Overall a pleasant stay. Started with a few hiccups due to late and incomplete responses through mail. However, Mr Hiroki the supervisor and the staff in general tried their level best to ensure a comfortable stay for us. The hotel is quite comfortable and serves its purpose as a hotel for those seeking to head to ski fields as the shuttle bus stop is outside the hotel.

A wonderful stay here. Refreshed and modern. We had the family room with two futons which was pretty spacious. The only downside was that the basin was located inside the bathroom, making it inconvenient for others to use it. The location was brilliant as it was only walking distance to Echoland with plenty of dining options. The breakfast buffet had a pretty good range though if some of the dishes could be different each day that would be even better. One thing to note that is that the car park is unsheltered. We stayed for the ski season in January and on one night there was heavy snow, so the next morning we had to spend some time shovelling the snow around our car before we could drive it out. I suspect this is pretty typical in Hakuba though. Overall we were very satisfied and would highly recommend this for a family ski trip.

One of the best experiences I’ve had so far, and the Marriott was a large contribution to that factor. The room has big and spacious, felt very warm and cosy and the staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful throughout. Highly recommend!

Room is clean and big like in the photos, however the toilet space is too tiny and uncomfortable to use. Only 1 person can enter at a time and no space to place amenities. Breakfast space was beautiful, but we stayed for 4 days, the breakfast selections were limited and exactly the same for all 3 days. Suggest the hotel to change the menu atleast every 2 days.

Such a wonderful stay at Hakuba! Service by Mariott stuff was excellent. Shuttle bus arrived on time and the luggages up the bus and to our room. The room had an in-room onsen which was super! There was a quiet camping ground beside where my family spent half a day building snowman and playing. We could call for pizza food delivery on the first day. Convenience store was quite a walk away but manageable if the snow wasn’t so thick.

The stay was alright, the welcome drink hot french onion soup was good. Superb breakfast but pretty remote from anything else unless you’re only here for the ski resorts nearby.

Location a bit far from ski sites. Hakuba is difficult to find nice ski in ski out hotels. However this hotel is new and clean, with in room onsen. A perfect stay!

Very effective staff for checking in and out. Luggage arrangements from when checking in to helping us into the shuttle bus to the airport are extremely helpful for the travelers like us who were still disoriented after long flights. Also great foods both dinner and breakfast. Smart choice for an overnight stay near airport.

The room was very clean and nice, properly warmed in the winter. All the staff are very polite and helpful. Especially Mr Hiroki Maete at the front counter who very patiently helped us to get bookings for bus tickets enroute to Mount Fuji. Mashed potatoes and udon tempura from the hotel restaurant were delicious, we would stay in marriott again 😊

Here's a review for Courtyard Hakuba: Sure! Here's a review for Courtyard Hakuba: We stayed at Courtyard by Marriott Hakuba with our family and had a comfortable experience. The room size was adequate for our needs, providing enough space to move around comfortably. However, the combined bathroom and toilet were a bit on the smaller side, which might be a consideration for some travelers. The breakfast offered could definitely use some improvement. It was quite repetitive with not much variation from day to day. A bit more variety would make the dining experience better. We skied at Hakuba 47 and were pleased with the convenience of the shuttle service provided by the hotel. The shuttle operated at designated times, making it easy to get to and from the slopes. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay and would return.

Rooms are clean and nice. However the laundry dryers need to improve, it took us 3 hours to dry 5kg load.

Best thing about this hotel is the staff. All of them are really kind and will go above and beyond.

Conveniently located in the middle of a number of snow resorts. Best to drive there yourself as the shuttle bus may not be the most convenient and reliable. Rooms are spacious and have all the amenities you typically need and expect. Each room has a ski storage locker which was useful, and also have a pay per wash and dry machines. The public onsen was great and particularly good if your room does not have a private onsen. Staffs were helpful and overall the hotel condition was good. Will go back again if we visit Hakuba next year!
