Hotel sul mare a Da Nang

La struttura è molto alta, le camere sono molto di alta qualità, le tariffe sono molto elevate, con standard vietnamite e più vicini agli hotel e ristoranti di lusso a Londra o New York. In generale, ho sentito che l'esperienza giustificava il costo, anche se il livello dei prezzi era superiore a quello previsto.

To be honest, some highs and lows here. The service here is more like a 3-star hotel, definitely not a 4-star. I remembered the first two days I was presented with this nice buffet with good food choices , then for another 3 or 4 days, the buffet stopped running and they switched to this really underwhelming a la carte menu that looked more befitting into a 2-star backpacker or student hostel. Then I found out the buffet was only set up because of a number of Chinese guests staying there. When they left, the buffet went (obviously me and the other 15 guests who were staying there, didn't deserve it??) The last two days they set it up again, and surprise, a large number of Russian guests had just checked in. So it turns that only if you are Chinese or Russian you get the attentions here? I know what I paid wasn't cheap, smacks of discrimination. Then on those days the service turned sloppy, I came early for breakfast, I think this is the first place I have been, where they penalise you if you come to eat early. 30 mins after opening and some trays were cold, I had to use the toaster to heat it up. The housekeeping was a bit strange here. They didn't replace the bed sheets, they simply tucked them in (I know this anecdotically, for a fact) One of the coffee cups replaced was soiled and stained, and in one occasion, they had removed one of the bar items without telling me (paving the way to maybe ask me to pay for it later without me taking it, this is not a good practice) The coffee bar was very hit and miss. Some of the pastry pieces on display were some of the most ghastly I've ever seen, they looked raw, I had to ask them if they had been baked, they said yes (they were unglazed) On the second day, they served me this wishy washy mish mash of crushed ice with some mango on top, didn't taste of anything, they wanted 40000 d for that, how is that even on the menu? After that, I didn't set foot in there again. The hotel was not even at 20% capacity, and they had the brilliant idea of putting people directly next to me and above upstairs..really? The pikey backpackers would be thumping on the floor a lot of the time, very poor isolation. Upon leaving, I had this Be taxi driver (white car, 125.xx plate) He parked across the road, I was carrying my suitcases, I told him to turn around. He got in his taxi, drove off, and left me STRANDED, this was a booking to the airport, what kind of subhuman does that??? My experience with the Vietnamese is not great, but the staff here were kind and helpful, and assisted me greatly. Location not really great, a bit far from everything, but the place was very clean. So there are some positives, but this is in no way a 4 star for me, especially when subject to profiling and priviledges are removed, depending on where you come from, and what colour your skin is.

Great potential ( when the hotel is refurbished), excellent location . Food is mediocre with little choice for vegetarians and not much choice for the others ( especially when you consider it being quite remote) The above was mentioned to the management so hopefully some action will be taken soon

Had a lovely stay. Nice place and will definitely consider staying here again if I return to Hoi An. Highly recommended. Lovely pool/beach area. Easy 15 minute grab to old town and they had shuttles at certain times. The bar also had reasonable drinks and there was a happy hour (buy 1 get 1) everyday from 5-7 PM. Breakfast buffet was also great!

When I first entered the room, I was a little disappointed. Although we had booked a Premier Suite Ocean View and were allocated the exact room category selected, our room was on level two and unfortunately there was no real ocean view as it was completely blocked by the trees in front of us. I called the front desk and was told that the hotel was fully booked and nothing could be done. The next day, when I met the room manager, I shared my disappointment as I had booked the room more than three months in advance and expected the room to match the photos provided by the hotel. Unfortunately, that was not the case. As shown in the first two photos taken by me, there was hardly any ocean view at all, compared to the third and fourth photos provided by the hotel before our stay at the Marriott. I also stayed three nights at Da nang courtyard and included the last picture as comparison view there as well. Setting that aside, we were impressed by the hotel facilities, especially the 4 full-sized adult swimming pool. The beach was clean and beautiful, and we spent every day at the gym, which was fully equipped with everything we needed. After our workouts, we enjoyed the decent breakfast before relaxing by the pool or at the beach for the rest of the afternoon. It turned out to be a very relaxing holiday as we intentionally planned very few activities for the final part of our trip. I was also very pleased with the incredible service recovery by the hotel manager Onah Ton. Instead of offering wine, which we do not drink, or unnecessary amenities, she thoughtfully arranged a ride to the airport for us. I believe small gestures like this truly make guests feel valued and encourage them to return again in the future.

