Hotel a Cedofeita, Portogallo

Checked in on 18/04/23 for a birthday treat with a friend. Staff were very courteous, nothing too much trouble. Hotel was spotlessly clean, and breakfast was plentiful. My roommate forgot her toothbrush and was given a free toothbrush and toothpaste. Happily printed off our boarding passes for us for our flights home. 10/10

Ho soggiornato in questo hotel per tre notti in maggio 2022. L’ho scelto per le buone recensioni e per la vicinanza sia alla metro che al centro storico. Lo staff della reception é stato cordiale e l’addetta alle colazioni molto attenta e sempre col sorriso . La colazione era come tanti altri hotel a tre stelle, con dolce, salato, della frutta e verdura fresche, yogurt, cereali, succo d’arancia e macchinetta x bevande calde. La struttura non era di recente costruzione, ma sicuramente era stata rimodernata dove possibile. La camera standard era confortevole e il bagno aveva una doccia molto spaziosa. Unica pecca la polvere,che al primo impatto non dava nell’occhio, ma osservando bene, c’erano tanti dettagli trascurati sicuramente da giorni ( ad esempio era molto evidente sotto il letto e su tutti i bordi del battiscopa)… A parte questo dettaglio, la stanza ( che ho chiesto affacciata sul retro x avere più silenzio), era di buono standard, con letto comodo.Consiglio di soggiornare qui x la posizione tranquilla e non lontana a tanti servizi e attrazioni.

The hotel is much better than we expected. Staff are so friendly and helpful when we need them. The room is so clean and comfortable that we find it very relaxing 😌. Breakfast are excellent and so fresh. It located at the quiet area. Love this hotel a lot and will definitely come back when we can.

E' stata una grande esperienza.

Comfortable rooms and location easy enough to get into all parts of the city using Uber, which are very reasonable and cost around 3 euros to the furthest point at the river. You could walk but my father has some mobility issues and the uber was much faster, allowing us to expore poroto without tiring from the walk into town. The hotel is kept well, is cosy and inviting once inside, dont be put off by the exterior. Rooms were very well designed for the price bracket. Attention to detail of items in the bathroom need to be addressed though. Soap dish was loose on the wall as was the faucet on the bathroom sink. Small details that bring an otherwise very nice room below its potential. Although a little firm for me, I still slept very well on the bed. No external noise heard and quiet and effective air conditioning. The safe was an issue for me. We had 2 rooms and the safe was not bolted into the wardrobe, you could remove the safe if you wanted to. This makes the safe redundant and concerned me. The front desk also do not have their own safe for guest valuables. However we had no issued and our belongings remained untouched. The hotels did lock our belongings into a storage room on our last day. I would definitely stay here again and I think this hotel offers both an element of luxury whilst remaining a mid priced option. The staff were also very helpful and attentive.

La camera è perfetta con vista all'aperto e confortevole all'interno. La location dell'hotel è molto conveniente per andare alle viste. I dipendenti sono professionali. Grazie per tutti.

This is my second times to be here in Porto I know this hotel is new this year and everything seems very perfect for me, the environment, the service from the reception, the attitude for from all the colleges as it belongs to Marriott group I can confirm the hotel level is satisfactory to the group, but the most critical point for me is the water flow from the tap in the washing basin and also the showerhead. It’s extremely slow and nearly to 0 I had a really bad experience when I took a shower, and also when I would like to wash something from the washing basin  I feel a pity for it I hope next time the hotel can improve it otherwise, I will not take my 3rd time here

Anche se su booking dicono che il check-in viene fatto nel pomeriggio. Noi abbiamo chiamato la mattina alle 8 e la signora che ci ha risposto al telefono, anche se non parlava ne italiano ne inglese, un po' di spagnolo lo sapeva. Così ci siamo messi d'accordo e fatto l'ingresso in mattinata dopo un ora. Arrivati al albergo troviamo una dolcissima vecchietta ( la signora con quale ci siamo accordati per telefono ) e sorpresa quando siamo saliti nella stanza. Un upgrade da una stanza con letti singoli uno sopra l'altro. A una bellissima matrimoniale al ultimo piano sotto tetto. La stanza molto pulita e silenziosa. Ci siamo goduti un meritevole riposo dopo la caminata sotto la pioggia. Al check-out la bella signora della struttura alle tre di notte e uscita fino alla reception per salutarci. Ottimo WiFi. Excelente servicio calidad / precio. Se trata de apartamentos turísticos, no es un hotel. No obstante, todo nuevo y lo más importante, limpio y céntrico. Lo que menos me gustó fue que la hora de entrada es a las 16 horas. Se hace todo a través de email, el dia de llegada por la mañana mandan todas las claves para entrar tanto al edificio como a la habitación. La respuesta e interacción es inmediata por lo que el servicio, a pesar de no tener recepción, es correcto. En mi caso, reservé estudio y viene con todo lo básico. También hay algunos canales de TV internacionales, wifi, aire caliente funciona. Si siguen así repetiremos sin duda.

Typical of the Portuguese Hotels we have had on our Bunnik tour on the Portuguese leg. Stairs and no ramp to get suitcases into the hotel and a bit if a shortage of staff to help. No tea and coffee or free water in the room only one free plug on one side of a double bed. Our bathroom toiletries was a shower cap but there were squeeze bottles of shower gel,shampoo and bath gel attached to the shower. Only one glass in the room although we were in a room for couples; there were 2 small ones in the bathroom. The tiny glasses allowed you to have some water to brush your teeth so you don't bang your head on the overhead cupboard mirror which is totally unnecessary since it doesn't hold anything. The basin was so shallow that you dare not leave it running long. There was a bidet if you need one, otherwise it just takes up valuable bathroom realestate. One of the few hotels without a pool and reliable WiFi in our room. No news in English. but old movies overdubbed in Portuguese. I was told that they were working on upgrading their WiFi. On the plus side, the room was clean, breakfast was plentiful with a good range of food. Thr staff as helpful as as was possible. The area is good for access to art galleries and eateries.
