My stay at the Emporium Hotel was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality that made me feel instantly welcome. Great location and service. Breakfast was amazing but quite busy around 7.30-8. Service at the bar was great as well as good tips from the concierge.

The concierge was extremely poor, drove in with my 7 seaters rented car, and staff simply ignored my existence - didn't even bother to come out to greet us nor offer any help with the luggage, even after telling him that I'll need help - zero awareness and zero service. The luggage trolley is simply an ornament. Excuse me, it's Marriott! Never in my life have i had to experience such an unwelcoming experience. However, the receptionist (wearing spec) was the only person who gave my family a warm welcome, likewise the staff at the buffet. 👍

The service was excellent. Check-in was at 3pm, but we managed to get into the room at 2pm. The concierge carried the bags directly to our rooms while we were out having lunch and waiting to check in. The bed is incredibly comfortable. My only complaint would be the pillow and the need for more electrical points, especially at the bedside table, so we can charge and check our phones. The current outlets are too low and hidden behind furniture. Location is superb..

The room was very clean and tidy, not too specious but nice and cozy room setting. The location was good too, as the Queen street, many of grocery stores and bottle shops are just nearby. I like the restaurant and its memu on level 1 too! Defieately worth to come back for next time.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. 1. Lighting: The lighting in the room could definitely be improved. Even with all the lights switched on, the room felt dim. Additionally, the lighting control could use modernization; I had to switch off each light individually, which was quite inconvenient without a master switch. 2. Housekeeping Service:The housekeeping service needs enhancement. The dental kit, which includes enough toothpaste for just one day, was not replaced daily by default, and I had to repeatedly request it. Furthermore, slippers were not provided in the room, which is not something I would expect from a 5-star hotel. 3. Communication: I also faced issues when trying to contact the reception and housekeeping to arrange for the missing items. My phone calls from the room often went unanswered, which happened multiple times during my stay.

Great place close to everything. The service was amazing from the second we stopped the car the staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming. The room was so nice and inviting with a fantastic playlist playing when we opened our door. Highly recommend this hotel , if ever we head that way again it will be the place to stay.
