Hotel a Gulpen, Paesi Bassi

We stayed here for a night and it’s basic and fine. The breakfast just had the necessities like some eggs, bread, cheese, ham, etc. but it was good. They also had a nice coffee machine so if you want to drink a cappuccino you can! While the breakfast area was small, it was enough to seat quite a few guests. When we arrived (I believe it was around 8:30am) there were tables that were not cleared yet and during our breakfast only one of those tables was cleared and cleaned which is something they could improve so the guests don’t have to stare at trash all the time. The room did not have a fan or an airconditioning, which is fine, but we also could not open the windows at night because they did not have screens and there were quite a lot mosquitoes and other unwelcome guests waiting to get into our room. The windows were also extremely dirty which is quite disgusting since they open inwards. The beds were clean and the mattress was soft and surprisingly comfortable! The bathroom had soap and showergel/conditioner attached to the wall and the showerhead was small but powerful. For the elderly there was a chair in the shower so you could sit down. The towels were clean and there were two shower towels per person. (the smell in the room also gave away a lot of elderly stay there) The surroundings of the hotel are beautiful so for people wanting to cycle or hike its perfect. Outside the hotel is a seating area where you can drink something. The seats were comfortable and there was plenty of shade. While you drink your cold beverage you can enjoy the view of a small lake and fountain separating the hotel from a main road. We read online this was a 2 star hotel but it was worth 4 stars. In our opinion everything was fine but compared to other 2 and 3 star hotels we stayed at it is definitely not worth 4 stars. Definitely a hotel to consider for an event so you basically only have to sleep there. Mooi vrij nieuw hotel. Helaas geen welkomstdrankjes ontvangen, wat toch normaal is. Mooie kamer. Geen mogelijkheid om ergens de koffers op te leggen dan op de grond. We zijn niet zo oud, maar toch wel wat beperkt. Dus maar op het bureau gelegd met als extra ondersteuning de stoel. Ruimte genoeg voor een kofferkruk of iets dergelijks. Nu kwamen we vrij laat in de regen aan. Had het niet eens in de gaten, omdat er wat auto’s stonden dat we de auto niet voor de deur hadden mogen laten staan. Is ook niet naar gevraagd. Inmiddels 10 dagen verder en ook geen punten ontvangen. Dit is niet wat ik gewend ben van accor en kom er al velen jaren als silver of gold member, dus weet waar ik over spreek.

Questo piccolo hotel ha una posizione perfetta, in una vecchia casa di fronte al fiume Maas, nella parte più pittoresca del centro storico, vicino a affascinanti negozi e ristoranti. E 'pulito. Le camere sono moderne, minimalistiche ma ben pensate. Nessun colazione, nessun caffè nella stanza, nessun catrame o tavole, certamente nessuna sicurezza, asciugacapelli solo su richiesta del desk front- it’s not luxury, and a bit of a challenge for older travellers. Non ho trovato il personale rude- egualitaria, forse- brusca quando trattava le denunce, i suoi ospiti, ma altrimenti amici e molto utile. Erano giovani e abbastanza freddi da aver preso le loro proposte di ristorante.

Best prijzig voor zo'n hotelkamer. Het was een kleine kamer met een badkamer en toilet. Badkamer hangt alles scheef. Handoekenrekje hing uit de schroeven. Douche was vies van de kalk muren kon wel een verfje gebruiken. Hoofdsteun van het bed is kapot het leder was gebladderd. Het sprei op het bed was smoezelig. Bij de voordeur de deurklink was kapot als je er langs loopt moet je uitkijken dat je kleding niet kapot gaat. Erg duur voor zo'n kamer. Ontbijt was prijzig pp was wel lekker. Personeel is aardig. Voordeel je zit vlakbij het centrum van Maastricht

Il servizio era buono. Stanza completa. Colazione ben presentata e ampia scelta. Purtroppo avevamo la camera sopra l'Irish Pub. È abbastanza inutile. Non ho chiuso occhio fino alle 4 del mattino Nonostante le finestre chiuse la ventola, anche l'aria condizionata non fosse e faceva molto caldo .... Queste stanze sopra il pub dovrebbero essere effettivamente utilizzate ora ......

I stayed here for four days for a business trip. The front desk staff were very helpful with questions about dining, parking and other services of the hotel. There are two parking garages that the hotel uses, one that has metal doors on either side, so if you have a large vehicle, you may want to use the other entrance around the corner which had a little more space on the sides. The room rate included breakfast as well as overnight parking.. The room (#636) faces the plaza next to the entrance of the parking garage. The rooms across the hall face the river. The room has two beds with a desk that hold the TV which can swivel to either the beds or the desk area. The bathroom has a nice walk-in shower with a glass partition. The space works for one person. There was two bottles of water that were left in the room each day. The hotel is centrally located with lots of café and restaurants on the same side as well as short walk to shops/restaurants across the river. I can see why many of the people from our company stay here.

Abbiamo soggiornato a Fletcher Erestein. Avevamo la stanza dei servi. entrata davanti alla reception. Era una buona stanza, che è stata data, ma ach il prezzo per stanza non è certo alto. Le letti erano buone e la bagno pulito e pulito. C'era un caffè e una caldaia per un tavolo di tè, anche un fohn, la colazione era abbastanza ampia e piena, quindi non capisco tutte quelle cattive recensioni. Forse avremmo avuto fortuna? Un suggerimento è quello di leggere il sito di Fletcher sul castello Erestein. Questo dice che non dormi nel castello ma nel Hove .......

Great hotel! I knew I'd love a hotel with a reception desk literally at the bar, LOL. Room was big enough, clean and windows opened up to the street below. Was here for a conference at MECC, which was only a 20 min walk away. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and if anything, convenient. Thanks for a great stay!

Dit hotel als uitval basis gebruikt voor een dagje valkenburg. Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is meer dan goed. Klein ontbijt bij de prijs inbegrepen. Kamers zijn klein, maar een goed bed en een goede douche. Parkeren is gratis. En je kan s'avonds nog een biertje, wijntje of iets fris kopen om op de kamer of buiten op het terras te nuttigen. Personeel is vriendelijk.
