Outstanding stay in this beautiful jewel of a hotel. The staff is exemplary in every way--incredibly accommodating and kind at every turn. Our room/suite was clean and wonderfully equipped with small details including a desk with multiple types of outlets. Breakfast, snacks, and beverages were plentiful and generous. The location is perfect--Recoleta is gorgeous, retaining a French/European vibe. There are great restaurants, galleries and shopping nearby, and it's an easy walk to Recoleta Cemetery and the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes. Algodon's staff is priceless--truly making this beautiful hotel the perfect stay for BA. I will definitely stay here again on a return trip.

Fui a Sofitel un fin de semana, esperando pasar a solas unos buenos momentos con mi esposo, dejando a nuestros hijos en Uruguay con mi suegra (8 y 5 años). Al entrar a la piscina el pelo se me tiñó de verde. Perdí tres horas del domingo, dejando a mi esposo almorzando solo, para ir a una peluquería, donde el colorista me informó q fue debido al cloro de la piscina. La respuesta del hotel fue q al otro día (lunes)iban a estudiar el ph de la piscina, cuando se sabe que la piscina se filtra todos los días o debería. Al otro día nos mandaron un mail diciendo q el estudio de ph dió correcto (no mostrando ninguna prueba, solo lo escribieron). Al tener muy pocos momentos para poder disfrutar solos, lo q me pasó en éste hotel fue un desastre y una desilusión al ser un hotel de 5 estrellas y de una cadena tan grande. Tuve que pagar 9900 pesos argentinos en la peluquería, y el hotel no solo no ofreció pagar la peluquería ni tampoco reconocieron la situación vivida. Nunca más piso ese hotel, un desastre.

Only stayed one night while passing through Buenos Aires. Very nice hotel, staff was extremely helpful, room was comfortable, and it's location is ideal for wandering around the city. I also ate at the bar that night, delicious food and great service there as well. Definitely enjoyed my stay even if it was short.

La posizione dell'hotel è molto buona, molto vicino alla libreria ateniese. Anche il ristorante dell'hotel è buono, e la cena e la colazione sono tutte consumate in hotel. Il gruppo di gestione di Accor. Il personale di servizio dell'hotel è molto entusiasta. Ho anche fatto una SPA in hotel e la tecnologia è a posto. L'unico piccolo rammarico è quello di consultare l'hotel prima di recarsi in hotel per la tariffa del taxi dall'aeroporto all'hotel. L'hotel non lo dice, ma consiglio vivamente il servizio di trasferimento dall'aeroporto dell'hotel. . . L'Argentina è davvero a buon mercato! La ventola di scarico del bagno è rumorosa e l'uscita dell'aria è rivolta verso il letto, quindi non oso accenderla di notte. . . Paura di farlo esplodere.

This hotel has a great location. Two blocks from plaza San Martin and the red tourism bus stop #11. a very walkable with eateries, restaurants and convenience stores all within a block. Right next door is a nice church. The place is super clean and breakfast has a great many things to pick from. There is a pool on the 12th floor as well as a sauna and exercise room. Pool towels available in reception.

Abbiamo avuto 5 giorni , eccellente tutto. buona posizione,il personale molto gentile, di tutto l'hotel, la colazione molto buona , le mezzalune straordinarie !! Jaja super ricchi. Affidamento pulito, che mi migliorerebbe: le cuscinetti sono spese ... ma ho chiesto di cambiarla e mi hanno riposato un altro, la TV. è vecchio il sistema di convertitore ... quasi non vediamo la TV. andrebbe di nuovo. più di questo mi piace e lo consiglio.

