Geraldton backpacker is a nice little historical building that has been repurposed for backpacker stay! The lady at the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. The shared kitchen is big and well equipped for almost any cooking!

First time stays in the backpack hostel, the experience quite nice, the receptionist is an old couple, they are very nicely. The toilet is sharing one, but very clean.

The room was clean but there was not much space for everyone to open their suitcases (as there were 7 people in the room). The wifi and the air conditioning worked well, and the kitchen and bathrooms were nice. The rooms are upstairs and we had to carry our suitcase up steep steps. The floor is creaky and there are many house rules, but the owner was nice and explained everything thoroughly.

This is a well run backpackers, suitable for most ages. The manager is top quality and there to help. Secure and tidy accomodation at an affordable price. choices for shared or single bed. I had a great queen bed solo room, very comfy with a lovely breeze. Thank you to the wonderful manager who accepted me late on a Saturday afternoon. You sat with me as I cried and heard my story of an awful experience at a local B and B. I can't thank you enough for your kindness.

Great host and welcoming on arrival explaining and showing where things are and also a good location by the seafront, however it is in a desperate need of an internal renovation compared to other backpackers in WA. Room felt claustrophobic being internal, did have option to open ranchdoor but felt my privacy was more important. Appreciate that building codes prevent external upgrades but for 3 showers and 2 sinks with a large number of female beds is not enough. Having stayed with the autopia tour group and being allocated a room on the opposite side of the building to the tour group also made me feel unsafe especially at night going to the bathroom, female room placed on the opposite side of the building to the female toilet

Our beautiful Heritage Listed Building was renovated only a few years ago, both the interior and the exterior. I am sorry you did not appreciate our Heritage Listed Building. You were given a choice of a single room right next to the other female tour group guests that was also close to the female bathroom. However you chose the single room with the TV that was located in the opposite wing which had the French Doors opening onto the Terrace with the sea view. This room also has its own security screen door so you were always able to have fresh air and security. At the time you made your selection you were well aware of the location of both rooms and the location of the female bathroom, I am very confused why you are now complaining about your selection. We went out of our way to assist you and give you the choice, it appears now, it was impossible to make you happy. There were only 7 female guests in your tour group. We have not had any previous complaints in regards to our female bathroom.

Friendly staff it's clean and tidy and one of the originals of Bali that hasn't changed built in the older style. It's reasonably tucked away from any main roads so you don't get a lot of traffic noise. There's also a good selection of places to eat close by.

Terrible custumer service from the owner. Abusive, volatile, umpredictable behaviour, she has outburts out of nowhere. Tip toing aroud her. Staff looks sad and worried on her presence. I will never go back there ever again and would not recomend it

Monica is a very volatile and unpredictable person, who trated guests, management and staff extremely badly. We would never treat our guest as Monica has stated here, it would not be in the best interest of our business. Threatening, abusive and erratic behaviour towards staff and guests will not be tolerated. For the safety of staff and guests Monica was asked to leave the property. It is disappointing that Monica has chosen to write a review which is not true. We would not accept Monica as a guest in the future.Our fantastic location and facilities ensure our guests are in a safe relaxed environment. Guests are able to enjoy the outdoor garden areas, two TV rooms, and our fantastic fully equipped kitchen. We offer guests a choice of rooms including private Single, Queen, Twin or shared dorm rooms. Staff are always available to assist guests in any way they can.

We stayed for a week in Geraldton Backpackers and it was great! The team works really good to keep everything clean and tidy all the time. The room was very quiet and the bed very comfy. The staff is amazing, specially Pippa and her husband John. They are such good people. I totally recommend staying there if you’re in Geraldton.

Great location next to the beach with cinema and lots of shops cafés and restaurants in walking distance with off road secure parking. Very comfortable beds and nicely apponted tidy rooms. Great manager friendly and helpful. I've paid a lot more for a lot less. I have stayed several times and it's my prefferd place in Geraldton.

Great location, secure parking & exceptionally clean. Easy walking to cafe's. Perfect for a few nights to break up a road trip. Had a room upstairs with a balcony overlooking the street but very quiet for a Saturday night.

I stayed here one night as part of an organized trip with Autopia. The beds were VERY comfortable for a hostel accommodation; we were a bit confused with all the corridors etc but the map of the hostel was explained to us upon checking in so it helped. The on-site staff was very welcoming and kind. Also, everyone in each dorm room had its own set of keys which was much appreciated. Would recommend staying here!
