit of a walk to the nearest ski lift but the ski bus if very close and runs more often than the timetable suggests. Our room (Sen) was huge and lovely. The en-suite onsen was a real luxury. Breakfast is excellent (both Japanese and European options). The real highlight was the service. The 2 young ladies who front a lot of the service are possibly the most helpful people I have ever met. They are superb, nothing is too much trouble."

"It's close to Hakuba Happo-one and just a five-minute drive from Hakuba Iwatake, making it a great location for ski season. Because we stayed during the off-season, there weren't many other guests and it was quiet. The water pressure in the shower in the large communal bath was a bit of a concern, but other than that, I was satisfied. ◎ The buckwheat galette at breakfast was especially delicious!"

The features of the rooms include wall heating , floor heating and air conditioning. Picture windows capture the view of (one of the many ski resorts your passes allow) ski resorts which is breath taking."

"They refuse to provide service to pick up us at JR station with reason peak season although it shows the have pick up service when we booked hotel. We booked the rooms with billa type but we hv no idea that it locates about 4km far away from reception location where shows in trip.com and google map. We realize the actual location when hotel reply my email that no picking up service and share the location in mail. Villa is ok but it would be goid in case you have car."
