This was a lovely hostel. When we first arrived we were early for check in but the receptionist let us check in anyway! The staff were lovely and chatty. We got shown our room which was great. The beds were comfy and had curtains for privacy! The lockers had so much space which was brilliant. The toilet lights were a bit faulty and the wifi kept cutting out but apart from that it was a pleasant stay. The kitchen was well equipped with an oven, toaster, kettle, tea and coffee for guests, fridge and a cooker. When checking out they let us leave our bags after check out as we had a late train. The location is fantastic also. There are many shops nearby and you are close to the main attractions. It was so loud outside at night because there is a bar right below the rooms but it wasn’t an inconvenience! I would recommend this hostel to any travellers and would stay again!

Not a hostel to get any sleep in. But excellent for the airport bus. Hostel is on a busy main road, lots of traffic noise. Privacy curtains aren't well attached and don't block enough light. The beds are incredibly noisy and the room was hot and stuffy. Sheets not cleaned Service was excellent. The man was so so friendly and kind. Kitchen well equipped. Free tea & coffee. Shower very basic and toilet was good. Just 2 showers and toilets for many people. ... 100E bus is 2 mins away. Metro, tram and bus all nearby. Tone of food options. Wifi was ok Towel is 3 euros to rent. Bring your own padlock

Great location. Very central for travel to and from airport as downtown and on main road. Slot of food options a stone's throw away. Initial entry can be awkward as you aren't given a code and there's no bell to ring. I was lucky a group of friends were entering to go and apartment they'd rented when I arrived so they let me in and I was able to go upstairs to the hostel. Guy on duty was really friendly and very helpful. I stayed in the ensuite and whilst it was great , the ceiling possibly needed a lick of paint as there was a watermark and the bathroom showerhead needed cleaning as it had a limescale build up. This aside the room was great. I'd definitely stay again

Ik zou drie overnachten in het hostel ik krijg mijn kamer toegewezen het leek een hele andere kamer te zijn dat ik geboekt had ik had een eenvoudige tweepersoonskamer met een privé badkamer geboekt maar ik krijg blijkbaar en twinroom waarbij ik onze “privé badkamer” moest delen met iemand naast mij. dat was niet de bedoeling want ik zou een privé badkamer hebben die ik met niemand zou moet delen echter heb ik hem gewoon moeten delen met een ander daarbij zou er ook een parkeerplaats bij het hostel zitten voor maar acht euro per dag maar helaas vertellen de manager dat er geen parkeerplek is bij het hostel en ik moest vervolgens 10 minuten rijden om mijn auto te kunnen parkeren voor € 30 per dag in plaats van acht euro per dag. Ook zou een kluisje aanwezig zijn bij de receptie maar die waren helaas niet ze waren kapot ze moest een nieuwe bestellen en die waren niet aangekomen dus ik had ook geen ruimte om mijn belangrijke spullen achter te laten in een kluisje. De kamer die ik gekregen had (niet de oorspronkelijke kamer die ik geboekt had) bleek ook totaal niet op de foto’s die op de website staan als je een kamer boeken daarbij Rook de kamer erg vies en de gordijnen die er hingen waren veel te kort en de verkeerde kleur geel om het licht buiten te houden, ‘s nachts als je wilde slapen was het eigenlijk gewoon hartstikke verlicht met de lampen buiten op straat aan waren ook was er geen dubbelglas dus je komt letterlijk alles horen tot zeven uur ‘s ochtends ik heb daardoor niet kunnen slapen. Toen ik mijn kamer toegewezen krijg gaf ik aan dat dit niet de kamer is die geboekt had en dat ik recht heb op een privé badkamer daar heb ik voor betaald omdat ik het ook met niemand wil delen echter vertelde hij mij dat ik dat die kamer niet beschikbaar was En dat ik mijn badkamer gewoon met iemand anders moest delen maar wel gaf deze man aan dat het Hostel verkeerde informatie doorgeeft aan bijvoorbeeld website zoals ******* zodat je eigenlijk iets boekt wat ze helemaal niet aanbieden. Het enige positieve was dan ook dat deze man die daar werkt hartstikke vriendelijk was en eerlijk toegaf dat is dat zijn Hostel waar hij voor werkt verkeerde informatie doorgeeft en dat andere mensen het verkeerde kunnen boeken zoals ik gedaan had. Om deze reden raad ik dit hostel niet aan je wordt voorgelogen voordat je iets boekt je krijgt eigenlijk iets totaal anders en het is echt verschrikkelijk. Deze ervaring is ook de reden dat ik een dag eerder naar huis ben vertrokken en mijn verlies maar heb genomen.

