Bath Abbey Hotel, a Marriott Tribute Portfolio Property I booked this hotel in Bath through trip.com. I took advantage of two promotions on the platform: a £5.99 railcard purchase and £5 off train tickets, both requiring booking a European hotel within 26 days through trip.com. Considering that the official website’s prices were quite similar, I went with the trip.com booking. I reserved a cozy room for 1 adult without breakfast for £113. Money-saving tip: I used TopCashback to access trip.com, earning $7.67 cashback for this booking. After I checked out, trip.com triggered an immediate discount of £10.46, which I applied to my next train ticket purchase. ❤️ Third-party Marriott members get perks, too! This hotel falls under the Marriott Tribute Portfolio, embracing a boutique hotel approach. The entire establishment dates back to 1739, boasting a historic exterior. It’s conveniently situated just about 3 minutes’ walk from the Roman Baths and across from Sally Lunn’s. With my Marriott Platinum Card, even with a third-party reservation, the hotel upgraded us to a larger ground floor room facing the street after matching our account, but it’s not advisable due to potential noise. They also offered complimentary à la carte breakfast. Breakfast slots had to be reserved during check-in, and we chose a table at 10 AM. The breakfast was abundant, and the restaurant had a charming and lovely atmosphere. The experience was excellent (the best things are free!). Unfortunately, I don’t have space for more photos, but I’ll post one of the restaurant later. The room was quite small, designed in a modern British style, with a movie-themed decor according to the posters on the wall. All the amenities were provided, with local brand toiletries available for purchase at the front desk for £25 for two bottles. They were decent, but nothing extraordinary to consider bringing back home. The minibar had coffee, various teas, semi-skimmed milk packets, and biscuits. The bottled still water was in an aesthetically pleasing canned form. 🌟 There’s an Elemis sleep kit on the bedside: temple balm/sleep mist/eye cream, placed over a hotel postcard, looking quite exquisite. The bed was very comfortable. ❌ However, there were a few drawbacks to this place… a bit unnerving… I’m not sure if I just had bad luck. The hotel corridors were somewhat confusing, and I accidentally opened the wrong room door once using my own room card. Strangely, the next day around ten o’clock, while I was in the bathroom and my son was on the bed, despite securing the latch on our door, someone managed to open it slightly, presumably seeing my son on the bed, and then closed the door. Perhaps it was a housekeeping staff member wanting to clean the room? Regardless, it felt quite odd… a little unsettling, to be honest

Lovely hotel that made our journey and evening so much better. Originally booked another hotel but it was so dirty and staff was so rude, had to leave and find an alternative late at night. Thank you for accommodating our last minute booking! The bed is super comfy, cosy room and friendly staff. Would come back again if we are visiting Bath again :)

Fantastic Hotel - grande posizione - perfetto per la stazione ferroviaria e camminare intorno al Bath. La nostra camera era pulita, temperata e confortevole. Una colazione molto buona, deliziosa. Tutti i membri del personale erano amici e benvenuti. Grazie per un bel soggiorno. Sicuramente saremo tornati!

Abbiamo prenotato direttamente, in gennaio, con l'hotel che prende in considerazione l'offerta per il nostro soggiorno di marzo. Questo è un hotel 5 stelle e abbiamo aggiornato la nostra camera pochi giorni prima dell'arrivo. La camera era bella con un comodo letto di 4 poster e tutte le strutture come previsto. Il colazione non era come ci aspettava per un hotel a 5 stelle. Dovremmo scegliere un tempo per mangiare, le persone precedenti avevano tutto il yogurt? A quel tempo (8.45) siamo arrivati, stiamo spazzando il fondo del vaso profondo e il nostro colazione cucinata era una piccola parte. La torta di patate era molto sottile, come un cartone, un solo rasoio sottile di bacon e un taglio di funghi. Grazie a Dio ho chiesto un pomodoro grigliato! Dovremmo chiedere un toast quella mattina. Il pomodoro era quasi abbastanza per uno, dovevamo chiedere di più! Abbiamo prenotato per il mio compleanno per cena al Vellore, ma abbiamo deciso di cancellare, perché sembrava costoso e il colazione ci aveva messo fuori! Quindi abbiamo scelto di mangiare dal menu del bar invece, prendendo il pasto nella sala. Purtroppo la stanza era piuttosto fredda, abbiamo sentito gli altri ospiti lamentare di questo. Gli ospiti possono chiedere latte fresco per andare con il tè e il caffè complimentare, ma siate consapevoli di un piccolo succo di latte è £6. Il personale è stato amichevole e estremamente utile e l'hotel è ben situato per la città.

La zona è più lontana, ma c'è un centro di partenza per pochi minuti. La stanza è grande e ha caratteristiche diverse. Una sala pesante ha un divano. La ricevitrice, dopo la notte, chiama Uber.

Baden House è semplicemente fenomenale dalla miscela di vecchia e moderna estetica che grida classe, eleganza e lusso al pulito, tranquillo ambiente e il personale così gentile che erano sempre disponibili per aiutare e rendere il vostro soggiorno così comodo è stato un'esperienza così notevole e mi ritorcerò certamente. Mi piaceva assolutamente il mio soggiorno a Baden House e mi consiglierei sempre. Era la migliore vacanza e esperienza di Pasqua.

Il viaggio è stato sorprendente, soprattutto perché abbiamo scelto di rimanere a Leonardo Hotel, Bristol City. L'ambiente era sorprendente, mantenetelo in piedi!

Siamo arrivati tardi la sera, il personale che ci ha portato era così amichevole e siamo stati portati in camera nostra in fretta. La nostra stanza era enorme, le mie figlie erano più piccole, ma ancora abbastanza grandi per due adulti. Erano senza posti, il letto era così confortevole e il sonno era grande. Il bagno era eccellente con una grande zona di doccia e i bagni erano forniti. Abbiamo avuto colazione in mattinata, che era sorprendente. Nel ristorante ci sono stati giocattoli, libri, giochi e una zona confortevole dove si poteva sedersi e rilassarsi. Ancora una volta il personale non poteva essere più utile o bello. Non esitavo a raccomandare The Hollies Inn.

La stanza era confortevole e ben preparata. Un arrivo tardivo richiedeva un snack, che era stato preparato rapidamente e senza problemi. La colazione ha offerto molte scelte e la sala da pranzo è spaziosa. Il parcheggio era adeguato, anche se non si prevedeva il canone di parcheggio. Il problema principale era la localizzazione dell'hotel, anche con un satnav, e quasi impossibile trovare il modo di entrare attraverso un'entrata stretta e nascosta che non era stata segnata.
