Hotel terme a Hakone

Abbiamo trascorso una notte nella stanza di Kaede e abbiamo davvero goduto del nostro soggiorno.Abbiamo preso un taxi dalla stazione di Odawara, che era circa ¥3100. Dopo essere arrivati al ryokan, siamo stati salutati dal loro personale e escoltati nella nostra stanza. La nostra stanza aveva un asciugamano privato e abbiamo anche prenotato uno degli asciugamano privato. Ho prenotato un massaggio dopo il pasto kakiki, che era così rilassante. Tutto circa il nostro soggiorno era sorprendente. Era come il riposo e la rilassamento che ci serviva per tutto il cammino che avevamo già fatto durante il nostro viaggio. L'unico negativo era la costruzione fuori dalla nostra stanza. It wasn't going on while we were in our room but the staff mentioned they're extending the ryokan to include a restaurant so just double check before booking to ensure you won't have an obstruction view or issues with construction noise if you're there for più di una notte. I read great reviews about Hakone Pax Yoshino. It's an older hotel in a tourist town and appears quite nice. My room was OK, large and could use some updating. My traditional dinner and service was spectacular, hence my 3-star rating. What tainted a one-night stay is I was traveling with a vegetarian friend and not only was she shut out of a dinner she paid for, but the front desk agent said they couldn't accommodate her, there would be no refund or substitutions, because we were traveling as solos we couldn't sit together - so many ”couldn'ts” that were simply not true. This tainted my stay and I went alone to dinner - plenty of room for another person - which was great. I was embarrassed that I had picked this hotel for friends to stay separately and upon arrival was told that our plan didn't include meals, which they sure did. So, at the front desk for about $300 per night, everything is ”couldn't”. Breakfast was just OK compared to dinner. I loved wearing the yakata and having hot spring water in the room's tub (which could use updating) was nice. In the morning, I was told to reserve a spot on a shuttle to the train station for what reason, I'm not sure. When no shuttle showed up for me, my friend and others waiting - and waiting - and waiting - we were then told that the shuttle doesn't always show up. Why the reservation for something that doesn't happen? The front desk could not request a cab, another ”couldn't”. Since most of us leaving had trains to catch and tours scheduled, we walked the 15 minutes or so to the station in the rain. I saw other guests I met while waiting also drenched at the station. In short, I'm not impressed though so much of Japan has impressive accommodations and kindness. Hakone Pax Yoshino falls short. For that reason, I wouldn't stay again and don't recommend it. Too bad, because the traditional dinner and restaurant serving staff are top notch. I'm sure the chef - and a dinner this good has to have a chef - would have said to serve a vegetarian rice, vegetables, desserts of which there were several as well as a large drink menu and other dishes - and the experience would have been better. Unfortunate that the front desk person we had could only say no, you don't have, we can't. Well, I think they could have. Very sad.

Al reception, quando aspettavo, una donna che sembrava molto nera mi disse: ”Compra, perche'non entrerai nel museo a meno che non porti una boccata.”Solo io ho notato che ci sono altri veri clienti maschi. A parte il personale, nessuno presta attenzione a faccia vera, calda, vestita e sala da bagno sono persone vere ovunque.So che è facile stare attenti, perché sono una giovane donna, ma spero che non si faccia discriminare.La bocca non è una sola vendita, ma un set di 500 yen. Il gusto del ristorante è come la piazza del cibo.Il gusto non è adatto per persone sani perché contiene un sacco di additivi e poche verdure.Il costo dell'ingresso di due adulti e due bambini e il costo del ristorante è di 16000 yen.L'atmosfera è come un super lago pubblico, quindi l'impressione è un po' troppo costosa. Purtroppo, c'è un angolo di fumo a destra della porta, che non può evitare l'odore di sigarette.Ci sono molti ospiti di gruppo che fumano, quindi possono essere adatto per la festa.Quando controllo i ricevimenti, non c'è prezzo di fumo.Almeno questo è un salvataggio.

Era la prima volta che soggiornavo qui! La cena e la colazione incluse erano deliziose e il servizio era molto gentile e sono rimasto molto soddisfatto! ! La camera era pulita e la vista dalla vasca all'aperto era incredibile! Era una locanda in cui mi piacerebbe soggiornare ancora! Grazie mille 😊

Un hotel in posizione strategica a due passi dalla stazione ferroviaria. Ho scelto la stanza in stile giapponese e lo yukata ci viene fornito per cambiarci se lo desideriamo. Sono forniti anche i calzini! I letti pieghevoli sono disposti quando siamo andati per la nostra cena inclusa (spiegata accuratamente dalla reception durante il check-in), ed è super confortevole. La cena consisteva in molte portate, cibo squisito in piccole porzioni. Alcuni locali indossavano lo yukata fornito al ristorante. È totalmente permesso. NOTA CHE la stanza che ho selezionato sembra funzionare sull'unità di ventilazione centrale dell'hotel e ha solo la funzione di riscaldamento quando sono rimasto lì (novembre). Ho chiamato la reception per chiedere come funzionava l'aria condizionata ed è stato allora che l'ho scoperto. Va tutto bene. Basta aprire le finestre e spegnere il riscaldamento della stanza e la stanza si raffredda. Ho anche prenotato un bagno privato a un costo aggiuntivo e ho fatto un bagno intero per me per 45 minuti. Si prega di non rimanere all'interno per più di 10 minuti ogni volta. Leggi te stesso prima dell'uso poiché in realtà non hanno fornito alcuna guida. Nel complesso, è un soggiorno piacevole. La stanza è semplicemente troppo incredibile. Ma ritengo che alcune aree possano essere migliorate, ad esempio la TV è un po' datata. E il tocco è contro intuitivo. Tirare verso l'alto la leva per disattivare mentre si preme verso il basso per attivare. Perché però?