La stanza era spaziosa e pulita ogni giorno, rendendo la stanza confortevole e piacevole. Il personale era anche molto gentile, gentile e sempre utile quando necessario. Uno dei punti di vista dell'hotel è stato certamente le strutture di nuoto, con un grande accesso a due piscine libere, entrambe ben mantenute e divertenti da usare. L'hotel dispone anche di un club spiaggia con un paio di ristoranti piacevoli. L'atmosfera era piacevole, soprattutto per rilassarsi sulla spiaggia, mentre aveva buon cibo e bevande. Era un grande complemento all'esperienza di soggiorno generale. L'unico punto di svolta è stato il colazione. Anche se era accettabile, il menu è diventato molto ripetente e stanco dopo pochi giorni. È certamente possibile avere più varietà e miglioramenti nella selezione del colazione. Oltre a ciò, era ancora un soggiorno confortevole e piacevole.

We were looking to get away to play tennis since we are both learning, and to a beachfront resort. Hyatt Regency Da Nang has a wonderful tennis court and beautiful beach, exactly what we need. We have breakfast included and lounge access, so breakfast before tennis and a light dinner to close the day became our routine. Service is a bit slow but friendly, though the English level can be challenging at times. Also, the room's layout means the AC is blowing straight into my head while I'm sleeping, which is bad. I was struggling with the AC and fan while adjusting the room temperature. We will go back, but I would like to know if there is an alternative room with a different layout, as sleep is crucial for me.

Sono arrivato in hotel a mezzanotte. La colazione era abbastanza abbondante, ma non riuscivo a digerire il cibo locale. Il cibo bianco era accettabile. Veniva servito dalle 6:30 alle 9:30. Non sono andato in piscina perché faceva troppo freddo. Non ho visto la palestra. La prima notte, l'aria condizionata perdeva, ma per fortuna non faceva caldo, quindi l'ho spento e sono andato a dormire. Il giorno dopo, mi hanno spostato in una camera familiare. Mi sono svegliato il giorno dopo con le zanzare, e ce n'erano di nuovo di notte. Non potevo fare altro che dormire con la testa coperta. È molto vicino alla spiaggia di My Khe, a 7-8 minuti a piedi, a 5 minuti dal KFC e a soli 10 minuti di moto dall'aeroporto. Per il prezzo, va bene, ma le zanzare sono davvero fastidiose. Portatevi il vostro repellente per zanzare. Non accettano Alipay, WeChat Pay o UnionPay.

Il personale è molto cordiale, grazie per la vostra calorosa accoglienza! L'hotel è ben posizionato con accesso diretto alla spiaggia, molto apprezzabile e comodo. Questa zona è meno affollata del centro città, quindi è perfetta se cercate una zona più tranquilla, ma comunque raggiungibile in 15/20 minuti.

It is a solid place. The room was nice. Two beds. Nice view from the window. The sheets were clean and smelled nice. Wi-Fi was fast. Drawer is enough for clothes even though there are not enough hangers. There are small insects on the furniture (table) but you can ask for repellent or spray that kills them for a long time. There is a kettle and daily water, tea and coffee. There is also a fridge. Service was great. Any issue and question was resolved speedily. Fun fact. There is special massage on the second floor with the 1.4 million starting price. Btw if your shower hot water does not work, check fuse and turn it on (upwards).
