A little tired and outdated, restaurant staff excellent but not enough of them

A bit far from anything so had to use the car every day. But everyone was so nice, and so helpful.

Hotel is tired and in need of updating. Air conditioning was not working when I checked in and not repaired until the night before I left. I was told I could move but decided I would deal with it. Housekeeping did make up the bed each day, empty trash but I was provided a frayed towel one day. Probably the worst situation was when I arrived back to my room on the day of the air conditioning repair to find the door ajar. I do not know if it was the housekeeping or maintenance staff that left it open.
Each of the front desk staff individuals did try to help. The first night the "bellman" did try to get the air started.
I did appreciate the "quiet hours" after 11 PM as my neighbors were quite loud. Just a tough stay. Also I am curious as to how long it will take to refund the deposit.

A very quiet hotel but needs renovations. The carpet had a huge wrinkle in it running the length of the room. The bathroom was very small. There is no elevator and no breakfast. For $190/ night it is way overpriced.

I will stay at Inn on the Lake again. Beautiful view of the lake, near the airport and Halifax.

As always, the room was spotless, comfortable and quiet. The staff is consistently attentive and professional.
