Solid little hotel for a couple days in the city. Lots of eateries and coffee shops right outside (walk the block to Jennivees for fantastic cakes and baked treats), some close shopping, record stores, and right around the corner from the Vic.
Rooms were fine, building is older and there was some buckling tile in the bathroom, but it wasn't a huge problem for us, just caught us out at first. Bed was comfy. Theres definitely street noise and noise from the El train if you're a light sleeper, and part of the El is under construction near the room we were in, but it wasn't a problem for us.
I think the only complaint I could really mention is the minibar fridge is stuffed full so it was awkward to fit in a bottle of water we had brought.

We liked spaciousness and older style. Bathroom was beautiful.
Online seemed to indicate breakfast was included, but it was not. Maybe an old posting. but still was not clear.

This hotel is in a really nice city neighborhood and has unmatched access to The Vic. My husband and I were in town for a concert at The Vic and there were plenty of food options.
The room was clean, staff was friendly, and the mini bar was shockingly not too overpriced.
FYI - If you are driving in, the closest lot (and the one that the hotel staff directs you to) is the venue garage. So plan to pay $49 every time you leave the parking garage and plan to have limited parking availability if there is an event going on at The Vic.

Loved the funky space, comfy beds and artsy bathroom. The location couldn't be better. The area is fun to explore and it's easy to get where you need to go.

Very convenient stay near The Vic Theater. Was a basic accommodation right next to The El, so it’s noisy. It was good for a place to sleep for the night.

It was a nice stay. Quiet most of the time. Until pipes bang on the walls. Sometimes I can hear other people. Beside that it was great. People where nice; specially cleaning crew.

This hotel is unsafe. The door to my room barely shut all the way and the deadbolt was broken. I had to shove the couch against the door to feel somewhat safe. Also, the front entrance gives an illusion of safety, however I saw many non-guests enter and just walk around. The towels in my room had blonde hairs all over it and I’m a brunette so.. I was so exhausted when I got there that I didn’t do more investigating or call for a room switch but it was very unsettling. All in all, if you are like me and you’re a young woman worried about being safe, this is not the hotel for you!!!
