Hotel a Rotorua, Nuova Zelanda

We rented a 2 bedroom cabin, which I would describe as ”Rustic”. It's high-end camping. The living room had a huge glass door that slid across and out of the way, so the whole inside was exposed to the outside; quite lovely. The kitchen was large, but not stocked for anyone who wanted to use the oven (had to ask for oven-proof ware). The first night nothing worked so we called and they replaced the microwave and showed us where the circuit breaker was for the stove top (in a cupboard beside the stove). This had to activated before and after using the stove-top! Beds were comfortable; unit was clean; only 2 hangers in the closet. If you're used to camping, this is luxury. P.S. Internet not free and was very iffy.

Lovely place. Good breakfast. Great massages. Rooms comfortable, light and airy. Great bed!. Hot tubs and pools were nice and the location is ideal....on the Lake and near the town - 10min drive...also 10mins from small airport and from the Mud baths. Only negative - the restaurant and bar were closed for 2 days!! this WAS not mentioned before we booked..so had to go out an find breakfast 2 days - not a real issue but better to be fore warned than to be surprised ! Service and staff was good. Friendly engaging and helpful. Manager was very good

Overall, good stay. Good location. Comfy bed. Good pillows. Room clean and tidy. Just one small.gripe; I was told at checkin that breakfast was until 9.30am, so I headed down a little after 9am only to be told they stop taking orders for breakfast at 9am. That would've been good to know as I would've come down before 9am. But, overall pretty good stay and fairly good value for money. I'd stay again.

Sono rimasto all'Hotel Sudima Lake Rotorua per tre notti mentre ero presente a una conferenza. Il Sudima è stato scelto come il più economico dei quattro elenchi degli organizzatori della conferenza. L'alloggio e il buffet sono stati standard e non giustificano per se stessi una valutazione, positiva o negativa. Ciò che giustificava una valutazione è tuttavia l'esperienza di check-in. Ecco perché il livello-two. Dopo aver soggiornato in una gamma di alloggi – da alto a backpacker - non ricordo nulla di simile, sia qui in Nuova Zelanda che all'estero. C'era una persona al reception desk e solo un altro ospite che mi ha fatto entrare. Il check-in ha preso un tempo apparentemente interminabile, ma può accadere per qualsiasi motivo. Il mio check-in sembrava normale, ma poi l’esperienza è andata a cusard. Sono andato in camera al terzo piano con la mia borsa. Quando arrivai lì, la carta magnetica non apriva la porta. Poi tornai al ricevimento, spiegai la situazione e fu fornita con un nuovo set di carte. Poi, tornando al terzo piano, si', le carte della porta aprirono la porta con successo, ma quando entrai nella stanza, mi sorprendeva di trovare prove che qualcuno usava la stanza. Il materiale intorno alla stanza ha dimostrato che questa persona era anche un partecipante alla conferenza. (Interessantemente c’era una mezza bottiglia di whisky bevuta su una tavola, ma purtroppo era una miscela e non un malto singolo, quindi non c’era tentazione di prendere qualche swig.) Usando il telefono della stanza, ho chiamato il numero di ricezione, ma non c’era risposta. Ansioso che l’indigente della stanza possa tornare, ho ritornato ancora una volta al reception desk per essere forniti con una nuova stanza e corrispondenti carte di porta. Un altro ascenso al terzo piano si è finalmente verificato con una valida occupazione di stanza all'Hotel Sudima Lake Rotorua. Il tempo scade dal primo ingresso all'hotel si estende a circa 40 minuti.

The place was nice, but not as exceptional as we expected by others reviews. Things are a little worn in the room we were in. In the morning my wife went to use the spa/hot tub and after filling it with water she turned it on and it spewed out extremely dirty water. Manager said it was because the hotel was old. I disagree. - it simply needed a better cleaning. Use bleach and fill, run and refill the hot tub until it comes out clean. It’s not rocket science. They don’t offer any kind of refund but they did offer us a couple of candy bars and an apology.

