Hotel in zona Vivero “La Casa Del Árbol”, Acapulco

El hotel es bastante bueno y relativamente nuevo, por lo que las instalaciones están bien conservadas. Es limpio y sanitizan de manera continua. Hubo dos temas que me molestaron : 1) No fue posible conseguir almohadas adicionales. La respuesta fue decisiva, ”no tenemos disponibilidad”, así de simple. No es posible que en un hotel de cadena les hagan falta almohadas! 2) El baño carece de tapetes para la entrada a la regadera y dentro de la misma. El piso es muy resbaloso con el riesgo de una caída. Además el agua se sale de la regadera e inunda parte del baño. Sugiero de manera enfática se lleven unas sandalias para evitar caerse en el baño. Los kleenex se acabaron el primer día de nuestra estancia y nunca fue reemplazado.

Molto consigliabile non ha troppo lusso per me serve a dormire un soggiorno tranquillo e da lì viaggiare in qualsiasi parte del porto perché è molto centro, il personale è molto attento e gentile parcheggio è accessibile,e è sempre pulito

La habitación que nos dieron estaba en un piso que se encontraba en mantenimiento, hacían ruido de reparaciones desde temprano y era muy molesto. La vista que nos tocó fue hacia unas canchas de tenis y un edificio de departamentos bastante descuidados, que no pertenece al hotel, lo cuál demeritó mucho nuestra experiencia. El mobiliario de la habitación en general es viejo, antes en la pequeña cocina había utensilios, ahora no hay nada, incluso quitaron el refrigerador, sólo dejaron el microondas. El wifi fue demasiado lento, no cargaban ni redes sociales, la limpieza, regular ya que no barrian la habitación, sólo se limitaban a hacer la cama. El servicio en las albercas es muuuuuuuy lento, tienen pocos meseros a pesar de ser temporada alta, y las sábanas que cubren las camas de la alberca están percudidas y viejas. El servicio de toallas de alberca te da una al día por persona, y no puedes pedir que te la cambien por una seca, tendrás que quedarte la misma hasta el día siguiente. Lo positivo fue la cercanía y excelente ubicación justo en el centro de la bahía de Acapulco, enfrente hay un centro comercial con restaurantes, y tiendas. A pocos pasos un mercado de souvenirs y artesanías. Y si quieres pedir comida o cualquier servicio por apps, te llega a la entrada del hotel en minutos. Las albercas bien, aunque podrían mejorar su limpieza, pues se ve bastante turbia el agua, sobre todo en la de adultos, que es una gran ventaja, si no viajas con niños y quieres relajarte.

The rooms are suites with a seperate room for sleeping and a room with couch, chairs and balconey. Don’t expect an upscale room for the price, we found the room comfortable for the price. He is honest, kind, friendly, funny and most of all will give you the best service. His tours are fantastic and his vehicles are air conditioned!

The building has an intriguing shape and there are many pools. It’s also right in La Condesa Beach. Ideal location, you would think. BUT…. 1. After checking in, I found a very dirty washroom sink, and called down to report it. The woman who arrived waved her hand dismissively but I stood my ground and she cleaned it. Turns out the drain is clogged so even if the poor cleaner did her job the first time, the previous guest’s hair and muck would ring the sink unless you took special care. Annnd the sink was never fixed the whole time I was there. 2. At checkin I got a band slapped on my wrist and later realized every guest got one. It showed you belong on the property. Also they come in different colors: White means a basic stay; red means breakfast included and purple means all inclusive. So yea others will know what you’re paying for during your stay. 3. The beach is pretty good except it’s a pirate’s cove — meaning that because of the vagaries of Mexican law, though Hotsun has a great location and a piece of the beach for its guests, where you can generally sit free, the spots nearest the water belong to the government. So if you sit in the lounge chairs and under the tents nearest the waves, you have to pay different guys who keep changing the price every single day. If you land on a cruise ship from some far-flung country you may not be aware of this. Those guys, wearing uniforms of some sort, also sell drinks that are exorbitantly priced. Before you figure out they have nothing to do with Hotsun, you may be taken for a ride. I was. Also, every 1-2 mins of every day, vendors descend on the beach with all sorts of things for sale. In one day I was asked to buy grilled shrimp on a stick, coconut water with jelly, sun hats, fridge magnets, massages, boat rides, oysters, sun dresses, sunglasses, beach floats, tattoos, braids, sunscreen, sand boots and a serenade from a nice old man with a guitar. People have to make a living, yes, and the law makes Mexican beach space very democratic, but I wish the hotel, which took a $200 MXN returnable deposit to give me a towel to lie by the pool for the duration of my stay, had warned me about the Wild West nature of the beach where it is located, and pointed out which uniformed person belongs to the hotel and a head’s up so I could buy at my own risk. I said “No, gracias” maybe 90 times during that one week. 4. The noise, oh the noise. If this is your jam, go for it. But for many it would be a frustrating experience all around.

Buona posizione, buona attenzione del personale, ma le strutture sono trascurate, i loro spazi ( sala d'attesa, alberi, letti) sono molto piccoli per il numero di ospiti che ospita. Bevande regolari. La pulizia è regolare, ma per il costo è accettabile.
