Hotel sul mare a Lombok

My husband and I recently spent our birthdays and anniversary here and it was literal perfection! The location is 10/10, close enough to everything (including biking to sunset point) but also felt secluded. Gorgeous pool with swim up bar overlooking the picturesque grounds. The food was also the best we had on the island. Amazing massages in room. Staff were SO kind and attentive. The snorkelling trip we did on the Princess Margaux was so great (credit to Kholid for taking some great content on our GoPro!) They also organised a transfer directly from the resort beach to the golf course on Lombok for 9 holes after brekky on the beach for my husband’s birthday. Also one morning we saw turtles in the water as we were waiting for breakfast on the beach and the staff quickly got us a towel, wet shoes and snorkel mask so I could jump right in whilst waiting for food! So lush! As a seasoned traveller I can easily say this was one of the best experiences we’ve had. Thank you so much!

Pros: 1. All villas are not beach front. They are ocean view only and on a cliff. 2. The beach is not good, rocky and not well cleaned. 3. The view stretches as far as the eye can see is green spaces that bring a sense of inner peace. 4. Staff is very very friendly and always smiling and promptly respond to any requests. 5. Delicious breakfast on the best view. 6. Swings allover the resort are very nice. 7. Excellent privacy for the private pools. Cons: 1. The resort is not respecting the Islamic nature of Lombok Island, as you can see Hindu statues are found everywhere even inside our villa! Additionally, they apologize to guests for sound of the call to prayer, as if it were a disturbance — even though the noise from their AC and insects around the villa disrupted my sleep. 2. We were in a 2 bedroom villa, AC was working fine in one room only and was noisy. 3. Areas besides toilets and shower cabinet containing some strange insects. 4. The mosquito net wasn’t clean — you could actually see dead mosquitoes on it.

A cozy paradise with turtles by the shore and kind hearts💕🏝️ Our vacation in Gili exceeded all expectations, and this amazing hotel is a great credit for this. We found exactly what we were looking for: a quiet, cozy corner where every detail is created for relaxation. The premier room was made with comfort. The bed is incredibly comfortable and soft. The cleanliness was perfect, which was monitored daily, and the snow-white linen added a sense of homely comfort. A special delight is the bathroom with an open roof — taking a shower under the stars was magical.🛁 The hotel is surrounded by greenery and bright colors, 🌸 behind which you can see the tremulous care of the staff. And right across the street, literally 30 seconds away, begins the best beach with giant sea turtles! Seeing them every day by the shore is priceless.🐢 Furry residents: Cute red cats live on the territory, which create a special atmosphere of home warmth. Be sure to feed them when you stop here! And just behind the hotel there is a local shelter for cats. If you have the opportunity, take some food there or make a small donation. It's a small thing for you, but it's a huge help for them.🐈 Special thanks to manager Sam! This man has a big heart. 💖He was incredibly attentive, helped us solve any issues, and told stories about the island and local life with such love that we got into this place even more. Sam, we sincerely wish you a speedy recovery and good health! It is thanks to such sympathetic and kind people like you that such places become truly special.🫶 This hotel and the entire island of Gili gave us not just a vacation, but a feeling of harmony and warmth. Чистота идеальная за которой следили ежедневно, а белоснежное бельё добавляло ощущение домашнего уюта. Особый восторг это ванная с открытой крышей — принимать душ под звёздами было волшебно. Отель утопает в зелени и ярких цветах, за которыми виден трепетный уход персонала. А прямо напротив, буквально в 30 секундах ходьбы, начинается лучший пляж с гигантскими морскими черепахами! Видеть их каждый день у самого берега — бесценно. Пушистые жители: На территории живут милые рыжие котики, которые создают особую атмосферу домашнего тепла. Обязательно покормите их когда остановитесь здесь! А сразу за отелем находится местный приют для кошек. Если у вас будет возможность, отнесите туда немного корма или сделайте небольшой donation. Для вас это мелочь, а для них — огромная помощь. Отдельная благодарность — менеджеру Сэму! Этот человек с большим сердцем. Он был невероятно внимателен, помогал решать любые вопросы и с такой любовью рассказывал истории об острове и жизни местных, что мы проникались этим местом ещё больше. Сэм, мы всей душой желаем вам скорейшего восстановления и крепкого здоровья! Именно благодаря таким отзывчивым и добрым людям, как вы, такие места становятся по-настоящему особенными. Novotel Hotel in Kuta Lombok is honestly an amazing place to stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, very clean, peaceful, and perfect if you’re looking for somewhere quiet to unwind. What really stood out for me was the staff — incredibly warm, helpful, and genuinely friendly. They make you feel very welcome from the moment you arrive. That said, the location is quite remote. It’s not within walking distance of Kuta centre, so you’ll need to arrange a car. The hotel can organise transport for about 50,000 rupiah one way (roughly a five-minute drive). There’s no Grab or regular taxi service around because the local community supports their own drivers, which is actually a positive thing and understandable. If your plan is to relax, enjoy the hotel, and take things slow, it’s a fantastic choice. But if you like exploring, dining out frequently, or moving around a lot, keep in mind that you’ll need transport everywhere — and depending on where you want to go in Lombok, some trips can easily take a few hours.