표지판이 없어서 숙소 찾기도 힘들었음. 호스텔이란 핑계로 청소도 안 해주고, 수건 교체도 추가 비용 요구.

Ostello economico, posizione ottima e molto comoda per visitare la città, è davvero in centrissimo. Il personale è gentile e c'è la possibilità di cucinarsi. A parte questo, tutto il resto è un disastro. Le stanze non hanno le serrande o tapparelle, ci sono solo tende impolverate che lasciano passare la luce (c'è un lampione esterno che riflette esattamente sulla finestra), e i rumori della strada e la luce non lasciano dormire. Gli spazi nelle stanze sono strettissimi, l' arredamento è vecchio e malandato e soprattutto è successo qualcosa che non dovrebbe mai succedere in un posto che dovrebbe invece ospitarti: è caduto l'armadio attaccato al muro esattamente sopra il letto, per fortuna in quel momento non eravamo seduti o allungati (sarebbe successa una tragedia). Potete osservare nella foto caricata, specifico che l'armadio non lo avevamo neppure riempito. Il personale ha poi rimosso l'armadio senza neanche scusarsi o capire la gravità dell'accaduto, ci ha detto che avrebbero parlato con il "boss" ma poi non ci hanno fatto sapere più nulla. Come da titolo: mai più.

Very basic, cheap accommodation at a great location. Very convenient to/from the airport. The 100E bus from the airport stops almost in front of the building. Phone or doorbell kept ringing early dawn with nobody at the reception desk and I could hear it in our room, even though it was far away. Then some construction or repair work started early morning when they were drilling the walls or something. Impossible to sleep.

Very helpful and kind service, cozy place and room was clean. Everything is near. Weekend night was noisy, 'cause there is bar understairs, but we still slept well.

A- a great location, a 10 minute walk from the city centre; B- basic but met our needs for a 2 night stay S- small, furniture needed moving in order to get into bathroom; O- overall, reasonably clean (bathroom, communal spaces etc); L- loud to the early hours but to be expected with location; U- unclear signage to access the hostel; T- the location is great and makes the rest worthwhile

La reception è in ritardo e non funziona la mattina presto. Sono andato a depositare i bagagli presto e ho aspettato per un'ora, ma non ho ricevuto risposta, quindi ho rinunciato alla tariffa dell'alloggio e ho prenotato un altro alloggio. Ci sono troppe persone che bevono e urlano all'ingresso dell'ostello, quindi è una zona pericolosa. Non usarlo mai.

The location is amazing! Just in the middle of Pest and close to almost all landmarks. If you don’t want to walk it is also 1 min away from transportation options such as subway and bus includes airport bus. The staff was very friendly and was helpful to meet our needs. It was very nice to see smiling faces when coming in or going out in the lobby. In the hostel they have a kitchen with all suppliers if you want to cook and a separated room what has two coffee machines, two microwaves and few chairs with a table to have your food there. They also provide the coffee, sugar etc. If I visit Budapest in the future again, I will not search any other place to stay Absolut’ly ❤️ Thank you Absolut City for making our trip unforgettable.

in the middle of the down town with a central transportation the building and the stairs are too old and need refurbushing
