Hotel a 3 stelle a Brisbane

Awful, there isn’t any other way to describe it. Do not stay here, everything is completely run down. No maintenance at all the place hasn’t ever seen a paint brush. Checked in then checked out within 10 mins, made sure I got a refund, the managed (presume) I dealt with -completely understood and couldn’t give me my money back any quicker. On arrival I could see the kitchen was filthy and small, upon walking to my room I was confronted with a man that had thrown up in his top and was holding it in his T-shirt while walking down the stairs. (15:20) Arrived to my ‘box room’ it was a complete state, curtains are stained and don’t cover the windows, the ceiling fan was clinking and clanging and on the verge of coming off. Aircon was non existent, also extremely loud. I can safely say I didn’t bother even entering the showers or toilet faculties- I think that was for the best. Just another hostel that doesn’t care about it’s clients literally just offering a bed to stay for a night and taking your money. Hostel selina , 200 meters round the corner isn't even comparable to this place so don’t waste your money on summer house and go hostel selina. The location is the best aspect I thought The second floor standard double rooms don't get much natural light, the third floor gets much more, so try for these if you're not in a dorm. The 'air freshener' fragrance sticks in the bathroom were really overpowering, so smelly I had to put them outside. Both the shower pressure was good and the water was hot. Some front desk staff were very nice and helpful, others not so I found. Kitchen fridge was jam-packed with not an inch of spare room to put anything in. Good security and nice co-working space I noticed. All in all an OK stay in a convenient location that did the job.

The photographs online do not reflect what the hotel looks like now. The foyer was a worry with the reception desk being enclosed by a wire mesh cage. Why would that be necessary. The front door had one glass side smashed and was replaced by a plywood sheet while we were there.. Front door was therefore not locked at night after staff left. The room was unbelievably tiny with barely enough room between the foot of the bed and the shelf that supported the tv. There was no chair, microwave or toaster. There were two sachets of coffee, three tea bags and two sachets of sugar, and NO milk. Also two sachets of salt. Why ? These items were not replaced on the second night we were there, neither were the towels replaced nor the room made up. There were two mugs, two glasses - one glass and one plastic, one spoon and a stick. There was no other cutlery or crockery. The TV was terrible, and barely worked without losing volume and pixillating. The ”wardrobe” door was missing, the bathroom sliding door had the entire handle missing and was off the runners so it could not be closed. There were no power points that could be used to plug in the kettle except on the shelf where one would normally put clothing.. Our room did not have a window that let in natural light, only a space covered with a mesh grill that looked out on an air shaft where there was two airconditioner compressors which hummed all night. The bathroom was tiny with barely enough room to turn around, but at least we could watch tv while sitting on the toilet. The shower cubicle was a joke - smaller than a phone booth. On the plus side, the staff were very pleasant although their grasp of the language left a bit to be desired. The bed was comfortable and the linen and bathroom towels were clean. I guess you get what you pay for, but we only chose it for its proximity to Roma St station. We will never stay there again and not only will not recommend it to friends, but actively tell people never to go there.

Stavo qui per accedere alla città e aveva una lunga passeggiata lungo il fiume e un passo molto forte verso la parte superiore per arrivare all'hotel, assicurandomi bagagli e telecamere camminando dalla stazione. La camera era un breve spazio più grande di un letto matrimoniale con una piccola camera da bagno e doccia. Mi piaceva il succo, il tè e il caffè, ma mancava una finestra. La camera era pulita e il letto confortevole e era adatto per un soggiorno di notte. C'è un fermo di autobus quasi al contrario e le viste dalle roccia lungo la strada sono sorprendenti

Non consigliere questo hotel a nessuno di rimanere per più di poche ore. I ristoranti più vicini erano circa 1.5 chilometri da l'hotel. La stanza non era super pulita (tole e pavimenti sporchi) e non aveva acqua calda mentre facevo la doccia. La mia stanza ha anche un cazzo di coglione tutta la notte. L'hotel potrebbe essere buono se avete bisogno di un letto economico tra voli, ma non credo che tornerò.
