Great location, the service was superb. Before I arrived, the hotel called me, and they provided detailed instructions and helpful tips for visiting attractions in Tianmu Lake. The amenities are also quite good, I enjoyed the hot spring in the hotel.

Era sempre disponibile, aiutando con la traduzione, raccomandando ristoranti, e anche aiutando con questioni minori quotidiane. Grazie a lei, la nostra vacanza era completamente senza stress e incredibilmente comoda. L'hotel stesso era anche meraviglioso, con camere accoglienti e una grande posizione, ma è stato l'attenzione e il professionalismo dell'assistente che hanno davvero reso il nostro soggiorno speciale. Non troppo cibo occidentale al colazione, soprattutto cibo locale.

We had a lovely 2-night stay at this hotel as a family of 5. The family room which we stayed in would be perfect for families with young kids as there were lots of playful details in the room, plus a toilet training seat and little step stool provided in the bathroom. Our kids are teens so this wasn’t needed but it was very cute nonetheless. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel breakfast was much more Chinese than western catering but we liked that. The location was excellent. Walking distance from the main attractions and better shopping malls in Changzhou, with lots of small local restaurants, shops and even a pharmacy right on the same street. Would highly recommend and will definitely book here again the next time we visit Changzhou!

💯The lady who checked us in on Day 1 was very good, but the staff did not wear any name tag so I can’t remember her name. We found that she is the only one who was prompt and alert to guests needs. She helped upgrade us to a room that is more handicap friendly, as my husband was on crutches. She also helped us order takeaway using her private mobile phone when the restaurant on site was closed for lunch as we had no china mobile phone number to order take away. 💯The location is great by the lake and near the Tianmu Lake scenic park. 💯Outdoor hot spring staff on duty are attentive and polite. She even instructed the buggy driver to the nearest point to pick us when she noticed that my husband had difficulty walking. However the buggy driver did not pick us from the recommended point as she gave the excuse that her buggy driving skills are not good enough. Therefore we had to walk a longer way to be picked up, which puzzled everyone as there was more than enough space and a road for buggy entry…. ❌ Not enough staff, especially at dinner and breakfast. Food is slow to come at dinner even though we pre-ordered. Waited 30 mins and more. Staff are loud clearing the crockery, and had no sense of regard for those still dinning. ❌tour groups arrive in the evening by the bus load. The hotel did not feel premium with the crowd who were very loud. ❌the private hot spring in the room only had a fixed temperature of more than 40 degrees which made it very uncomfortable when the external temperature is more than 30 degrees. The solution was to mix it with cold water via tap, which was very slow and impractical. The hot water needs to be filled up by the staff, and you have to call them. ❌not suitable for those with difficulty walking or elderly. ideal to have your own car. 🤔Overall, I did not feel that I made a good choice with this booking. There are others private hot spring room near Yu Shui hot spring / Bamboo sea area for a better value and premium feel. 🫥I would also caution against the 100 yuan fish coupon - it is a discount coupon to offset about a third of the price of the dish, not a complimentary coupon for a fish head casserole. I did not receive the welcome gift so I can’t comment. The public hot springs has 4 pools.

Le camere sono state eccezionalmente pulite, ben mantenute e molto comode. Il personale e i contadini personali - Li Chemey erano caldi, professionali e sempre disposti ad aiutare. Le richieste supplementari che avevamo presentato sono state trattate con urgenza e con pensiero, rendendo l'intera permanenza insufficiente e piacevole. Il parco stesso è un bellissimo destino, ispirato alla cultura cinese tradizionale e al mondo delle arti marziali antiche e della fantasia. Il paesaggio è stupendo, con un ambiente verde e tranquillo che fa sentire ogni angolo pittoresco. Abbiamo anche piacevolmente sorpreso dalla qualità del cibo in tutto il parco. È un luogo meraviglioso per le famiglie con bambini, così come per chiunque voglia sperimentare una miscela unica di natura, cultura e relax.Abbiamo avuto un tempo fantastico e vorremmo consigliarlo a chiunque pianifichi un viaggio familiare.

Food: Breakfast was varied, with western，asian and local. We had Dinner at the main buiding using ******* set menu and it was a good deal, as the 2 person deal is enough to feed 4 and tasted quite delicious. Location: it is a resort so you are going to spend most of the time on the resort ground. We booked 3 day 2 night and the time was enough to explore everything. Nice scenery. Amenities: only a few activities were covered in our package so it will depend on your package. The package was confusing and we didnt know exactly all the activities that were free or cost extra. The reception on check in should have explained all of this upon check in, but maybe they are not trained, or maybe because our accomadation at pinecone is considered 4 star so they used lower quality staff. All the free stuff are a bit lame and service was poor except for the craft lady who actually showed us a wechat app for the hotel where free activity voucher can be found. They outsourced the activity area so that is really poor decision as it hurts the brand image due to service levels. For hotel staff, thumbs up to the shuttle ladies, who you call to get from one place to another. They are prompt and speedy. Service: check in staff was professional but not warm. As mentioned, the activity area is outsourced so most staff are cold and seemed rude, except for the craft lady who was actually decent. But considering this resort and the type of guest, i would consider this really bad. Cleaniness: the room is very clean, a bit worn (see pics of wall), but it feels quite clean.

The bed is very comfortable, with smart dual lighting and curtain control, plus a huge projector screen. Type-C and Type-A sockets are everywhere, air-conditioning is individually controllable, and the full-height windows make the room feel bright and spacious. The fridge is properly cold, and both normal towels and disposable towels are provided.
