Hotel in zona Zwischennutzung Fabrikgarten, Berna

La Pergola è in un tranquillo quartiere residenziale e vicino a diversi tram e autobus. Ci è un supermercato Co-op vicino, e alcuni ristoranti. Inizialmente ero molto scaricato da quanto piccolo e basilare la stanza è. C'è solo un fan (e è stato un caldo estate), nessuna caldaia (è uno al primo piano), nessun ferro (ditto), nessuna sicurezza, nessun frigo, e le luci di lettura inadeguate al letto. Il letto è decente, le cieche di metallo sono altamente efficaci, la pressione dell'acqua di doccia è stata eccellente (ma portate il vostro shampoo e condizionatore), e il personale è amichevole.La finestra apre un grande plus; così tante finestre dell'hotel non lo fanno. Il mio prezzo non includeva il colazione. In generale, ha fatto il lavoro, e a un buon prezzo per Bern, ma non posso dire che tornare nella mia stanza non mi ha mai sollevato gli spiriti.

PROS - Modern clean rooms with comfortable beds and reading lights. - Fast and easy route to the centre via the bus (free to guests!) - Black out blinds - Two bed apartment was very spacious - Laundry facilities (washer and dryer, 2 francs each) were really helpful, and clearly signposted - Parking including reasonably fast electric car charging - Concierge was available, helpful and very friendly. CONS - The air con was very slow even when turned up to the highest setting, and rooms were hot. Windows don’t open. - The breakfast was abysmal value. No fruit selection (just the usual bulk-bought fruit salad; it doesn’t cost much to put some apples and seasonal fruit in a bowl to choose from!). The scrambled eggs were rated inedible by the whole family. No baguette or whole loaves to slice, just large individual rolls and some white sliced processed bread.

Struttura moderna; camera Design ampia e luminosa; bagno ben pulito, sufficientemente attrezzato, biancheria morbida; materasso e cuscini molto comodi; Internet WiFi gratuito; qualità del sonno eccellente anche se il rumore del traffico mattutino può risultare un po' fastidioso, nonostante la camera al piano terra sia abbastanza insonorizzata. Parking coperto sotto la struttura a CHF. 15 al giorno: scelta obbligata perchè -anche se un po' fuori dal centro storico - è impossibile trovare altre opportunità di parcheggio. Ogni ospite riceve il Bern Ticket gratuito che consente tra l'altro di utilizzare il praticissimo Bus della Linea 10 che puntualmente si ferma davanti all'Hotel ogni 15 minuti e porta in centro in soli 4 minuti e viceversa; in direzione opposta, in un minuto si raggiunge il Rosengarten, uno dei parchi più belli della città, punto panoramico perfetto per scattare fotografie. Professionale e cortese il personale alla reception.

The hotel itself was clean and smart decorated. Comfortable and big bed, and a small kitchenette that facilitated the reparation of easy meals. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a smooth check, whereas check out was a breeze. An aldi supermarket was right in the corner. Bern Bahnhof and city centre was easily reachable. All in all, it was a pleasure staying there.

Super Unterkunft. Von A-Z hat alles geklappt. Eine tolle Unterkunft mit Kindern. Am Abend war es ab 22.00 uhr sehr ruhig im Hof und auch mit offenen Fenstern lässt es sich so gut schlafen. Das Frühstück war zum Geniessen in einem schönen Saal. Allgemein ist diese Jugendherberge wunderschön eingerichtet. Das Museum ist top und mit Kindern sehr gut machbar. Es gibt ein Rätselspass, basteln, Truhen öffnen, Schatzkisten und vieles mehr. Es lohnt sich dieses Museum zu besuchen. Diese Unterkunft ist nur zum Empfehlen

