Hotel con colazione a Kuala Lumpur

Fantastico rapporto qualità prezzo. L'albergo è classico e old fashioned ma perfettamente funzionale con personale molto disponibile. Abbiamo adorato la colazione davvero ricca sia dolce che salato e sia il menù locale che internazionale. La nostra family room era ampia e hanno accolto le richieste inserite in fase di prenotazione. Ritornerei volentieri.

A dire il vero, l'esterno non è particolarmente nuovo e a prima vista non sembra particolarmente pulito. Tuttavia, l'atmosfera cambia completamente una volta entrati. Gli interni sono molto puliti e ben organizzati, e gli spazi sono ampi e confortevoli. La posizione è eccellente, con un ottimo accesso alle aree principali, e un minimarket proprio nelle vicinanze, il che lo rende estremamente comodo per una spesa veloce. Ciò che mi ha particolarmente colpito è stata l'ampia gamma di servizi. Non solo tutto il necessario era prontamente disponibile, ma anche i più piccoli dettagli erano attentamente studiati, soddisfacendo davvero le esigenze di ogni ospite. Ho potuto davvero percepire l'attenzione che era stata posta dal punto di vista di un viaggiatore e ho trascorso un soggiorno molto confortevole. Anche il menù della colazione offriva un'ampia varietà di opzioni, con piatti sia giapponesi che occidentali, tutti deliziosi e molto soddisfacenti. Sono stato molto contento di potermi rifocillare la mattina. Una cosa da notare: al momento del check-in è richiesto un deposito, quindi si consiglia di portare contanti con sé. Saperlo in anticipo renderà il processo più fluido. Nel complesso, sono rimasto molto soddisfatto dell'hotel, data la sua ottima posizione, gli splendidi interni, i numerosi servizi e la qualità della colazione. Lo consiglierei in particolare a chi dà priorità al proprio soggiorno e non si lascia ingannare dall'aspetto esteriore.

Cominciamo con gli aspetti positivi: il servizio generale dell'hotel è impeccabile, ogni membro del personale sorride e saluta proattivamente. Il giovane e affascinante ragazzo alla reception parla cinese, quindi la comunicazione è stata senza problemi. La posizione dell'hotel è imbattibile, la terrazza panoramica al 51° piano offre una vista sulle tre torri contemporaneamente, e solo gli ospiti dell'hotel possono accedere con la tessera, quindi non c'è la folla e la confusione tipica degli altri appartamenti popolari tra gli influencer. Il ponte di osservazione 'Starry Sky' dell'hotel è un grande valore aggiunto per l'intera struttura. La colazione dell'hotel è abbondante, principalmente con piatti malesi e indiani. Anche se non c'è cibo cinese, il gusto è abbastanza buono e ogni giorno mangiavamo a sazietà. Ci sono abbastanza posti e raramente si ha difficoltà a trovarne uno. Ora i punti negativi: l'hotel è in realtà un tipo di appartamento, con piano cottura a induzione, lavatrice e asciugatrice in camera, ma non vengono forniti detersivi per il bucato e la reception non ne fornisce. La manutenzione della camera è nella media, con graffi evidenti sul pavimento che la fanno sembrare vecchia. Pulizia: La pulizia giornaliera è sufficiente, ma al nostro arrivo il tappetino del bagno era appoggiato disordinatamente sul lavandino. C'era del liquido giallo nella toilette. Dato che il check-in era avvenuto nelle prime ore del mattino successivo, non abbiamo chiamato il servizio in camera. Non capisco perché si sia verificata una situazione del genere. Come la maggior parte degli hotel a Kuala Lumpur, è facile perdere punti sui dettagli. Nel complesso è abbastanza buono, ma non ci sono molti servizi o ristoranti nelle vicinanze dell'hotel. Il 7-11 più vicino è a cinque o sei minuti a piedi, e questo 7-11 non ha molti prodotti per l'igiene personale. Anche la metropolitana e la metropolitana leggera sono piuttosto lontane, richiedendo circa 20 minuti a piedi. C'è una stazione della metropolitana nelle vicinanze, ma la linea è praticamente inutile. Fortunatamente, prendere un taxi è abbastanza comodo.

Our second stay here, overall stay was still comfortable. The bed, Aircon and shower water pressure is comfortable. Service from hotel staff and room view is good. When we required items in the room, hotel staff will send it up very quickly! The few setbacks of this room is that the room and toilet floor is a little bit dirty, the same piece of dirt and dust was still on the floor throughout our entire stay since we checked in. There are days where housekeeping would top up our toilet rolls, facial tissue, glass bottled water (add in additional bottles for us) without us asking, and we really appreciate this housekeeper! But there was 2 days where it felt like the house keeper barely did anything. Did not refill anything in the room and only took out the trash. The door separating the toilet and the room was also jammed, it can't be closed fully. Also now there's no more ear plugs for us to use when sleeping, and the bedroom slipper material is extremely scratchy on the skin. As we really like this hotel, we hope this hotel can improve a little bit, so that we can stay here every year when we come back to KL.

