Malacca: hotel con bar

Abbiamo prenotato un totale di 5 camere durante la nostra visita a Melaka. La posizione è molto comoda. Il materasso e il cuscino della camera sono molto comodi. L'unica cosa che non ci fa sentire a nostro agio è il forte odore di scarico quando apriamo la porta della camera, ma scompare una volta acceso l'aria condizionata. Questo vale per tutte le nostre camere deluxe. La suite 320 ha una perdita dal tetto quando piove molto. Il flusso d'acqua del bagno della camera deluxe 302 è molto lento. Abbiamo scoperto che è molto sporco quando abbiamo aperto il coperchio del sifone del pavimento. Spero che possiate risolvere questi problemi. Nel complesso, ci siamo goduti il ​​soggiorno lì e alloggeremo di nuovo al Baba House per il nostro prossimo viaggio a Melaka.

This is our third visit to this hotel, as usual we go to Dr. LIM ENT doctor (ENT) @Mahkota Medical Center, the first time it came it was called Renaissance Melaka (5 stars) the second time it changed to Ramada Melaka (5 stars) and this is the third time we stayed here for 6 days 5 nights now it is Dusit Princess Melaka ( 4 stars), not too many changes even though the lobby was renovated, all the rooms are still the same as before, big TV but not yet Smart TV, swimming pool on the 9th floor which looks like there have been changes, for room cleanliness, housekeeping is called ”Shanto”usually very friendly and works very well, all guest requests are served very well, good job Shanto👍👍👍👍👍, the weakness of this hotel is the service at breakfast for the breakfast menu, nothing special, it seems mediocre, 5 days breakfast is just that, I remember at the hotel This waitress and manager's service is extraordinary towards guests. I remember ”Teh Tarik Melaka” was their mainstay to attract guests, service with a smile, which we don't get at this hotel now, for The service of the waitress and staff at the restaurant is very unfriendly and seems indifferent and needs to be improved. Service is very poor and needs to be improved in attitude which is sometimes a bit impolite in serving guests. I noted that only 1 Malay brother always provided friendly service at Tomyam soup and 1 woman wore a headscarf. the one in front wrote down the list of guests who smiled at us, for the receptionist ”Amen” fast service only waited 30 minutes even though we weren't given a free room upgrade for our special Honeymoon but were given early check in hours 12.00 and slice cake is not bad😊🙏

Il servizio di manutenzione è di grande aiuto. Al momento del check-in in camera, la cassaforte era chiusa a chiave, la TV era spenta dalla fonte di alimentazione principale. L'hotel è pulito e adatto per le famiglie. Il letto era grande. Il servizio in camera era veloce. La TV aveva canali sufficienti e la qualità e la dimensione dello schermo è buona. È stata fornita molta acqua in camera. La vista della suite junior era buona, ma sarebbe stata meglio in un piano superiore.Il bagno era enorme e gli ospiti potevano chiedere sedie all'interno per gli anziani. Ha una sauna e una stanza a vapore nell'hotel, ma nessun spa. Sembra a pochi passi da Jonker ma la lunga e imprevedibile situazione di grappolo e camera in melaka, la posizione dell'hotel diventa una inconveniente. Il raffreddamento non è possibile controllare e era troppo freddo a notte.Il colazione ha bisogno di una coda, e il cibo non è fantastico e non ha piatti di firma che si ricorda dopo. L'hotel non risponde molto a richieste come ad esempio un piano alto o che ci sia un terzo ospite nella stanza nonostante il pagamento di una persona extra, e questo è evidente quando le strutture della camera, il bagno e i pantaloncini forniti erano ancora in coppia. Anche se l'hotel ha fatto il salto più dopo il primo giorno, quando si alzano, non sono sgualdrine.

Hotel No buono ....ascensore, un incubo....Non arrivi mai sia in salita che in discesa.......un fiume di gente che entra ed esce....è un po' problematico.. volevo salire sullo Sky bar.....ma abbiamo rinunciato...troppo tempo...insomma non è facile ma è fastidioso.... comunque centrale con una bella passeggiata sul lungo fiume arrivi direttamente al centro e all'imbarco.

