Lobby is nicer than most Hampton Inns that I have been to. Tall tables have place to plug in computer, very good. Shower is very good, nice water flow, nice fixture as shower head, enjoyable experience. Heating and air conditioner work well. Extra tall mirror which is the door to the closet in the room is a nice feature. Refrigerator is taller than standard little cube refrigerator at a lot of hotels. Clientele at the hotel seemed nice and well mannered during my stay, and that is not something that is always the case in my travels. The window treatments allow one to make the room dark for sleep which I like. The Wi Fi works well. What I did not like: 1. Years ago, Hampton Inn had fresh fruit available for breakfast; I would not call the uncut apples, uncut oranges, and banana in a large bowl, with only plastic knives.....fresh fruit. I am talking about nice cut up fruit not the fruit cup in syrup in little containers in the refrigerator. So I think this is likely a system wide situation. I also think hard boiled eggs should be available. The cereal selection is very limited and in 3 cannisters. I would say to buy some items at Publix and put them in your refrigerator. The complimentary breakfast at Hampton Inns over the years has gone from desirable with healthy selections to now items like waffles and so on. 2. The rooms are depressing. There needs to be recessed lighting in the ceilings, otherwise the rooms are too dark, even with the lamps. The windows are not wide enough and this adds to the depressing lack of lighting in the room. There was a time when going to a hotel was fun and sort of a luxury, however this Hampton Inn is not such an experience. Granted my comments are system wide construction decisions and if the business plan is to reduce costs and maintain affordability then I understand that rationale. 3. There are some/a few Hampton Inns that seem a bit more upscale than this one, and the perhaps the majority of the chain that are more like this one, I would say this particular Hampton Inn has a nicer lobby/eating space than many others. 4. Elevator probably needs a deep clean. I would say this hotel deserves an "average" rating. That would probably be the rating for most outfits in this price range. The nicer lobby does not merit a higher rating in my view, though I do acknowledge it.

We have used this hotel twice (summer 2022 and 2023). They have excellent service, rooms, breakfast and pool. It is very close to Tampa and Clearwater. There are great restaurants around and also Walmart and Publix are very close. Do not hesitate to enjoy this hotel.

Needed to watch a concert in Tampa (Bayanihan and Arts Events Center) and needed a place to stay overnight. We chose this place and no regrets - it's clean and staff very accommodating. Free breakfast and while they have ample parking, first time to see a reserved parking for Hilton Honors Diamond Members. Early check-in is super plus! Like before 2:00pm and Joyce (at the Front Desk) rocks!!! We asked for when we can have our late lunch and she recommended Whiskey Wings and handed over a $5 discount coupon. Will keep this location in mind and will not hesitate to stay here again. By the way, shameless plug, we were there to watch REO Brothers perform. Check them in out in Youtube :)

The hotel felt secure, well lit parking lot with plenty of parking. Clean hotel, relatively quiet. Breakfast was nothing special but above par in comparison to other hotels. Staff were very friendly, professional and did their jobs. Would stay here again!!

A mother/daughter Mother's day weekend was enhanced by choosing to stay at Hampton Inn & Suites NW Tampa/Oldsmar. The staff was professional, courteous and considerate, the facility was well maintained, the rooms and bathrooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast offered had a variety of selections and the food was fresh and tasty. The hotel is located just a block away from the Oldsmar Flea Market which is one of the reasons I selected this hotel. I would give this hotel and staff 10 or even 100 stars if I could. Well worth the price and everyone went out of their way to make our stay pleasurable and memorable.

My sons, husband and I traveled down to the area for a family vacation and chose this hotel initially for the benefits of Hampton Inns, breakfast and free parking. From the time we arrived I was very impressed. Our check in was very quick. Sammie was working the front desk nearly every evening during our stay and was more than accommodating. Everything we needed she made happen including assisting with internet issues on our TV and getting us pool towels even though they were out and didn't have many available. The breakfast attendants each morning have been excellent. I work at a hotel and wish I could bring them back woth me to work for our Hampton Inn. Not sure on names but one from London and the other with darker hair were just friendly, well accommodating and went above and beyond to not just keep breakfast full and clean but to talk to the guests eating. I seen the one from London handle a very rude guests with ease and politeness. I am impressed! The pool area actually had a working hot tub. Super rare in nearly every other state and the area was clean and well kept. My sons had a blast and we will definitely return here each time we are in the area. Perhaps when I move next year might just apply!

I would like to take give praise to the team at the Hampton Inn, The staff was wonderful very warm and inviting. Kim was a joy to talk with, she and the front desk staff are awesome. my friends and I will be back..Thank you Hampton Inn

i had maintenance in my room 5 times during my 2 night stay. just to turn on and off the tv. the front desk lied and said i was offered a room change. they think men coming into 2 women room at night is ok to turn off the tv. they told me i could not have a refund because i booked thru priceline. i complained to priceline and manager lied and said i was offered a room change and said no. also said i was happy with 5000 points. i pursued a refund with priceline did not get because manager said i was happy with the outcome. priceline believes the manager not guest. do not use priceline
