Hotel in zona Batyr, Almaty

The hotel ist exceptional and good. The rooms are spacious and of high quality, the beds super and great. Fresh fruits, coffee and some small sweets are in the rooms. The staff is very helpful and friendly. For me it is the best solution with a fair relationship of price and service in Almaty. I had a service issue and the issue has been solved for my full satisfaction by the manager within a few hours. Extremely customer oriented hotel and management. Anytime to be recommended

The Hotel is a 30 minute, pleasant ride by Coach. It overlooks a canal. Reception was efficient and personnel, very courteous and helpful. The double room was clean with snow clad mountain views. We request cleaners to do a thorough job cleaning the floor of the toilet as there were lots of hair from previous occupants on the floor mat. We further suggest that a rubber mat be provided in the shower as we found it, very slippery without one. Very good Breakfast. The metro can be accessed by following the canal to the right side. It takes about a good half an hour to reach it on foot. We used the Metro to visit the city. There are shops, including a small supermarket nearby where Maria and I bought a bottle of 'Kazakhstan Cognac”. Very good and easy to drink. It cost us AUD 14! The brewery is also nearby, a sight for sore eyes for weary and thirsty Aussie travelers!

Central hotel in Almaty, everywhere else was quite expensive so I chose Renion Park hotel. It was similar to the photos but sadly the room was way too hot for me, thankfully I could open the window! Other guests kept me awake from running up and down the corridor all night and one even tried to get in my room I think, not realising it wasn’t theirs! The room itself is adequate and has most things you need but lacks finesse and is a bit rough around the edges. For example the sink had no plus, some of the skirting boards were falling off and light fixtures had gaps where you could see behind. However the location was good and you can walk to most things, the view of the mountains was beautiful. Be aware that most international credit cards don’t work very well in Kazakhstan so book via an international platform so they can charge you properly!

Vive qui nel luglio 2023 con la famiglia e gli amici. L'hotel è a metà di Almaty e abbiamo camminato ovunque, tra cui a molti ristoranti e bar. La proprietà sembra nuova, e può essere collegata all'altra vecchia Kazzhol (dove ho soggiornato anche io). Le camere sono grandi, luminose e luminose. Il letto era estremamente confortevole e mi piaceva la disponibilità di molti sockets di potenza. La camera è aperta. Il mini frigo è stato immagazzinato e il WiFi è forte. L'unica influenza che ho sulla stanza è che il bagno è posto in un luogo strano, proprio accanto al bagno. Altri punti di punta per tutto. La colazione era migliore di quella della maggior parte dei luoghi che abbiamo soggiornato in tutto il Kazakistan e il Kirghizistan durante il nostro viaggio, con una varietà di selezioni. Lavanderia era veloce, efficiente e decente. Ci è anche un ATM nel lobby per l'accesso al denaro. In generale mi piaceva l'hotel e era il migliore in tutta la gita.

Struttura piuttosto semplice ed abbastanza pulita,situata non lontano dal centro di Almaty. La mia camera era,abbastanza spaziosa e pulita,dotata di balcone,bagno con doccia,set di cortesia,in particolare ho trovato il letto molto comodo. Nel complesso si tratta di una buona struttura,non ancora avvezza secondo me,ad accogliere turisti da tutto il Mondo . Colazione e barriere linguistiche (solo un receptionist su quattro con cui abbia avuto a che fare,parlava inglese) da migliorare. Per il resto,lo consiglierei.

What a disappointing hotel. The service was awful throughout. Whatever the question the answer was always NO! Check in time was 2:00pm. I arrived at noon and asked for an early check in. NO! The room was ready but unless I paid $50 they would not allow early check in. (A different clerk did eventually check me in early) The restaurant closed at 7:00pm for dinner and there was no nearby option. I got take out and just asked for silverware and an empty glass. NO, you may not take to room. Eventually I procured a single fork (still no glass allowed in room. “People steal them”). 30 min later, a knock on the door asking for the fork back! Bar was horribly stocked. Red wine? NO. White Wine? NO. Just beer Breakfast opened at 7am. I arrived at 6:50 and just asked if I could have a coffee while i waited. NO. They ran out of juice, asked for more….wait for it…NO. Power was off several times, once for 2+ hours. Windows don’t open so it became very stuffy. Room was not cleaned one day. I asked just for fresh towels. I had to bring my used ones down to the front desk, where they counted them to be replaced. I guess their guests steal towels too! On checkout I asked politely if I could speak to the manager. “No manager here”. That kinda sums up the whole stay. Many, many better options here and this should never be part of IHG with the terrible service

Non dire che ero felice di questo hotel, ma anche non posso dire che era molto cattivo. Ci sono stati sentimenti misti da rimanere qui, da qui e una simile valutazione. Posizione dal punto di vista della vicinanza all'aeroporto – eccellente. E in termini di vita, non è molto conveniente, e qui non intendo nemmeno la posizione rispetto al centro della città. Sotto le finestre è una lavatrice e una macchina per il riscaldamento, dove la donna comunica con i clienti di notte e mattina dal portavoce, ostacola gravemente il sonno e influisce sul benessere generale. Le tende hanno dovuto anche essere abbattute, altrimenti la luce farà ostacolare il sonno. In generale, le mie notti erano disturbate: luce nella finestra, incapacità di aprire la finestra per far uscire l'aria fresca (anche se è possibile fare meglio). È stato necessario spiegare ai conducenti di taxi dove si trova l'ingresso principale all'hotel, che sembra un servizio e non per la prima volta che si suppone che sia l'ingresso. Il vostro trasferimento gratuito – è un miracolo, vogliono ringraziare molto per due belle viaggi. Il primo, dall'aeroporto, grazie all'uomo meraviglioso che mentre mi occupavo dei bagagli persi, non se n'è andato e mi ha aspettato questa ora, anche se non abbiamo nemmeno avuto contatto perché ho dimenticato di avvertire l'hotel che mi sono ritardato all'uscita di aeroporto. Grazie mille! Il viaggio all’aeroporto non era meno comodo, tutto era in tempo e al livello superiore! Il personale sul respiratore era sempre amichevole, reagente, andò a incontrarsi quando necessario. La camera è stata molto confortevole, la verità sul tavolo è stata estremamente inconfortabile a lavorare, a meno che non si sia amanti di gettare le gambe sulle gambe e così via.

Hotel staff are polite and very accommodating,they fulfilled most request during my week long stay. However, the TV in the room only offers Russian and Kazakh programs tho there’s a lot of non Russian/Kazakh speaking guest. Wide variety of breakfast but gets repetitive during a long stay. Spa/sauna is complimentary but almost impossible to book, partly lost in translation as the staff in charge doesn’t speak much English and it’s always occupied for some reason.

Our stay at Ritz-Carlton Almaty was exceptional, in fact our fav part of the city as tourists. The best part was the warm service from the staff, in particular thanks to Yekaterina (Kate), Malika, and concierge lady. Kate was welcoming and informative upon check in. Guest service staff Malika gave us attentive care throughout our stay and accommodated our preferences, which truly enhanced our experience in the country. Concierge lady gave us comprehensive advice on where to visit. The view from both our room and the Sky Lounge was unparalleled. Snow-capped mountains framed the landscape, offering a mesmerizing backdrop that undoubtedly ranks among the best in Almaty. Will definitely come back here if we’re back in the city.
