It was few of us so we had 3 rooms. What you see on the internet is not what you get. The hotel should be 5 stars. There’s no hot water, I know is hot weather but you want hot water at the times. The “restaurant “ is literally the worse, didn’t have a lot of things on the menu and every time you order the answer is “I’m sorry we don’t have that” and if you try to order something from the kids menu, they will tell you “NO, That’s only for kids and you are not a kid” haha! For real. Pool was cloudy, floor in the bathroom very slippery. The spa for each room almost empty and water was cloudy as well. The soap dispenser In the rooms did not work. Is very peaceful yes, I just wish they will make you want to stay longer or eat inside instead of going out for every single meal. No fridge or microwave in the room and you have prohibited bring any type of food from outside. Wonder how if they never have anything from the menu!!! Acantilados next door is WAY BETTER !

per una lunga notte, per un lungo lancio in El Salvador, siamo rimasti in questo hotel, ma mi ha lasciato voler tornare. Dal servizio via e-mail con le direzioni per la nostra arrivo e il trasferimento dall'aeroporto all'hotel, nonché check-in/out e cena al ristorante Los Baucones. Il servizio di Elizabeth Estrada, che chiarisce le nostre dubbi per posta elettronica, vale la pena menzionare, rendendo il nostro soggiorno molto tranquillo. Hotel con eccellente struttura, sicurezza, piscina, ristorante e bar. A pochi passi dall'aeroporto di El Salvador, offreno servizi di navetta aereo/hotel/aeroporto dalle 5:00 alle 11:00. InterContinental San Salvador - Metrocentro Mall My husband and I stayed here November 2021 for our anniversary. The hotel is in a perfect location with direct access to the Metrocentro Mall and many other things to do in this amazing city. The staff and front desk were extremely courteous and helpful. The hotel was extremely clean and very equipped with social distancing signage and hand sanitizer stations throughout the hotel. Room: My husband and I are InterContinental Ambassadors, so we received a guaranteed upgrade. The room itself had a wonderful view of the city and the Metrocentro Mall. It still remained super quiet in spite of the close proximity to the shopping centers. The room was clean, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was very modern, and the shower/tub had great water pressure. My only complaint was that the water temperature often varied from lukewarm to hot depending on the time of day. Onsite Dinning: The onsite restaurants were okay for last minute dinning, but nothing was memorable considering the price. During our stay, we dined at the Faisca do Brasil and Picasso. The other restaurant Nau lounge was closed during our stay. Again, if you are looking for better fine-dining options, try Brutto El Salvador, La Gastroteca, or La Melangerie. In addition, do not be afraid to dine at some of the delicious local restaurants in the city center. Pool/Gym/Spa: The pool and gym were both small but workable and the spa services were magnificent and really great for the value. My masseuse was magnificent, and the spa treatments were PERFECT! Just make sure you book your treatments upon arrival because spa slots fill up quickly. Overall, the hotel made our stay in San Salvador extremely comfortable. I do believe that while some improvements to the dining options can be made, the hotel overall is quite solid and the hotel’s location cannot be beat. My husband and I would definitely stay here again.