Super comoda camera, delizioso cibo, molto ospitale squadra, grande vista e posizione, anche, sulla spiaggia! Vista solare era 100/10 Ma la connessione Wi-Fi e Internet? Per amor di Dio, è stato un disastro! Non potevo fare parte del mio lavoro dalla mia stanza. Bello hotel per viaggiare solo o con la famiglia, finché il tuo titolo è ”Vacanze”. Viaggi d'affari? Non è una scelta saggio veramente.

In terms of the service this hotel offers, the friendliness of the staff, the breakfast, the things that there are to do at the hotel (2 pools, full gym, 24h massage room, 24h room service), all of those elements are beyond excellent. Our only issue with this hotel was the room. We didn’t feel like the room was completely unclean and the sheets smelled fresh, but there were obvious stains that they did not manage to get out. The overall state of the room looked fine, but the lighting of the room wasn’t very good to begin with, so it’s difficult to fully gauge cleanliness. Something else that bugged me was the closet door, that has an automatic light that turns off/on when the closet is closed/open that would not fully close, which kept the light on. I had to fold out our paper room key pouch and stuff it in between the rolling doors to keep the closet shut so the light would stay off. Lastly, the hotel only provided shower towels in the room, no face or hand towels, which is strange as it is usually standard to provide at least a 2nd set of towels that are to be used at the sink. Overall, I still very much do recommend this hotel for travellers who would like a relaxing stay with a great pool and lots of good restaurants in the area, and extremely close to Senggigi Port, however, little issues such as the ones listed could also be an issue for some.

I had a really nice stay at Jambuluwuk Oceano Gili Trawangan. The hotel is located in a quieter part of the island, which was perfect for relaxing while still being easy to reach the center by bike. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the resort was beautiful. The pools and beachfront area were definitely highlights of the stay. The staff was very friendly and always helpful throughout my trip. Breakfast was correct with enough variety to start the day well, even if it could be improved a little. I also loved the location for watching the sunset and snorkeling nearby. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel for a relaxing trip in Gili Trawangan.

Mixed Experience at Royal Regantris Villa Karang. I've stayed at this hotel twice, opting for the modern rooms. While the location is excellent – across from the beach and near the harbor – my experience was marred by some issues. Cleanliness was average, with signs that the room could benefit from a deep clean. I found mould in the fridge, dirt around the shelves, and a noticeable stain on the floor that was missed during mopping. Unfortunately, my stay was further tainted by a dishonest staff member who intentionally overcharged me for an iced latte. When I questioned the price, she acknowledged it was expensive without correcting the issue. To make matters worse, she gave me the wrong change. The next day, another staff member quoted a significantly lower price for the same drink. While most staff members were polite and helpful, the presence of at least one dishonest employee is concerning. The food was hit-or-miss, but the hotel's location and some friendly staff aren't enough to outweigh the negative experiences. I'll think twice before staying here again, and I hope the hotel addresses these issues to provide a better experience for future guests.

Absolutely the best place to stay in Gili T! The pool is fantastic, the food is incredibly tasty, and the staff are truly amazing always attentive and guaranteed to put a smile on your face. I'll definitely be coming back!

Mixed feelings The room I initially booked (paid extra for AC and hot water) was just dirty and I could not control the AC bc remote wasn’t working so it was always on I could clearly see that no one had cleaned it (see first three pictures) and tbh bathroom felt unsafe with electric cables next to shower I asked to change and they tried to give to charge me extra for another room - I told them either I have what I paid for (AC and clean bedsheets) either it’s ok they pay me back and I leave The staff said I’d need to talk to the manager and when I said ok bring me the manager they never got them and offered me third room without paying extra (feels dishonest that they didn’t show me this one first) Bedsheets were okayish (so many weird stains, see pictures) but this one had no hot water - and they clearly said that I got downgraded. They wanted me to pay extra for the upgrade but do you think they paid me back the difference for the downgrade? Of course not (feels dishonest to charge extra for things you paid for initially but no pay back when you provide less than was paid for) I don’t know how much a hotel like this needs a pool (which was really nice by the way) when they’re so close to the beach. Maybe they should put the pool budget into clean rooms and hot water lol
