The room is spacious and clean. I love the onsen there. Amenities is available on first floor. They even provide a bag for guests to carry their stuff to the onsen, not a lot of hotel have that. The location is great, walkable to the shopping mall and Lawson is just opposite. The parking is free as well. That’s a huge plus if you are doing road trip.

Conveniently located near the city centre with lots of food options. There is a Lawson just opposite the hotel. Parking is also free.

We enjoyed the onsen so much will definitely come back again

The rooms have got poor lighting . Unable to adjust the heat / air con for ur own comfort . Not even providing complimentary plain water in the room . Found some major unclean dirt / whatever it was on the shower head - as shown in pic I was so glad I went to a great onsen place prior checking in , hence I didn’t need to use the shower . For the price of JPY 23000 per room night It’s way below expectation.

The hotel is good as big room for family of 5 is available. But the carpet is not well maintained so there is smell. The onsen is old and should have done better in this regard. The breakfast has good variety.

The service staff is very friendly. Parking is very convenient for people who drive. The six-person room is large and comfortable. I will definitely visit again.

We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children aged 6 and 9). Kamenoi hotel, while looks a little dated, is good value for money, have comfortable beds and provide free public onsen separated by gender. It’s also within walking distance from Youne Town where there is shopping and plenty of food choices.

Location, cleanliness and service was all great, but it's a really really dated and tired hotel. The onsen especially was extremely dated and I think there are much better choices around Beppu!

Overall, nice hotel with big room. The carpark is convenient. The location is not too bad.

Hotel room is reasonably sized baring in mindmist hotel in Japan is small. There are paid laundry. Parking here is free👍

It was very crowded when I was staying there. Air conditioning was very weak.
