Hotel in zona Fort Cornwallis, George Town

In Penang, The Prestige Hotel is hailed as a shining gem in the city, and for me, it is even more beloved in my heart. Every time I step into this magical place, I feel immense joy and comfort. From the moment I step into the lobby, the staff at The Prestige Hotel leave a profound impression with their warmth and enthusiasm. They always greet me with smiles, willing to help me open car doors, carry luggage, and greet me warmly anytime and anywhere. This kind of warm treatment makes me feel truly at home. Every stay here is an unforgettable experience. The hotel's luxurious decor and meticulously designed details showcase their unparalleled care for guests. Whether it's the comfortable rooms or luxurious facilities, I feel an unmatched sense of enjoyment. Apart from the charm of the hotel itself, I am deeply fascinated by Penang. I love strolling through the city's streets, exploring its rich and colorful culture and history. From street food to ancient buildings, every corner is full of surprises and charm. And after a day of exploration, being able to return to the embrace of The Prestige Hotel and enjoy their unparalleled hospitality is a source of happiness and satisfaction. The staff here are not just servers; they are like friends to me. They always listen to my needs attentively and strive to make me feel comfortable and satisfied. Therefore, I deeply love Penang and The Prestige Hotel. They have created unforgettable experiences for me time and time again, filling me with endless love and longing for this city.

The hotel is very old located in the center of George Twon closer to seaside. I have booked family room. Space and lay out is ok but 2 issues, 1 the inner parents room has a large empty space by the window (seaview the say but hardly seeing tho) we were puzzled why no pair of sofa chairs with a tea table, what is this space for? Super odd... 2 the connecting door for two rooms doesn't close well, not saying the lock doesn't work, no no, the door can't even able to be fully shut. Services is almost zero. Don't count on it. All in all besides the location and fact has family room options, I don't have anything else to write home about this hotel. Oh and the sound proof is zero too, not saying between our 2 rooms. I basically had bad sleep whole 4 nights stay cos outside in the hall almost never stopped having doors open/shutting and people loudly talking/walking by noises... Won't book again.

The hotel is such a gem. Very clean and well refurbished. The check-in and check-out procedures are simple and room rate inclusive of complimentary breakfast, the breakfast taste good and got many options. Really enjoyed staying here, as the location is strategic too. However, there is one karaoke place at the opposite, noises can be heard.

Super pulito e nuovo hotel con vibes moderne ❤️❤️ Amorevole con la semplicità di questo hotel ancora così comodo. Grazie per il colazione complimentare gratuito durante il nostro soggiorno. Solo il tasso di parcheggio un po 'costo, ma la posizione piuttosto strategica, quindi non un grande problema. Sicuramente ripeterà il soggiorno qui

E&O is our favourite hotel in Penang. Being a local Penangite, we frequently ate at Sarkies and even had our wedding in this hotel 10 years ago. We're back in this hotel for our anniversary, however we were a little disappointed with our stay. The bathtub in our corner suite is extremely dirty and stained. We asked the housekeepers to clean it as we wanted to use it. Worse of all, when we filled the tub with water, to our horror, the water was brown in colour!! Not sure if there is proper maintenance done to ensure the water supply is not tainted. The housekeepers also did not refill the complimentary mini bar items despite stating that our suite includes replenishment of the mini bar items on a daily basis. The surface area and tables were not wiped properly as well when they came to clean the room. We hope the management would seriously look into this matter, especially on the water source and overall cleanliness of the suite / bathroom.

Viaggiando con i miei genitori, mi piace la colazione a buffet che offrono 🍳 È vicino a Mural Art Street, al Surname Bridge e ad altre attrazioni, e ci sono molte opzioni di cibo nelle vicinanze! Ho prenotato due camere doppie e il negozio ha disposto stanze adiacenti con porte al centro per comunicare tra loro, il che è molto comodo per prendersi cura degli anziani👍

First time here, even though corridors outside the room were quite narrow, everything else was okay. A minus point would be The sound proofing isnt that great, you can hear your neighbours TV and people walking outside. so if you need a quiet good rest i’d suggest getting the higher tiered room. Free drinks and snacks in a clean tidy room. Everything you could ask for in a hotel. Will come back again.

Stayed for four nights. They kindly granted me a complimentary room upgrade upon request from a superior room to a deluxe room at 20th floor which has a good sea view - thank you! My room was new and housekeeping does a great job to keep impeccably clean. They provided free toiletries items like toothbrush, showcap, disposable slippers though I did not use all. There are two bottles of drinking water which are replenished everyday. Parking is free and “advanced” in the sense that it is automated through a car park lift system which you rarely see elsewhere in this country. The lobby is at 20th floor, and there is a restaurant at the 21st floor. The swimming pool is at 22th floor with a gym on the same floor too. Some issues that I encountered or would like to feedback: 1) the holder of the shower head was loose and caused the shower head to push up when water pressure was on and thus not showering the person, and when water was turned off, the shower head dropped to the floor when the water pressure was suddenly gone. Great that they rectified it upon feedback at the reception. 2) the drainage at the washroom basin was not draining well. The facility maintenance could do something about this to improve the experience. 3) I requested for a fruit cutter knife at the reception as I will need to cut some fruits but was rejected, quoting that they do not send cutleries, even though they have a cafe on one floor above, due to “halal” concerns. My question is, then do they allow non Muslims to eat at their cafe since the non Muslims do not have eat all halal food? The reason given is amusing, for such an international hotel brand. 4) they could have done better with their cafe/restaurant with such a great view of the Georgetown - will be happy to see they put in more effort. Nonetheless, I am happy with my stay. Great location, great room and value for money.

Ottima posizione che offre ai viaggiatori comodità. A pochi passi da molti ristoranti e Art Street. Il centro commerciale 1st avenue proprio accanto ha molti servizi come cinema, karaoke, negozi, caffè, farmacie e supermercati. Siamo stati qui per 2 notti e 1 notte in un altro hotel sul mare che costa il doppio ma mi piace di più l'hotel Jen per la sua posizione perfetta. La tv via cavo ha alcuni canali tra cui il calcio, ma sarà fantastico se in futuro avrai Netflix o YouTube. Nel complesso soggiorno molto piacevole.

Very Strategic location to have many access to a lot of places by walking distances. Easy to get to anywhere as its located in the central of the Penang island, lots of good food and local hawkers can be easily access from the hotel location. have great view of the Komtar tower and the city of light, beautiful and stunning. although its a refurbished building, but it has been very well kept and maintained. Maybe the facility floor of the swimming pool and the bar, might have rooms for improvement. The swimming pool looks very old, despite the taste of infinity pool, doesnt match the 4stars hotel standard, and the bar looks like a local bar with no proper standard. We shall look into the standard of St Giles is other states or country.