L'hotel è piuttosto datato ma ristrutturato e offre un'atmosfera accogliente e confortevole. Le dimensioni della camera sono sorprendentemente grandi e funzionali. Letto e cuscini confortevoli. Gustosa colazione, in particolare la stazione dei succhi (freschi con spremuto a freddo). Personale cordiale in ogni unità di questo hotel. La connessione Wi-Fi è stabile! Naturalmente, sia la monorotaia che la stazione della metropolitana LRT sono a pochi passi!

This was our second stay at the property. Our first experience was so good that coming back for this short trip felt like a no-brainer. Unfortunately, this time around, it was a bit hit-or-miss. We were assigned a unit that wasn’t as clean as we had expected. There were strands of hair in both the living room and bedroom, and we also noticed ants in the unit. Then there was the smell — the living area had a stench that made it feel like we lived next to a garbage truck. To this day, we still couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. The refuse room was far from our unit, and there was no foul smell outside, so it remained a mystery. The bathroom was huge, which was great, but I absolutely hated the toilet roll holder. It just wouldn’t hold the roll properly — one quick pull and the whole thing would go flying. Thank goodness it was only a short stay. Despite this unfortunate experience, we’d still return to the property the next time we’re in Kuala Lumpur. The gym is quite good, and the staff at the property are polite and helpful. If we ever get assigned another stinky unit, I’ll definitely speak up right away.

This hotel was a pleasant place to stay for a few days, though it felt much more suited to business travelers than tourists. During my stay, there seemed to be many government officials and international delegates, which gave the hotel a very formal atmosphere. At times, I honestly felt a little out of place, wondering if I was dressed appropriately or accidentally breaking some unspoken etiquette. The hotel has a strong sense of tradition and professionalism, and I was conscious of being respectful throughout my stay. Unfortunately, the front desk service was by far the weakest part of the experience. The staff member who checked me in looked as though she'd seen a ghost when I approached the desk. It genuinely felt like my presence was an inconvenience rather than that of a welcomed guest. It was one of the least welcoming check-in experiences I've had. The breakfast buffet, however, was a pleasant surprise. There was a wide variety of options, including choices for vegetarians and children, making it feel inclusive and well thought out. The cakes were especially delicious and worth trying. The room itself was comfortable but noticeably dated. My biggest complaint was the air conditioner, it was unbelievably loud. I eventually had to switch it off at night just so I could sleep. If you're a light sleeper, this may become a real issue. On the positive side, the bathroom was spacious and featured a lovely rainfall shower that made for a relaxing experience. One feature I really appreciated was the 24-hour room service. It's convenient for late-night arrivals or anyone wanting to stay in, and I liked that they even offered special promotions on selected menu items. The swimming pool was another highlight. While it doesn't offer dramatic skyline views, it's a relaxing space to unwind after a day of exploring. My only complaint was the music, which was played far too loudly. It felt more like it was chosen for the staff's enjoyment than for guests trying to relax. I considered asking for the volume to be lowered but decided against it, partly because I wanted to be respectful of the hotel's culture and atmosphere. One thing I found rather odd was the poolside food pricing. The meals are prepared by the same restaurant located on the ground floor, yet they're noticeably more expensive when ordered at the pool. That price difference felt difficult to justify. I also want to recognize the concierge team at the entrance. They were consistently warm, welcoming, and professional—always greeting guests with a smile, opening the doors, and offering assistance with luggage. They left a far better impression than the reception staff. One final point worth mentioning is the surrounding neighborhood. After dark, the area felt noticeably less comfortable, with a number of people loitering in the streets. I can't say whether this reflects the hotel itself or simply the location, but it's something solo travelers, especially those unfamiliar with the area, may want to keep in mind. Overall, this is a solid hotel with good amenities, a respectable breakfast, and an excellent concierge team. However, the unfriendly front desk staff, noisy air conditioning, inconsistent pricing, and the atmosphere outside the hotel at night prevent it from being a place I would enthusiastically recommend.

La struttura è in una posizione centrale. Ho avuto numerosi problemi alla tessera di accesso alla mia stanza. Hanno cambiato per ben 2 volte la tessera in quanto si è smagnetizzata dicendomi che il sistema NFC del telefono continuava a creare un conflitto. Ho spiegato all’operatore front desk che non ho alcun servizio NFC attivo e che quindi non dovrebbe esserci stato alcun problema, eppure ho continuato ad avere problemi di accesso (alcune volte per più di 10 minuti di tentativi). I vicini di stanza erano molto rumorosi e irrispettosi nei confronti di altri ospiti, parlando ad alta voce in piena notte e generando disturbi. Nella mia penultima notte, degli operatori urbani hanno effettuato della manutenzione ad un albero difronte all’hotel, generando disturbo per svariate ore della notte (fino alle 4 di mattina). Il voto finale per la mia esperienza in questo alloggio direi discreta. La colazione era abbastanza semplice, nulla di particolare.

L'hotel gode di un'ottima posizione; ci sono ristoranti proprio fuori e la stazione della metropolitana è vicinissima. I servizi sono essenziali, ma la pulizia potrebbe essere migliorata. Al momento della prenotazione avevo richiesto specificamente una camera non fumatori, ma c'era comunque odore di fumo. La camera in sé non era molto grande e le lenzuola e il WC erano un po' sporchi. Ho soggiornato solo una notte, quindi non posso esprimere un giudizio sugli altri servizi.