I've been staying at Air B& B's since 2017, being La Habana; Cuba my first experience ever so Trip Advisor (finally) is great to see I can now review Air BB's and by the way just a ”constructive” criticism more ”categories” should be added: trains, airlines etc. (just saying). Here we go: As a native Argentinean I go home at least once a year to visit my family, obvioulsy 90 % of the time to & from Buenos Aires, not I'm not from B.A. (Buenos Aires) but I either fly to or from to continue my trip to my hometown. My last time there I stayed at Top Rentals Buenos Aires, my very first time using this company and I must say I was really impressed ! The property is located on Esmeralda Street so centrally located is within walking distance pretty much anywhere downtown, super safe, always be mindful of your surroundings like everywhere else and do please ( can't type all caps) but NO flashy jewelry or nothing fancy while on the streets. The check in process is located in one of the upper floors of the Building Complex, but upon arrival the security officer at the lobby will give you specific instructions where to go. Rooms are so spacious, clean, beautiful views of the area and a small balcony to sip your malbecs, with the River Plate on the background. The staff is super attentive, apartments comes with toiletries, towels, and utensils for cooking, but really ?? You are in The Paris of South America so who will want to cook ? I couldn’t use the pool too cold for me. I highly recommend it you won't regret it, so good this place is that with my luck!!! One of the South American Presidents (don't know whom) decided to stay in that same building at the time of my visit, no wonder why there were so many police and security so if this place is good enough for a president of country I'm guessing is good enough for us to!! We were on an extended trip that not included BA but Iguazu in the North all the way down to Antarctica. We used the Sheraton as our ”base” camp if you will. We stayed 3 times over the course of almost 4 weeks. The team here was very gracious and helpful. They allowed us to store our bags while gone (i.e. leave the hot clothes or the cold clothes depending on which direction we were going). Everyone was very helpful. The rooms were of good size. Only thing to look out for is the Air conditioners. I think they have them on motion detectors so if the room is empty they are off, but if you are moving around they come on. Never was fond of this technology as it can get hot at night while sleeping, and best we could tell there was no way to override the system. Regardless, the location is fine, near many things like the train station, the cruise port, the domestic airport etc. Good area to walk around in. The Concierge lounge is average, nothing over the top but very sufficient. All in all we had very nice stays and will stay here again on future trips.

Siamo arrivati ieri sera dopo un volo di notte... la nostra compagnia turistica Condor Travel ha organizzato un check-in precoce alle 0830, che è stato molto utile. La stanza è pulita e ha una grande doccia. Purtroppo il rumore della stanza dal aria condizionata era molto alto durante la notte. Possiamo anche sentire l'ascensore... e penso che il ristorante per colazione debba essere sopra di noi, perché siamo svegliati alle 4:00 con musica... perché torneremo presto dopo pochi giorni... chiederemo una stanza migliore. L'uomo di manutenzione era brillante... non potevamo ottenere la sicurezza per chiudere o l'aria condizionata per lavorare... abbiamo messo una chiamata nel ricevimento e entro 10 minuti era tutto ordinato... grazie. Mangiamo nel ristorante principale per pranzo la salada Caesar era di prima classe e il sandwich club è abbastanza grande per 2 con patatine.

Croissant e pasticceria, a mio avviso, piuttosto stoppacciosi e, quindi, assai poco invitanti. Servizi anonimi, fai da te anche per il bagaglio all'arrivo e alla partenza. Alta affluenza che rende i due ascensori assolutamente insufficienti.

Il migliore dell'hotel è la sua posizione, dato che è situato nel quartiere di Recoleta. Ma l'hotel stesso non ha soddisfatto le mie aspettative, soprattutto se lo mette in termini di rapporto prezzo/qualità. L'infrastruttura dell'hotel è abbastanza fondamentale, gli spazi comuni sono molto ridotti, i loro corridoi e soprattutto gli ascensori che sono super angosciati. La camera è di piccola superficie (che comunque chiariscono nella offerta del soggiorno). Qualcosa di buono è il bagno, che è comodo. La pulizia è una cosa da sottolineare, tutto è molto pulito. La colazione è abbastanza ampia nella vostra offerta di cibo, ma non è di qualità, insisto, soprattutto se lo mette in relazione prezzo/qualità del soggiorno.

Loved this hotel - 6 stars! The staff was amazing, helpful in every way. There is a Dolar Blue money exchange right next door. The location was perfect and in a good location. Our room overlooked the Recoleta Cemetery. An entire block of outdoor restaurants were just around the corner, a mall is across the street, the Hop On Hop Off bus stop is walking distance, the park with Sunday fair is also very close. We arrived at 8:00 a.m., so our room wasn't ready (which we expected), but they have a shower and changing room adjacent to their exercise room that we were able to use. We stayed two nights, then flew to the interior for 12 days of hiking, then returned to this hotel. They kept a piece of non-hiking luggage in storage for us for the 12 days at no cost. We would definitely stay here again.
