Excelent experience at The Angkal Resort. Excelent staff, amenities, pool and restaurant view, and good food as well. We’ve enjoyed our days there!!

Had to change our booking from two nights to one due to this year's Nyepi Laut (= silent sea day), which would have kept us stranded on Nusa Penida on check-out day. For a single-night stay, I wouldn't recommend this hotel simply because of its remote location. (I.e., it is approximately 45 to 60 minutes from the harbor(s) and streets on Penida are not exactly a joy to ride; especially at night!) If you're staying for a couple of nights or longer, this charming facility is definitely worth checking out, though.

Super quiet, clean rooms and super friendly staff. Maybe rooms can have a bit of maintenance, some doors locks are broken and bathroom had some defects. Location is quite remote but still 30 mins drive to main area of activities. You can rent scooters here, book boats back to the island and find car transportation to the ports or around the island. Bonus: You can great view from the infinity pool to the ocean or amazing sunrise.

The angkal in Indonesian means thinking. The hotel is really a great place to keep peaceful. Facing the vast Pacific Ocean, besides enjoying the beautiful view, you’ll also think about the great universe and the true meaning of life

Awesome place to stay in nusa penida. Good staff and very clean room and villas

So clean and beatiful place .Cleaning everyday, Hotel provide free floating breakfast .Me and family enjoying been in here,walk in 1 minute to beach restaurant. Will repeat on future ❤️

Solo trip to Penida. Didn’t know that this hotel is located far off the harbour and everything but the hotel/villa itself is WONDERFUL. Clean rooms, bathroom. Outside your room you can chill, smoke and witness the sunrise. Great pool overlooking the sea. Staff were great and always there when you need help. The restaurant was undergoing maintenance work but we can have our breakfast either by the pool or in your room. Book this property if you want a EXCELLENT view. Surrounding very peaceful. Nearest eatery is Warung Ogy which serves nice grilled fish. It’s like 5-10mins walk or 3-5mins by bike. No shops nearby. So stock up when you’re in town or saw a minimart.

Truly enjoyed our stay at The Angkal. The staffs are friendly and very helpful. The villa is sweet and cozy overlooking the beautiful sea and a pool. The food was delicious especially the local food and we love relaxing at the cafe. The location is at the east side of the island which was quieter from the busy West. If you would like to explore both west and east side of the island, this resort is perfect as it is located in between. One cons though there is no gate surrounding the villa and the stray dogs could come at night. Just be sure not to leave any food outside at night. All and all great value for money and would definitely come back again.

Good location

這是一家超級差的酒店，總結一下有4點:1、這家酒店距離港口特別遠，路上浪費了很多時間，需要自己找司機接送到酒店，費用不便宜。2、這家酒店距離景點特別遠，周邊也沒有玩的的地方，去其它地方還得自己找司機，費用不便宜。我住的那一層就我住的房間有人，其它房間都是空的沒人住，感覺被坑了。3、這家酒店圖片上説是海景房，其實距離海灘很遠，衹能遠遠的看到海平面，感覺被欺騙了。酒店蟲子特別多，房間設定也很差，特別是衞生間很破舊，光線特別差。4、我來之前在平台預訂了3晚，來了之後衹住了1晚後，因為體驗感太差，就想立馬離開。我在平台提交了申請要退掉後面2晚。通過協商酒店人員不同意退掉後面2晚，我退完鑰匙直接就走了，剩下2晚我也不想在這裏住了，不想再和他們多説一句話。平台工作人員和酒店負責人溝通，酒店人員也不予理睬。總之，這是一家非常非常差的酒店，誰來誰後悔，希望大家不要再來被坑了！！！

島上淡水匱乏，洗澡水是鹹的，洗也洗不乾淨，而且沒法洗衣服，洗澡每天衹能依靠酒店提供的四瓶礦泉水

進去的就看到幾個大蟲在裡頭飛來飛去，地理位置很遠因為島上用不了打車軟件所以去哪都不是很方便，酒店環境實在堪憂。總共租兩晚入住兩小時就不想呆了還不讓退第二晚的，不推薦