My wife and I stayed at the Moxy in Bern. This is the second Moxy that we have stayed in (the first without Covid restrictions) and it didn’t disappoint. The room was a good size as Moxy hotels go with a two seater sitting area, fold out luggage stool, a large flat rack with hangers (a brilliant way to hang clothes without taking up floor space). The bed was supportive and comfortable. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room but there is a kettle (and a microwave) in the lobby for guests to use. Staff were happy to regularly fill the kettle so I could have hot water in my flask for the room. All staff were friendly, helpful and spoke good English. Breakfast was super and all food was to a very pleasing standard. They had a selection of two juices, at least 8 different cereals and 3 different milks, a couple of yoghurt options, fresh fruit, as well as a selection of breads, rolls and loaf with a toaster. There was also a selection of cold meats and cheeses. Breakfast included a choice of three hot options including scrambled eggs, bacon bits or sausages and also waffles. There was also a coffee machine providing latte, espresso etc. One of the things I really appreciated was that they put small quantities of food out so that it was regularly replenished and therefore fresh and not picked through. The hotel provided a small menu of bar snacks including Nachos and cheese, a couple of different rice/pasta dishes, a couple of different pizza options as well as flatbreads and a few other options. Food is not Michelin Star quality but was good and very welcome if you didn’t want to leave the hotel in the evening. Whilst the location of the hotel is out of the city centre (it is a 30 minute leisurely stroll to the Barengraben), we made use of the Bern Card which gives free travel in the city centre. Trains run every 10-15 mins and take 3-5 mins to reach the central station. There are other trams and buses but these take slightly longer. The Bern Wankdorf train station is extremely handy (about 50 metres from the hotel) but we hardly ever heard the trains in the hotel when the windows were closed. Between the station and the hotel is a handy Co-op store which, for all the size of it, was very well stocked with essentials including fresh bakery, fresh sandwiches and a small hot food counter. The hotel is also located less than a 10 minute walk from the Stadium Wankdorf complex which also includes a shopping centre, McDonalds, as well as a couple of other cafes. All in all, a great stay and we would be delighted to return to this hotel if we are ever in Bern again.

The location of the hotel is located about 3-4 tram stops from the Bern station. There weren’t many amenities located in the vicinity of the hotel and they are mainly found 1-2 tram stops away. The good thing is that the city provides hotel guests with free tram transportation so you should ask the front desk about it. The room size was decent but not very big. The air conditioning did not seem to work very well and we had to open the window in winter to cool down the room. However, the minibar was complimentary and they provided apple juice, still water, sparkling water and beer (2 bottles each). The experience was generally consistent with that of a 4 star hotel and the price.

Per quanto poco possa valere il mio giudizio vorrei sconsigliarvi vivamente questo pessimo hotel. Prima di tutto le foto che trovi sul sito ti traggono in inganno, la struttura in realtà è quella posteriore in cemento armato, orrenda. Le camere sono un miscuglio di baita e stile moderno, pavimenti rivestiti di finto legno rumorosissimo che continua sugli armadi. I letti sono peggiori di quelli economici dell'Ikea con materassi che hanno sicuramente visto tempi migliori. Le molle durante la notte cigolano sinistramente ad ogni tuo movimento. Gli asciugamanti non ti vengono cambiati durante il tuo soggiorno e te li tieni umidicci, il bagno è striminzito e poco funzinale. Le pantofole, se non hai le tue, devi chiedele alla reception, ridicolo. Parliamo ora dell colazione, quattro brioche messe in croce con due marmellatine confezionate e 4 dico 4 vasetti di marmellate aperte di gusti imprecisati. Non parlo delle fette di bresaola poste sul vassoio da chissà quante ore che non darei neanche al mio cane. Il top è il ristorante interno, abbiamo disgraziamente deciso di mangiarci. Abbiamo chiesto due calici di pro secco che ci hanno portato senza indicarci cosa fosse, i bicchieri dell'acqua che credo risalgano alle guerre puniche erano macchiate di rossetto. Abbiamo mangiato uno spiedino di pollo accompagnato da un riso con asparagi,se non fosse stato scritto sul menu' che era risotto l'avrei scambiata per una purea per quanto fosse scotto. Questo è indicato come un 4 stelle, ora vorrei sapere con quale criterio vengono assegnate le suddette, o le comprano o chi le assegna è ubriaco o venduto. Vergognoso, siamo scappati, pur pagandola, con una notte di anticipo. A proposito l'inonorizzazione delle camere è pessima.

Posizione centrale, circa 300 metri dalla stazione, raggiungibile a piedi o con tram 9 che ha fermata circa a 100 metri. Albergo moderno, ben arredato, ottima pulizia; stanze essenziali ma accoglienti (cassaforte ma non frigobar), bollitore acqua, phon. È presente un bar lounge (di cui non abbiamo usufruito). Colazione inclusa a self service soddisfacente. Acqua per gli ospiti gratuita (non indifferente visto i prezzi dell’acqua minerale a Berna!) e codice gratuito per utilizzo dei mezzi pubblici durante il soggiorno. Servizio Wifi efficiente. Se dovessi tornare a Berna prenoterei di nuovo qui.

We totally enjoyed our 2 night stay. Loved the ”industrial” decor, spotlessly clean everywhere, really comfortable bed and pillows, great shower. Really easy to get there from the railway station using the free tram/buses. Breakfast was the best I have ever had at an Ibis, lots of choices. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I had stupidly lost my phone case ( that had CC cards in it!) and 2 honest young men had found it and a card from the hotel in it, called the hotel to say they had it, staff immediately contacted me to let me know, really appreciated the efficiency and concern in reuniting me with my lost case! Highly recommend staying here for comfort, breakfast, value and staff
