La stanza non è stata controllata correttamente. Il primo che si è tolto le orecchie si è rivelato smantellato e utilizzato. In secondo luogo, l'acqua non era calda 24 ore su 24. In terzo luogo, non c'erano spazzolini da denti e pantofole usa e getta nella stanza, che non è stata utilizzata fino al momento del check-out. Il prezzo è ragionevole, l'hotel ti accoglie calorosamente, ma ci sono molti trucchi se non ordini l'acqua per cena, ti si secca sicuramente la bocca e sono tutti a pagamento in dollari USA Ci sono molti trucchi interconnessi. Forse le tue aspettative all'inizio sono troppo alte.

Che albergo fantastico. La camera è spaziosa, i sanitari e il bagno sono tutti Hansgrohe e Bravit. Abbiamo cenato e fatto colazione qui, ed erano entrambi molto buoni. Anche le condizioni igieniche della piscina sono molto buone. In breve, è altamente raccomandato se vuoi visitare la West Ancient City, la East Ancient City e Lion Rock, puoi considerarla come base.

Struttura fantastica, personale gentilissimo e disponibile e cibo eccezionale, consilgliatissimo. Sembra di essere in un Safari. Noi purtroppo non abbiamo usufruito di tutti i servizi in quanto stavamo facendo un tour e uscivamo mattina e facevamo ritorno per cena.

Stunning architecture and superb understated service creates a serene environment to relax after sightseeing. Our room was large and beautifully designed with a super comfy bed. The pool was gorgeous , a lovely place to unwind after a day sightseeing. The food was very good and the service was super in the restaurant. All staff were incredibly polite, helpful and friendly. We were very sad to leave.

We stayed 3 nights in the superior rooms here in August. The hotel organised airport pickup and driver for our stay in Sigiriya. There was a small issue with the vehicle air conditioning but the manager on site Dileesha sorted it quickly for us. We were a bit surprised by the outdoor bathroom at first, but once we got used to it it was actually fine. The room was spacious and comfortable and with the sofa and day bed, it was nice enough for 4 people to lounge in. The smart TV in room was also appreciated. Food was the only slight weak point - they don't serve any cocktails and the food could be a bit too salty and repetitive for a multiple night stay. The service here is informal but friendly - you really do feel part of the family here and they take great care of you. Overall we had a great stay here and would recommend it.

This place was my first magical experience in Sri Lanka. You are close to all the main sites you might visit, but also isolated and in perfect harmony with the nature. This architectural project is a particularly special one where you might find some Bawa references regarding interaction with the natural surroundings. I could simply stay here forever. Staff very helpful and kind as it is in all the Taru villas Group and made everything they could to make my experience a memorable one.

Gorgeous property with incredible staff in a very natural setting. We stayed here twice in what we consider the best hotel experience in Sri Lanka to date. The beautiful hotel is impeccably maintained which makes it a perfect home to explore the many sights nearby. The food is excellent, served in a unique setting.

This hotel is a gem ! Rooms are very spacious, clean and beautiful. We didn’t expect it to be that good ! The swimming pool is very large and is located near a field with some coconut trees, it was beautiful and very nice to spend some time here. Cherry on the top of the cake : the restaurant (& the staff !) The food was delicious and the staff was so kind… We highly recommend the Sri Lankan dishes, but the occidental food is also great and sometimes as good as in French restaurants ! Overall this is a 100/10 experience, everything is made to preserve a very warm and calm atmosphere (there is only 10 rooms). They arranged us the famous Minneriya safari near the hotel, it was our best safari experience ! Also we did the private cooking course with the restaurant chef, it was very nice and we had a wonderful moment with the team. 🫶🏼

Beautiful location, a lovely small restaurant, and although the pool was small, it was perfect. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The hotel room was also very nice! The employees really care about their guests. Unfortunately, we were stuck in bed for a day, but even then, the staff was there for us and took great care of us.

What a fantastic time we had at Taru Villas Maia ! It is a fanatic base to explore the surrounding areas including Jeep Safaris, Sigiriya and Dambula. We did all of them with an excellent driver (Charith) arranged by the hotel. The hotel itself was fantastic. A great combination of privacy, style and comfort. With only 10 rooms, the staff far outnumbered the guests and this resulted in fantastic service in every single area. The staff were genuinely pleased to see us (no fake sincerity here!) and the service was first c lass in every respect. From the excelllent food, to the daily laundry, the maintenance of the fantastic pool to the room refreshes and hep with organising outings - everything was perfect. Thank you !
