Hotel in zona Museumswohnung, Berlino

I'm really surprised by the low reviews as this wasn't our experience at all. Yes it's a budget hotel, so I wouldn't expect a 5* star experience BUT our room was modern, clean, spacious and comfortable (the pillows could be a little plumper). The bed was two twins pushed together but this is common in Germany and the nordic regions, so not unexpected plus we both love having our own duvet and, after travelling, we now have this at home too. It was great to have a free bottle of water in the room and we also bought soft drinks from reception when we arrived. We were on the top floor (14th) and we had no issues with the lift. Staff were friendly on arrival and we even managed to access our room one hour early with no additional fees. We didn't eat in the hotel as we were there to enjoy Berlin, we got up early to have breakfast in central Berlin and had dinner before returning to the hotel. Public transport in Berlin is amazing and there are numerous tram stops near the hotel. We used the M6 most often (5 min walk from the stop to hotel) to Alexanderplatz and beyond but also used another nearby stop to use other transport connections to move around the city. It did take quite some time to get to and from the airport as you do need to make connections but everything was easy to do and we never experienced any late running services. Would we stay here again, maybe...we would not hesitate to stay in the hotel again but only if we didn't have early morning flights (which we did)! This meant that when we arrived, we had to carry our heavy bags around the city centre to make the most of our 3 nights (the hotel was too far away to go there to drop bags and then come back). We were so tired, that we chanced heading to the hotel early to see if early check-in was possible and they were very helpful. On our last day we had to get up at 4am as we were on an early flight home and it took more than 90 mins to go from hotel to airport, we would loved to have stayed somewhere near a station with direct airport links to get that extra 60 mins in bed. So if you don't have early morning flights, then definitely go for it and get a Welcome to Berlin card as that covers all of your travel including from the airport to hotel. Berlin is a brilliant city and we loved it!

Hotel carino con rapporto di qualità elevato. La posizione è un po 'abbigliante che non è così vicino ai principali segni del centro, ma il traffico pubblico intorno è conveniente (bus142 e U-Bahn5/8). Il personale è amichevole con buoni servizi, ho trascorso due giorni con il mio amico qui confortevolmente.

Lo staff eccellente! Io dovevo alloggiare dal 08/07 al 20/07 purtroppo la struttura ha avuto ritardo nell‘ apertura, ma hanno provveduto a torvare per me una sistemazione alternativa fino al 14/07 alla pari della struttura stessa e sono stati super disponibili nei miei confronti. Dal 14/07 ho alloggiato qui ed è stato un soggiorno rilassante e molto piacevole, stanze dotate di ogni comfort, molta privacy e comodissimo poter comunicare con la reception tramite wupp. Fino a settembre la struttura non sarà completa ma lo staff ha organizzato buffet e aperitivi gratuiti per tutti, oltre ad aver offerto la prima notte di soggiorno a tutti gli ospiti. Complimenti ancora alla staff, sono sicura che tornerò a trovarvi!

L'Estrel Berlin è un hotel impressionante. Le camere sono spaziose e confortevoli. Il servizio è professionale e precondizionato. Il buffet per colazione offre una vasta selezione di cibi deliziosi. La posizione dell'hotel è conveniente, vicino ai mezzi di trasporto pubblico e alle attrazioni. In generale, un hotel consigliabile per un piacevole soggiorno a Berlino.

Sebastian in the reception is such a good man and he really helped me thinking my lost phone in a taxa. Besides that he is playing a good playlist in the reception, is a good listener and you can just feel he is good man. Thank you for being who you are to me. Besides that the room are clean, there is a park close by to run and train. The location is in a quit area and you can get around from there easily. Big time value for money .

La camera non è grande, ma pulita e rinfrescante. Se hai bagagli grandi, è abbastanza lontano dall'uscita della metropolitana di Alexanderplatz. Puoi prendere direttamente il tram M4 (di fronte al centro commerciale Saturn) per una fermata e scendere a Mollstrasse. L'hotel è diagonalmente dall'altra parte della strada. Ci sono più aspetti che camminare. La colazione è nella media, in tipico stile tedesco, e sembra ancora fresca dopo averla mangiata una o due volte. Quando esco per divertirmi, vado principalmente ad Alexanderplatz e prendo la metropolitana o la SBahn Sembra che siano solo 3-4 fermate di metropolitana dalla stazione ferroviaria principale, il che è molto comodo.

Questo è un ottimo hotel vicino ad Alexanderplatz, che è una delle mie zone preferite della città. L'Hauptbanhof è nelle vicinanze, la Fernsehen Tower, un sacco di negozi e cibo! L'hotel include una colazione con qualcosa per tutti. E ci sono anche opzioni di cibi caldi disponibili la sera in cui non hai voglia di uscire. Tutti erano molto cordiali!

La camera è pulita e ordinata e la pulizia è a posto, ma le strutture e l'arredamento sono un po' rudi. La colazione è ricca ma leggermente cara. L'unico edificio alto nelle vicinanze offre una vista panoramica. L'intera torre della televisione di Berlino non è ostruita.

This is a modern functional hotel (which we booked via BA holidays) apparently popular for conferences, so you get the picture. Four of us went for a city break. The hotel is well situated within easy walking distance of Gendarmenmarkt. Spittelmart U-bahn is 2 minutes away. Easy and welcoming check-in. Our rooms were comfortable and spacious. The bathroom had an excellent walk-in shower although the wash basin had the depth of a birdbath. What was surprising was the amount of wasted space in the bedroom with a great void between the bed and the door which could have been used for some proper drawers and shelves. As it was, there was only 1 drawer and 3 shelves, one of which was useful only if you were 2 metres tall (see photo). The wardrobe, if you could call it that, was an open hanging space, but it was situated at right angles to a padded seat (see photo) making accessibility difficult and there was only one chair in the room. Tea-making facilities were available but instant coffee only and powdered milk. We used to take a small jug of milk from breakfast and keep it in the fridge. There was a very good and comprehensive breakfast with just about everything one could want. As a morning tea drinker I cannot comment on the coffee which came from a machine, but there was an excellent selection of leaf teas. The hot food was OK, but nothing cooked to order so that eggs were either warm scrambled or hard boiled. Staff were very helpful and dishes promptly refilled. We didn’t use the restaurant for dinner as the menu looked pretty basic but there are restaurants within walking distance. All in all, nothing special but I would still recommend it for a short stay.

Stayed here for a weekend exploring Berlin. The location was good just a short walk to the train station which take you into the centre of Berlin or you can catch a tram from Miles outside the hotel to the train station if you don’t want to walk. The rooms were clean and spacious but a little tired however we thought this was reflected in the price we paid. We booked 2 rooms and ended up next to each other which was great, whenever I book 2 rooms in the UK we end up on different floors. We did have a 5am fire alarm wake up call where we were evacuated from the building for some time with no communication. There is a Lidl nearby to pick up supplies if needed. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Berlin.