Bella posizione hotel buona facile da raggiungere anche la città terrestre principale, ma anche vicino a tutte le principali attività e spiagge Camera pulita e spaziosa comoda letto buono vista sull'oceano Piscina e bar al tetto con vista sull'oceano e sulle spiagge Il personale amichevole ma un po' più di conoscenza avrebbe aiutato! Chiesto se potessimo affittare qualche ciclo ma disse che non avevano chiesto se sapevano dove potessimo affittarli e non lo sapevano, ma non appena siamo andati sulla strada principale abbiamo trovato alcuni cicli di autoaffitto... anche chiesto dove si può fumare e dove si trovava. diretto a passare attraverso un altro hotel e fuori dove il negozio 7/11 24/7 era e c’è zona di fumo in cortile, ma quando siamo tornati al nostro hotel abbiamo trovato una zona di fumo sul tetto non si è sicuri perché non ci hanno detto questo... Entrata all'hotel un po' difficile da trovare quando si accede via parcheggio sotterraneo o via l'altro hotel Resterò qui ancora.

I stayed here for two nights in May 2023. The hotel is located on the main street in Rotorua, about a 10-minute walk from the main shopping centre. Just up the road, about a 5-minute walk away, there are a couple of supermarkets. The airport is a 10-minute drive away. The hotel has plenty of parking. The room was very big with a small kitchenette, large bathroom, table and chairs etc. However, the room was showing its age and could do with an upgrade. Unfortunately the room was cold. I had the heating on but, given the size of the room, it took a long time to heat up. It was uncomfortable. There was no extra blanket for the bed. The wifi worked well. The service at the front desk was good. For what I paid, this hotel was good value. However, for my next trip to Rotorua, I would be prepared to pay a bit more for something warmer and more up to date.

Our stay was fabulous. We had a spa room which was also fantastic even though it was chilly outside. It was well worth it. The rooms were clean, the bed comfortable and it had everything we needed. My husband's only complaint was there were no sky channels available and we needed our own netflix etc. accounts. We did have to fight for parking even though there was parking straight outside the rooms and some people coming with more than one vehicle per room. (Hubby has lung issues so needed close parking), otherwise we thoroughly loved it - thank you.

Avevo due notti per andare alla bella collezione di giardini per visitare durante il 3 giorni del Festival dei Giardini Rotorua. È stato a partecipare al fine settimana solo così non voleva pagare troppo per $50 per notte per la mia stanza era conveniente e buono valore. Avrebbe valso la pena spendere un paio di dollari per avere una stanza con un suite che sono sul pavimento, quindi non avrei dovuto andare e scendere per la stanza al primo piano e essere a metà strada dal corridoio dai bagni. Ho appena visto nella notizia ieri che yha in nz sta piegando/chiudendo tutti i suoi ostelli ....a travestiti a nz turismo e viaggiatori nazionali e internazionali!

Quando abbiamo prenotato il motel più economico che potevamo trovare per un breve soggiorno di due notti, non siamo stati preparati per una tale interessante esperienza. Le camere erano scrupolosamente pulite. I marchi superiori per questo. I tovaglioli cambiarono ogni giorno. Ma oh che posto strano. Ci sono due parti del motel: ci sono state messe in una casa molto costosa di 1950 trasformata in camere di motel. In una grande scala, nella stanza, che è stata decorata in ciò che si può descrivere solo come l'idea di un artista deco venuto negli anni 1950. Eravamo così divertenti da capire quali parti della casa erano state cambiate per ospitare il nostro spazio. La camera da bagno è molto adeguata e piuttosto carina. La stalla da bagno è ospitata in quello che sarebbe stato il doccia originale delle case, con tutti i tubi originali coperti da foto. Accesso al bagno dalla camera da letto - passo in un mattino - controllare sotto il mattino E comincia a ridere, perché il tubo per il bagno originale è ancora lì, ma ehi, era pulito, le camere sono grandi e, dopo tutto, è solo per dormire.
