Molto bella stanza. Visibile appena ristrutturato. Tutto fresco e bello. Posizione è tutto top. Proprio accanto all'hotel le scale sono al boulevard. Letto era comodo e cuscini anche. Beh 2 x 1 persone quindi scarpe lentamente ma sicuramente diviso. Un paio di piccoli punti che migliorerebbero notevolmente il lusso in camera. Un piccolo frigorifero sarebbe un supplemento di benvenuto. Dopo un lungo giorno di spiaggia /boulevard, comunque, potrete bere qualcosa di fresco. (D'altro canto, 2 porte accanto all'hotel si trova un negozio che vende bevande refrigerate a un prezzo ragionevole e anche la sera è ancora aperta). Ma in camera sarebbe sicuramente un supplemento frigorifero. Abbiamo chiuso ivm sole subito all'arrivo corde, ma la stanza aveva solo balconi e non puoi mettere nulla su. La stanza era già calda di sangue e non voglio sapere come è in mezzo all'estate. Il ventilatore era presente ma la stanza aveva pochi contatti di arresto e si trovava troppo vicino al letto di fine giornata, per cui era stato necessario spensarlo rapidamente per evitare un viaggio sulla testa. La camera da bagno era stata anche appena ristrutturata e era anche completamente fresca e spaziale. La gomma sotto la parete di vetro deve essere pulita solo bene e in qualche modo durante la doccia l'acqua si è comunque spostata sul pavimento in un angolo. Un paio di punti di attenzione che renderebbero perfetto, ma abbiamo avuto un bel soggiorno e ci siamo divertiti.

The hotel is a comfortable 10 min walk from the station. Blankenberge is a typically clean Belgian town and this is reflected in the hotel. The sea front is 150 meters away. There is a husband and wife management team who made us welcome, the whole atmosphere for me was very relaxed. We were clearly a group of men on a boozy weekend but while our hosts clearly understood this they never betrayed any concerns. As most hotels in the area this is a brasserie, so restaurant food and a bar are also available. I did have an evening meal at the Hotel (a fish dish in the Ostend style - 3 pieces of different fish in a cheese sauce with a few hints of mushroom) which I felt was good (it is a bit difficult to judge based on one meal). We had beers and coffees and I had a Calvados. There was a good selection of beers, wines and spirits. We had a whip (we had all put 40 euros into a central pot) so how pricy the drinks were was a bit difficult to judge but we were all very happy. The only negatives I would suggest was the staircase which is steep with some narrow steps in places. There is a lift which has a strict weight limit , no more than 4 occupants. All round I was very happy with the Moby Dick and would not hesitate to go back. If I do return I would like to have a longer stay investigating some various restaurants including at the hotel.