Ho effettuato il check-in secondo l'orario stabilito. Sono stato contento di aver letto la sezione commenti in anticipo e di sapere che l'hotel ai piedi della montagna non era l'hotel vero e proprio in cui effettuare il check-in. Ci sono voluti circa 10 minuti per salire la tortuosa. strada di montagna. La camera con tatami che avevo prenotato era molto grande e un vecchio hotel in stile giapponese, inutilmente, ho prenotato un bus navetta per la stazione ferroviaria il giorno successivo.

This hotel is a historic property set in an iconic setting. We stayed in the Forest Section which features large, comfortable rooms that were a little dark, the bathroom lighting could be improved. Here is my issue. We arrived around 1:15 and we’re told that we could check in at 3:00. We had lunch in their cafe ( 50$) and asked again about an hour later if we could have early access. The very polite desk clerk replied “ Yes, for $70 dollars “. Astounded , I countered that we were departing early 2 days later, and he reduced the amount to $35. Now here is where communication becomes an issue: I continued the “are you kidding me?” and he kept bowing. I thought the issue was settled. That night and the next we ate at their lovely restaurants, French and the Cascade. Food and service was superb. With wine we spent about $900. Check out was early, and my husband didn’t really examine the bill. When we were back in our free early access room in Tokyo I noticed the $35 charge. I contacted the hotel’s customer service and they confirmed the charge. So, what about customer hospitality? I have NEVER been charged an early access fee for an hour. They have been times when we patiently waited for a room to be readied, and never demanded a rebate. It is all part of the guest/host agreement, I think this is probably a corporate decision by the Fujiya Group. Rethink your mission, guys, make guests feel wanted!

Non so se questo posto sia stato ristrutturato o no, ma stavo leggendo le recensioni di qualche anno fa e non era come questo. La stanza era grande e pulita e moderna. Molto bel bagno, doccia, ecc. La zona di dormire era grande. Potrei dormire almeno 4 adulti confortevolmente. La cosa pessima era le piu' di riso! Le piu' di riso sembravano e erano molto incomode. Quindi portatevi il vostro! Se possibile. Il prezzo è un po' alto. Un po'meno di $400 USD, ma questo include cena e colazione piena e tre bevande per persona. Alcol incluso. Il pranzo era... interessante. Molto stile giapponese, non sapeva metà di quello che mangiavo e alcuni erano buoni e alcuni erano degni. Ma sicuramente un'esperienza unica. Il personale era fantasticamente amichevole e accogliente e utile. Servizio impeccabile. Per questo solo sarebbe 5 stelle. La gente è così bello. Belle aree onsen/ spa. La zona femminile comprende 4 piscine. 2 all'interno 2 all'esterno. Vi danno vestiti pieni e cosa non indossare e ci sono tè disponibile nel bagno. Sono in ristrutturazione all'esterno, quindi il fronte non è molto esteticamente piacevole. Ma i giardini sono magnifici.

L'ho usato per una festa di compleanno e ho soggiornato per una notte. Nel complesso si respira una sensazione di pulizia e anche il servizio navetta è buono. Anche l'interno della struttura è stato progettato e ho potuto trascorrere del tempo in uno spazio bellissimo. La lobby non è particolarmente grande, ma il personale era gentile e non mi sentivo stressato dall'attesa. Dato che ci sono molti stranieri, siamo in grado di accogliere anche altre lingue. Il grande bagno pubblico permetteva il bagno misto in costume da bagno, il che era piuttosto rinfrescante. Non c'era il bagno d'acqua della sauna. Il ristorante era bellissimo e la cena era deliziosa. Penso che il personale dovrebbe essere un po' più entusiasta delle spiegazioni sul cibo. Nel complesso consigliato. Penso che l'atmosfera sarebbe diversa fuori dall'inverno.

We had the opportunity to stay in this beautiful ryokan on Dec 5-7, 2023. Our room is a Japanese-style tatami room with river view, which was calming/relaxing to see leaves moving and hear water running. Here we get to appreciate the traditional Japanese lifestyle and hospitality through its onsen and kaiseki ryori, an elaborated Japanese haute cuisine. Breakfast was also delightfully prepared in the same line of authentic Japanese artistic cuisine. However, I want to be honest here. The second kaiseki dinner/breakfast lost its charm/excitement not because it was bad food; it became an obligatory work for us to eat an array of food all served at once in the dining table. There was a feeling of rush that came upon us. Dipping in its huge onsen (温泉, hot spring) was one of the best ”only-in-Japan” experiences we ever had. The ryokan location is perfect, just a stone throw away from Yumoto station. When night falls, there's really nothing much to do in the surrounding area. Certainly a perfect gateway to do your Tozan train-cable-ropeway-cruise-bus circuit tour of Hakone.