This is a very new hotel which started their business in March 2023. Wanted to try on the first day of opening but due to some reason, it was delayed till now. It’s a first Marriott hotel in Melaka, so I do have very high expectations from them. As a Marriott platinum elite member, I’ve stayed in many hotel under Marriott organisation. Upon reaching the hotel with grab car, the staff came up to me immediately and lead me to the check in counter, the lobby are huge, and I can still smell that the hotel are still so new. Not much of the guest in the lobby area, it’s a Monday so I guess it’s normal. No suite room upgrade and no complimentary breakfast for a platinum member, although I was upgraded to a strait view room which I appreciated it. It can see a tiny bit of the sea. Apart from that, I guess the room size and amenity are the same. The check in staff told me that the suite room was full… I mean.. it’s a Monday.. and I literally still can see the suite room was available in the Bonvoy app. As I’ve mentioned, I’ve been to many hotel under Marriott organisation. I don’t always get upgraded to a suite room, but it was okay, I do understand all these are subjected to individual hotel policy and it’s all a good will. But I guess the staff could just tell me that the hotel are still new, the suite room are limited and it’s reserved for paying guest. I would totally understand that. But I don’t think it’s wise to you know, use a default replied as member like us, we check on the app. For me, if there’s no available suite room, I wouldn’t even ask for an upgrade. Secondly, there’s no complimentary breakfast, I paid RM70 for the 2 day breakfast. I’ve stayed in a few courtyard hotel, this was the first one that I’ve paid for breakfast, there might be other courtyard that don’t provide complimentary breakfast for guest with elite status, maybe I didn’t stay much enough to see it all. I’ve stayed with hotel that told me that their facility actually don’t offer complimentary breakfast for elite member, but they will just give it to me as a good will on top of my welcome gift. Just a little suggestion, like maybe let the counter staff to decide, if they could slip in some complimentary breakfast to guest with elite status or even guest that potentially come back again. I’m not complaining here, just some of my suggestions. The room are new, nice and spacious, very clean. Nice TV channel selection, view was great. Bed are firm to the level that I like, they offer pillow menu as well. Had very good sleep for the 2 night. Breakfast was very basic. There’s a very annoying flies flying around my table.. how did it come into the hotel, lol. Gym are small but there should be everything you need. The infinity pool are great! Very good view and very Instagrammable. Please visit the pool when you are here. The staff and friendly and nice. Would come back again to the hotel when I’m back in Melaka.

The hotel is located at Melaka city Center in front of Dataran Pahlawan near Mahkota Parade shopping complex. The room & amenities are just ok. The parking lot is provided free by the hotel. Staff at the hotel is friendly and helpful. Easy to get the food and beverage by walking distance.

### Review of Hotel Majestic Malacca I recently stayed at Hotel Majestic Malacca and had a mixed experience. The room was very clean, and I enjoyed a nice bathtub experience, which was a highlight. However, the soundproofing in the room was lacking; I could hear conversations from the next room until midnight, so it might be helpful to request a quiet, non-smoking room when booking. Additionally, there was a noticeable smoking smell coming from next door, and the pillow had an unpleasant odor. I found the mattress to be too soft for my preference, which affected my comfort. The room featured a coffee machine, and I appreciated that I could request additional capsules. I also liked the eco-friendly touch of using glass bottles for drinking water. However, be aware that items like cup noodles and drinks in the fridge are chargeable. Breakfast offered an à la carte menu that was just average—acceptable but nothing special. I didn't have time to explore the gym or swimming pool, as my days were filled with walking around Malacca city. The toilet amenities, however, did not meet my expectations considering the room price. I think they could benefit from using a better-smelling shower gel and shampoo. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and provided good service throughout my stay. There is parking available behind the building, but as a woman returning late, I appreciated being able to park in front of the hotel for safety. Overall, while there were several drawbacks, the cleanliness and service made for a decent stay.

Make my check in and out smooth👍🏻 ✅ Basic aminities available .. ❓Maybe need some refurbish❓replace new one❓ - air cond (noisy and unadjustable) - Toilet: Water pressure not strong enough - Mattress: not comfy as “baby skin” - Housekeeping: need to hire more man power and improving the quality of work for better 👍🏻
